This store was selling a lens on eBay as a Buy It Now or Make an Offer. I made an offer of about 9% less than what they wanted - there were many such lenses on eBay, none of which were selling. This store made a counter offer to me - they raised the price over 70% or $360. Wise guys. Plus their eBay ratings are low. I have warned my photofriends not to deal with these people.

I can’t say enough good things about this amazing team at the Fort Smith Bedfords!! I am a full time professional photographer and I always come to Bedfords first for all my needs especially for gear and prints!I am a Canon user and I recently had my camera stop working during the middle of my shoot! Needless to say I was terrified! My camera wouldn’t even turn on! Thank God I had a back up (thanks Anna for the advice three years ago)! So I contacted Canon to see if they would fix it and sent my camera in. Now I have only owned this camera for two years and it was brand new when I bought it, so I assumed Canon would take care of me. They asked where I purchased it and I said Bedfords. Very long story short and after an hour of pure frustration with Canon Customer Care (I even cried I was so mad), I three way called Bedfords to see if they could clear up a couple questions for me and they ended up taking care of EVERYTHING and saved me EIGHT-HUNDRED DOLLARS!! I couldn’t believe it! Jeff (the president of Bedfords) got on the phone himself with me and Canon Customer Care and cleared everything up and fixed it! Anna was also a huge help and letting me know what to do and taking care of me!Again, they have always been there for me, helping me every step of the way throughout my career and always putting me first! I will never use anyone else whenever I need quality service, care, and prints! Thank you so much to this amazing team for always being there when I need you!

Staff was really friendly and I loved the antique cameras on the wall

So, I’m visiting my family in Fort Smith and came in “tourist mode” with only my camera, a 20mm lens and a flash. Now, I have to do an important family portrait and I don’t have my gear!!! Its all back home in Dallas. Bedford Camera & Video steps in and takes care of my situation like the professionals they are! They had everything I needed. Thank you to Jeff Beauchamp (my long time mentor) and Ben (store manager) for setting me up with the rental gear the shoot required.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff

Employees are very unapproachable, they made it seem like asking questions and looking up products was an inconvenience to them. There was an older lady on the floor that tried to help, but she wasnt working behind the counter. Even an employee that came in while we were waiting stared and me and my husband like why are you here

This shop is fantastic. They were unable to sell me a lens I wanted so they loaned me one till the one I want to purchase arrives in a few days.

The employees were extremely helpful and very nice.

Took canon 80D to them for repair. The guy could not estimate the cost of repair nor did I get anything saying I had dropped my camera off with them. Was told it would take 2 weeks to get an estimate then they could repair the camera.

The entire process was seamless!

Went to check out super-zoom bridge cameras, 2 employees were nice but uninformed, telling me that the Canon 50X does not shoot RAW, in fact, that no bridge camera shoots RAW. Not what I expect or want from a camera store.
