Very cool shop blew my mind. If you are into trains or doll houses this place is your heaven. Also the have a full service soda jerk and ice cream parlor. My daughter and I visit this shop at least once a month.

Darling store and great little eatery. Why I didnt find it sooner is beyond me. Good food and service.

Get to know the owner!As a child I have always had a fascination for miniatures. I remember making my first dollhouse out of a tin Band Aid box. (Yes, back then they came in a tin rather than cardboard). I designed the flooring, walls and furniture. Using just a tweezers to get it all in there. I remember thinking that one day I was going to live in there. Oh, the imagination of a child.In 2000, my husband purchased my first dollhouse, from this very store. It seemed as though I had worked on it every wakening minute. But, with very small kids, I was not able to finish it. Then in the summer of 2013, I said this was the year I was going to finish my project. I was ready to start another one. Bigger and better! Well, it had needed some work. And I sure do like change, so I stripped wallpaper, pulled up carpet, refinished the roof, and even gave the yard a face lift. Looks totally different then when I started years ago. You can now see it in my store window.While working on my house, I was visiting with the previous owner, and she was thinking about retiring, but did not want to close what she had worked so hard for. What a wonderful opportunity I thought. So we started the process of change of ownership.Lots of changes are happening with the store. The name has changed to Dollhouse Dreams. New signage is up for all to see in the front of the store. And we now have a brand new Web Site, which is very user friendly and visually appealing. So much more, is yet to come.We currently sell Melissa & Doug educational toys, Webkinz, Lee Middleton Dolls. And, recently moved back from the Westland Mall in West Burlington, Bear Necessities where you can stuff your own animal. Birthday parties are available as well.And my favorite is the Miniatures. We have dollhouses, dollhouse kits, furniture and accessories. We offer over 3300 different items in miniatures alone, and still counting.So, I guess you might say that I have come full circle. I am now living in my miniature dollhouse.Stop in and check us out. I would love to visit with you more about my Miniature Dollhouse world!
