Mr. Adrian is by far among one of the kindest, most professional, and amazing people I have ever met in the firearms industry.Very knowledgeable and kind, and whats especially important; is I noticed right off the bat that he does not treat females in any other different way as he would a male.And I am forever grateful for that.Because as an instructor and armorer, I have witnessed some men treat me/females in general differently.Some men treat women in the self defense industry that are dedicated and knowledgeable professionals, as if they are less than men, or are not as capable as men, or do not know as much as men do upon first sight.But Adrian made us feel right at home the entire time we visited Shoot Straight, and we knew right away that we were in the presence of such a wonderful energy, and customer service experience and it was awesome.Truly a wonderful gentleman.Thank you so much, Sir. This was my 3rd time coming to the range here, on those 3 visits we have been very rude. The staff for the range department have no patience to explain specifics that we were not aware of. Also their approach is quite aggressive and demeaning. We will not be coming back here for any more ammo or for the range, and I will tell others.

I went to this place for the first time a couple of days ago, needed to find a range near me and boy I did. Great location, beautiful store and really nice range. Had the chance to talk to Mathew he sold me one of the memberships. I really enjoyed our convo, i think nowadays is hard to find people who truly enjoy what they do, he provided a great customer experience. Definitely my go to range.

I walked into this store yesterday and found Cliff, a great employee and who was very knowledgeable and helpful! He took the time to show me around and helped me pick out some basic glock 43 starter kit accessories. This review isnt just about a gun shop. Its about a gun shop that provides a peek level of customer service that far exceeds that of any other service based retail industry. It all beings with Catherine or Cat as is written on her name tag. From the moment you call the shop, Cat is friendly and knowledgeable. I dont mean regular friendly. I mean the kind of friendly that says I want to help achieve the greatest version of yourself kind friendly. She projects a Im here for you and only you level of helpfulness and kindness. And I dont mean the regular knowledgeable like she knows some stuff about guns. I mean I asked about a Springfield Hellcat and she started listing the versions by thier models numbers as if she was speaking in tongues. Blown away is an understatement. I had to make the 1 hour drive to the shop in miserable traffic just to see her in person. Even in person, discussing red dot sights, her knowledge far surpassed that of any representative from any industry Ive purchased anything from. I looked away for a moment, and was immediately met with 5 different red dots with a documented list of each ones strengths and weaknesses, pricing differences, and benefits. All this as she multi-tasked, helping other customer service representatives, greeting other customers as they walk through the doors, and communicating with the reps on the opposite side of the store. The gun model I bought wasnt even the version I really wanted, but I felt obligated to buy anything from her based the level of customer service I received. My understanding is that shes moving soon which in my opinion will be a loss to Shoot Straight and positive to whoever gains her as an employee. Regardless of which, Shoot Straight has gained a customer for life solely based on this experience. Thank you.

Ive been a avid shooter for 20 years. This is my favorite gun shop in south Florida. Clean, cool and fairly priced range. Awesome gun and accessory selection.

I have to say that it’s been a very long time since I was in the Military. I was in the Army and served as a Military Police Officer. I don’t remember many things about the time as I suffer from PTSD. But I’m a work in progress and I’m getting better with every day that passes. I walked in and met this power house this amazing women who should have been and Drill Instructor. She was everything I would want in a daughter or daughter-in- law. Powerful, Confident, Bold, Smart & Pretty. She new her stuff and didn’t overwhelm me with to much. She listened and heard what I was saying. She educated me and never made me feel as if I was unknowledgeable. Even though I was. She listened as I said and directed me to a few different options. I ended up with a Sig Sauer P365 and have been back to your store a 2nd & 3rd time. I live in Riverview Fl so the nearest store to me is on 301. The staff there wasn’t a friendly or as concerned about listening to me. I’m trying to get my wife comfortable with firing a weapon so I enrolled her in your class. She was very excited and wanted to learn even more. We will all be at you place on 301 this weekend letting her try out a few different weapons to see what she’s comfortable with. Thank you for creating a place for my family and I to come to. I’m going to purchase the family membership this weekend and plan on being a regular. Please if a member of management or and owner reads this please know that you have a rockstar in your employee who should be acknowledged for her understanding and amazing customer service. She could teach some of the crew at the 301 location a thing or two. I’ll call Cat before looking to deal with anyone else.

I love coming to Shoot Straight, they always have more than adequate staff, and they always seem happy to answer my questions. I’ve already purchased 3 weapons from them, and several boxes of ammo, and as long as their customer service continues being stellar, they will continue being my number one gun store choice.

So Shoot Straight is a gun store and a range at the same time. Here, they offer firearms at competitive prices and that goes for the same with their ammo. The staff are friendly and willing to help out anyone with their firearm needs. The range itself is nice and ventilated. Be cautious though, that during COVID times, the range is very loud due to people buying a lot of guns so just make sure you are wearing double hearing protection when entering the range. Other than that, Shoot Straight is a great firearms establishment.

Ordered a striped 5.56 lower from Primary Arms and wanted sent to an FFL close to me, Shoot Straight. Contacted Shoot Straight, spoke to a woman and she gave me an email address for Adrian (my guess the store manager or FFL holder). Paid for lower and gave Primary Arms the email for FFL contact. Got email back from Primary Arms saying lower shipped. Got an email from UPS saying item shipped (2 day air). Week goes by no phone call. I call shoot straight (Fort Lauderdale, who I had called). They do not have. I check with UPS, delivered last Friday, to West Palm Shoot Straight, WTH? I call Fort Lauderdale location, person on range, took my info, call back later. . . No call. Thursday I call West Palm location, they have it. I say “hold it”, I will drive up and get (over an hour away, Fort Lauderdale is 10 minutes away). Drive today to West Palm, nice guy helps, no discount, nothing. . . . . . . . Hence my not buying or using the range no more from Shoot Straight.

Excellent staff, good inventory, very nice, well kept and safe range.I have visited the Fort Lauderdale store on multiple occasions, I have also purchased on line and picked up from this location. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the range costs are very fair. Range wait times even during COVID, are reasonable. Weapons purchased locally at the store are in line with what other local brick and mortar facilities set their prices for firearms at within MSRP. I have been to dozens of firearms dealers and ranges across the state, from central Florida to South Florida, and this has never failed to be a good experience.

Great for new guns, but not so good if you want to trade or sell used guns, they practically will give you $75.00 on a gun selling on auction for $400-$500 I would have felt better if they didnt make me an offer

Yesterday, my son made a visit to Shoot Straight for the first time. The firing pin block retaining spring pin for a pistol needed replacement. Without providing an estimate for service or being asked to repair the weapon, the gunsmith took the pistol in the back, put in the pin and told my son the cost was $40, pinch price, for the repair. Not great customer service but lesson learned – we are not likely to return to Shoot Straight.

Management is extremely kind, considerate, and knowledgeable.After purchasing my first firearm, I realized it came with 10 round mags, unlike the 17 round mags I had fired from the rental Glock 34. I had asked whether or not it came with 17 round mags before purchasing, and receiving the affirmative, I failed to check myself. I was just thrilled to find a Glock 34 in stock anywhere.Having returned today to get our fingerprints taken with Southeast Tactical Concepts, I ran it by Mr. Lucas. He helped sort it all out, and was very kind and understanding. Ill definitely be coming back here for my next firearm

Horrible drinks. Paid 20.00 for it was just a waste. Two other tables sending drinks back to be remade still Horrible. Disappointed when we visited in December they were great must have hired inexperienced bar tenders. Wait staff didnt care about the issue. So Disappointed 😞

Went there today needlessness to say no one ask if I needed any help; however someone else came in right after me and was asking if they needed any assistance. All money is green and all Credit cards swipe the same, my skin tone I feel played a part in not getting assistance.

Normally, everything /everyone are great.Today, I used their Gun Smith for the first time. He was so incredibly Rude, Dishonest, and a real Prima-Dona. The price went from $35 to $85, without warning or notice. When I said the price should be given before services not after, he replied, it was a good price but he could remove my scope etc, if Im unhappy. Nice!!Shoot Straight knows hes like that and allows it to continue.I have spent thousands here, including todays red-dot scope, and the AR that I put it on, plus my Walther PPQ, and tons of accessories, range time, etc.But, no more!!!

Bought my first self defense gun here today. Staff knowledgeable and friendly but they charged me $350 for a $300 msrp gun.

Went to the range everything was fine. As I was leaving saw a gun I might want on the wall. Waited almost 30 minutes at the counter. Guy finally comes over and instead of just taking literally one minute to show a me a gun Ive clearly been waiting 30 minutes see; says since youre not in the process of buying a gun youll have to go to the complete other side of the store and wait in that line.

Hi guys so I was in the market for a new concealed weapon, and I decided to go to shoot straight like I always do. Weather I’m buying ammo , accessories , or a new weapon. I keep going back here. Now it’s not because they have the best price around or I love the decoration it’s the people that works there that makes me keep going back. Today Adrian help me out with my purchase and his customer service was awesome like always. Lowest prices great services and nice environment. You can’t beat that.

Had an amazing experience at Shoot Straight today from my initial phone call to my purchase. I called to see if they buy used firearms, which they do. Steve informed me of this and let me know to bring in my exchange unloaded and in a case. When I got there Steve was busy with other clients, but I was fortunate to have Bernice take care of me. She was incredible! I was offered a fair price for my trade-in which brought the price of my new Glock down substantially. The paperwork was done in a prompt and timely manner and I was on my way. It’s employees like Bernice that will have me refer my friends and family to Shoot Straight for all their firearm needs. Thank you all for making it such a great and enjoyable experience!

I generally enjoy being a patron at this establishment. However, the customer service i experienced today was downright deplorable. Never have I felt so humiliated and degraded where Ive spent hundreds of my hard earned dollars in purchasing my firearms, ammunition, and range time. The issue was not rectified to my liking and ultimately will result in me taking my business where it is appreciated.

I generally like this store, they really have a great selection (new and used) at fair prices, Ive gotten some awesome deals here. The only thing holding it back from being 5 stars is the hit or miss customer service. Sometimes the service is outstanding, and other times its awful, just depends on who you get to speak with. Even pre-pandemic they have usually had lines to speak with someone and hit or miss service. If they can bring it up more consistently, itd be 5 stars in my book.

Its always pleasant coming here. The staff is incredibly helpful and will talk to you even if you dont purchase anything (provided that its not busy). They also dont discriminate against younger people or treat them like they dont know how to handle firearms. The prices are pretty close to what youll find online and as a result, Ive bought most of my guns here. This is also my go-to range as the prices are reasonable and they wont kick you off the lane once your time is up if it isnt too busy.

This place keeps coming down...customer service is the worst. Entitled people deciding if you can or can’t spend your dollars inside. Came to buy a couple handguns and was turned at the entrance because I was not allowed to browse what I wanted. This kind of people then ask why people just buy from others in the internet... I bet toys are us is regretting that kind of things right now. I bought at least five firearms from them... never again will they have my money.

I had heard some bad reviews from friends, however my experience was great! Even came back the next week after using the range to purchase a firearm. You really need to have some common sense when entering a gun shop. Like don’t ask to put a scope on your AR12(yes 12 The shotgun, not 15)... that was a serious question asked to the staff.

Horrible experienceCame to shoot straight to purchase an AR 15 and was stopped at the door and told we needed to wait for a sale associate. My friend and I patiently waited for them to call us in. When the sales associate called us to come in we were told at the door are we both buying guns which we said yes, he then asked what kind of gun? I told him an AR15 and said I wanted to see them but was not going to be forced to buy a gun if I didn’t like the price or style. He said no then you can’t come in. Not sure if he thought I was window shopping or what? I own a successful roofing company with a total of 3 offices and have no problem buying something I like. Still in shock we were just treated in that manner

I am very disappointed with the customer service and follow through related to an online sale of a firearm with shoot straight. Since this store is local, and they had advised the gun was in stock, I purchased through their online site and expected to pick up within 2 weeks.Once purchased, the funds were immediately taken out of my account. I called the store 3 times throughout the course of 2 weeks to check on the status of the shipment, but each time, the associate would tell me to wait until they receive the firearm and they would call me. During this timeframe, they were unable to provide any status update/expectations regarding my purchase.After waiting an additional week, I called back. I was told they could not locate the firearm and requested my contact information. They explained that they would review the order and call back prior to end of business day. The next day, after not hearing back, I called again. Once again I provided my contact information and was told they would return my call. On the third day, I was upset and complaining when I called back. This time they provided the number to their warehouse and told me to call them directly. I attempted to reach the warehouse, but the number remained busy throughout the day. At this point I called my credit card company to chargeback the transaction.I highly advise against using this company. Their customer service is horrendous and they cannot provide any information regarding your purchase. If I ordered from a gun store out of state, had it shipped to a fll, and completed the sale, I would have been able to pick it up by now.

I am very disappointed with the bad communication in this store. I bought my rifle 7/1 and they say is ready for pick up the following Wednesday. I come here Wednesday and they tell me Thursday and then I come Thursday and they say no its friday. I live far from here and it cost me money every time I drive here. Background check was already clear.Taking my business somewhere else

I was there to enroll in a basic fireman instruction for beginners as advertised in their website ..and that was a lie..they offer only CCW for experienced guys...well I will buy somewhere else.

When I first came into the store I thought I had found a great place to shoot at cheaper prices than nexus nearby but the more I shot and interacted with the staff especially the tall guy with the pony tail and glasses the more I realized the lack of enthusiasm and care For the store. Furthermore the way they treat older customers is definitely something to be desired and by reading the comment section I can see that this isn’t the first time this happened this place has definitely turned from someplace great to someplace I can’t stand all because of disrespectful staff not all of them but there are a enough to make you think twice about coming back. If I were a new shooter I would just use there range even though there are no safety officers and try hard to avoid the staff as much as possible so you don’t get turned off by the place.
