This place was recommended by Baker to reupholster their chairs. Jeff, the principal, was very responsive. It is not inexpensive but you pay for the good workmanship and no-headache service. Highly recommended. Chairs from picture 2 and 3 were done 6 months ago... so the conditions are not as pristine as the grey chair.

Jeff was very easy to communicate with and reupholstered four barrel chairs with wood trimming that my Mother purchased secondhand. They are really gorgeous. The wood veneer was chipped and he fixed it to look brand new. It was quite a complicated job. We chose a patterned fabric and there were front, back, curved panels and cushions that needed to be upholstered on each chair. They all look perfect. They look so much more cheerful as the first thing you see when you enter the home. I wish I had pictures but they are in my parent’s home. I did compare prices with one of the big fabric stores in NYC in the beginning and think he gave us a fair price.

Jeff did an excellent job fixing the tufted buttons on our couch. We were impressed with the quality of his work and speed with which he got it done. His prices are fair and he is a good person to deal with. A positive experience all around.

In May we were packing to relocate to Las Vegas and I needed to get our 50 year old mid century modern dining chairs reupholstered. Jeff was the third vendor I spoke with and besides having the most competitive price I simply felt secure leaving these eight valuable chairs with him during our move. Jeff calculated a $200 cost to ship the chairs to me in Vegas when finished which was added to the total. During the entire reconstruction process Jeff sent me regular progress photos. It was great seeing how detailed his work was. When the chairs were completed Jeff shipped them to me even though there was a 50% balance still due... this really touched me, and only after I received them and told him how thrilled I was with the work did he ask for the balance to be paid. On top of that I saw that the shipping actually cost him $350 but he was a professional and did not ask for a penny more. I can’t say enough about Jeff and First Class Upholstery. They are truly “First Class”!

My husband and I took our chairs to be reupholstered and refinished. We didn’t expect them to look as good as they turned out. We’ve had them for 16 years and they now look brand new.Most of our chairs were loose, and he tightened them up. He even doubled the fabric because he felt it wasn’t thick enough. And he did this at no extra charge.My husband went to pick them up and they didn’t all fit in his truck, the gentleman said he would deliver the ones that didn’t fit. He was so nice, went out of his way to help us and the best of all is they look excellent and he is affordable.When it’s time to reupholster my sofas, this is where I’ll be taking them.

We have 4 dining room chairs that were ravaged severely by our cats and needed new fabric. We came to First Class Upholstery and Jeff was very helpful, showed us some fabric books for us to choose from and gave us an estimate based on what we told him. Jeff suggested that we take a couple of the books (we narrowed the search to) with us home to make our choice without time constraints.The next week we came back with the chairs and our selection. We have a couch that we had custom made and paid a fortune for, but unfortunately the couch was no longer comfortable to sit on. We chose to speak with Jeff and regarding our couch. We then decided to re-stuff the entire couch. Jeffs work saved our couch and we didnt need to purchase a new one. I had a vinyl headboard on my king size bed that was cracking, peeling, and flaking all over. We had an idea to attempt to see if we could get it re-upholstered, otherwise we would have to shop for a whole new bed set. We selected First Class Upholstery after visiting a total of 3 local shops around. Jeff was very communicative and his initial estimate held out to the end, even though there may have been a question of sourcing the chosen material and the associated cost. The end results came out beautifully and he was able to get the finished product to us the same day he picked it up (a little over 5 hours later). I couldnt ask for a better experience or anyone better to assist us in this project. Thank you!
