This shop is so sweet. It reminds me of quaint shops you might see on a driving trip through a small town square somewhere in the Midwest.If you have any Nordic heritage at all this is your shop for things from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and possibly other places that I missed. Its not large, but its chok-full-o Swedish stuff. Theres cutesy things as well as stunning glass artwork. All the prices are reasonable. My 6 year old son insisted that I purchase a Anglaspel (rotary candle holder) and my daughter loved the Dahl horse items. There are also traditional Swedish preserved foods, too. This will be my place to come back and get some beautiful Christmas decorations. They have many in the store. The owner was at the store when I was there. He was very kind and helpful.Overall, go find a reason to support this local Fort Myers business thats been here for many years. Theres bound to be something Swedish you need to have in your life even if its just a small trinket or jar of jam or a Pippi Longstocking book.Mom Considerations: there was not an obvious restroom in this mall, so if youre shopping with children, I would make a stop somewhere prior to coming. Otherwise you may just need to ask the shop owner where to go.

My family and I have been going to A Swedish Affair for over 6 years to get our fix of Swedish art, licorice, food, and gifts. Just a nice little place, very quaint, and great for people who are Swedish, or love Swedish culture!

First time I have been in this shop. I am trying one of their kitchen Swedish dish cloths. Comes in great designs. Has lots of fun things. Prices seem reasonable.

If you are Scandinavian as I am you will love this place! So many unusual gift ideas even if you are not Swedish! Owners are very nice people and will certainly help you find what you are looking for. And a good selection of authentic Swedish food to boot!

My wife is from Sweden. This is the first time Ive been to a swedish affair. now I know why she likes to go. Its very quaint and charming. There are plenty of Scandinavian items, but if you dont find something that you want they can order it for you. Really worth taking the time to visit.

I have gone to Richard to get my Swedish fix for over 20 years. I would be lost without this store. They have everything and more Swedish/Scandinavian related and I highly recommend it. Highest quality on all products!!

A Swedish Affair is a hidden gem in Royal Palm Square. The owners were not only extremely helpful in meeting our needs but apparently, when I was shopping, I became dehydrated and they quickly got me a water.While they have a wonderful variety of merchandise from home decor to kitchen items to food to jewelry, my favorites are the unique wood trivets and the Swedish dishwashing sponge...fantastic! You have to try these...really!!!

I called this morning wondering about sill. Asked first in Swedish if they had any and received an hesitant yes. Trying to be polite I asked again in English. If they sold Pickled herring. The man then raised his voice to me and said in an very impolite voice that thats what I said, arent you listening?Well to say the least I bought our pickled herring elsewhere. Shame on you

This is a charming gift store for Scandinavians and non-Scandinavians alike. The back of the store even has a section for Scandinavian food and candy as well as a section dedicated to traditional Christmas decorations.

Son has a project due on Monday so we decided to check out this place on Saturday. Their website says they are open on Saturdays til 6:00pm. Even the sign on door said they were open til 6:00pm, I got there at 5:10 and it was closed. Are these people going by European time????? We drove thirty minutes to get there for nothing.
