Of course I didnt want to be there broke down for 3 days, but if I had to be in a shop, and I have been in a few. That was the shop to be in. The people were extremely nice and did everything they could to keep me updated.The only downside was the drivers lounge was too cold. Everyone commented on that. I had to put a coat on at times.

Our truck got there 05/07/2021,for Leaf spring bushings.Promise day was 05/10/2021.It didant hapen,then it wasl 05/11/2021,It did not happen, Then it was 05/12/2021 at which point we got an updated estimate with no explanation we called and checked and were told the tex found damaged parts but they did not provide any pictures. Finally, they Completed the Repair but forgot to do the alignment,so the truck needed to wait until the afternoon the next day.dont know how they have such a high rating but our experience was far from that.

Repairs are great but in the service office Dave seems to do everything but what he needs to do to get drivers closed out and down the road. He called me at 12:10 to let me know that my truck was done and was going to be road tested I got to the shop at 1 pm 2 hours later still waiting so no stars for Dave but shop gets 5. Im a company driver for L.H.T.

Patience and Persistence Pays off. Louie stuck with me for over a month on a Used 2014 Granite Mack Dump they had taken in trade for new trucks. The truck was pending a sale for over a month from my original phone contact and as soon as it became available for sale he called me just as promised at the top of his list and got me hooked up on the deal. It was exactly what i had been looking for and worth the wait. I was very excited. Made the 1,300 mile journey home with no problem. I am thankful.

We took our 2001 Peterbilt to Palm Truck Center due to an overheating problem. I had already visited two locations and was told two different and expensive diagnosis. Looking for a third opinion I went to Palm Truck Centers, I must admit they had a lot of work and we waited a bit for their finding but the end result was worthwhile. Our truck is back on the road, it was something completely different that other mechanics didnt even bother to look. If you take your vehicle here remove all valuables. I took my RV there to have house batteries installed. I had many, many bottles of liquor in the rv. All but a few bottles were stolen. I called afterwards and asked that the owner/manager call me back. I never received a return call. So, be very leery of this place.

Own a fleet of Peterbilts and went in there to get a repair done. actuators. 2-4 months after repairs I was in two different shops. One CAT and one Peterbilt shop and both said the continued issues were workmanship issues from the repair at this shop. Have been trying for 2.5 months to get an answer from Palm Pete on these workmanship issues and invoices from other shops(which those shops say Palm should be responsible for labor to their repairs). Ive been getting the manager is reviewing it every time Ive try to get their thoughts on invoices Ive sent over for the last 2.5 months. Beware that if their is an issue they wont stand behind their work or lack there of

Their drivers like to travel 50+ mph through the neighborhood while kids are walking home from school. It would be a tragedy for a child to get hit by one of these trucks!YOU DO NOT OCCUPY THAT NEIGHBORHOOD ALONE!This is not the first incident!Slow your drivers down or someone else will!I will personally be watching for your drivers from now on!SLOW THE HELL DOWN IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD!

I see all this reviews and it surprises me,when I got my truck to the shop to fixed the I had an issue with the a/c and they voided the warranty because it was the second time the ac broke down in less than a year . at the end I had to take my truck somewhere else ,manager was very unprofessional.Must be a new manager at PalmPete.

Great story!I check my truck into a local repair shop in south Florida for a pm. The service technician told me I that I have oil leak at front of my engine and it is either the bearing housing or the crankshaft seal. and it will be a big jobI called the peterbilt dealership not far away and told them the story. First thing the peterbilt service department say he dont think that they are right because the engine in your truck normally doesnt leak oil for the front bearing housing and the crankshaft main seal. The service department said can you bring it to us and we will Diagnose for free.When I arrived at the peterbilt dealership two service technician came out and looked at my truck and they both agreed it was the crankshaft gasket that was leaking and not the bearing housing or the crankshaft seal.The next day my truck was fix.I did not expect this kind of treatment for a dealership.they saved me over $1500.00 plus downtime.

I purchased a used Landscape Truck from them Last Month. They did no inspection of this truck as the electrical system was completely messed up ( turn signal, battery, brake box), brakes were poor, window motor didnt work. The delivered the truck with a 1/4 tank of gas. It spent the first month after purchase in the shop, in fact the first payment was made before I actually used the truck. They then have the audacity to say I owe them an additional $150 for the license plate. I would never trust purchasing a used vehicle from them ever again. I gave them a 1 star because it wouldnt allow a 0.

This review started as a one star but palm truck center in ft Lauderdale redeemed themselves today I was very disappointed in how the service was but thanks to Ron, Anthony, and one other guy forgot his name sorry but all in all the day was saved by these guys this was the second time at this particular shop and both times was unsatisfactory with service but after today I feel confident in leaving my equipment with them in the future just hope the service is a lot better that time around. The mechanics are great and the body shop does outstanding work! It is a very unprofessional place, I went to do a maintenance on my truck, they left the oil levels very high and the oil cap loosened also without water the grater I had just walked 6 miles I started the engine as I had to check it I thought it was The water I left for New York the road was horrible when I brought my truck back and told them the only thing they did was charge more, they changed the water filter and left the faucet closed, everything resulted in more than $ 10,000 where due to the bad work of the mechanics come in for maintenance and look also they have been with the truck stopped for two weeks and they cannot fix anything because the waiting list is 5 daysI DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO TO THAT PLACE BAD SERVICE SUPER MALLLL
