I own a Sea-Doo jet boat and live in Cape Coral Florida which is 2 plus hours away from Davey Marine. After the service that I received this week I will never have my boat fixed anywhere else. We were in a time crunch and my wife spoke to Mario the owner and he was able to get us in the next day. When I arrived at the shop I met with Tommy who was awesome and within a matter of hours they diagnosed our boat and had it fixed. Top Notch all the way around including the man that hooked our trailer to the car.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This all started a few months ago I was towing by boat to Davey marine center when my trailer axles snapped. I called the center and informed them of the issue, they assured me they could fix the trailer as well as my initial request to go through my outboard. My boat sits there a few days when they inform me that my trailer is in the way and it would be easier to work on my boat if it wasnt there. So to make things go smoothly I hire a tow truck to remove the trailer from their property. Months go by and they cant get around to even look at my boat. Finally they call and tell me they cant get any spark to my engine. They say they cant even work on it unless to buy a $900 engine harness from them. I inform them that Id like a second opinion and will be picking the boat up. Upon my arrival Im greeted with a $900 bill. $250 for engine diagnostic and $650 to remove my boat from my trailer which was their need anyhow, without ever notifying me of the cost. Upon getting my vessel back and inspection of the engine, they removed and never replaced my 6 brand new spark plugs which to me is theft and just about vandalism exposing my engine cylinders to the elements Here I am many months later,and a few hours later with a real mechanic not related to Davey with a $300 bill and a now running engine. Do yourselves a favor and literally take your boat anywhere else, dishonest and unknowledgeable work done by Mario and his team here.

These guy are honest and fair. Ive had great experience with their services. I would highly recommend these guys.

Horrible company and do NOT purchase anything from them boat, supplies, etc. Take this as a warning. Beyond the pics I provided in this review the entire buying experience was the worst in my entire life. I should followed the signs and walked away from the purchase but unfortunately stuck with it and got the new boat. Now regret that decision. Hopefully this helps anyone considering buying a boat or anything from this company. Many other options out there in South FL and do yourself a favor and stay away from here.

I have trusted Davey Marine With 2 of my vessels. They took care of a boat load of work on my 33’ and it was super easy and fast for them to pull her out of the water. I had them repower my flats boat and bring it into the future, And they did an amazing clean job. And for all of my boats smaller ailments they are always there. These are some of the friendliest and honest marine mechanics I have ever had the pleasure to do business with!

I have been using Davey Marine Center since I got a boat 4 years ago. They give great advice, do not try to over sell you and do great work for fair prices. I have complete confidence in their work and they give quotes and stick to them. They also have great turn around time! If you need anything boating they can help with sales, service and maintenance!

Me and my husband got our first boat here and we received an amazing service. Mario and all the staff made every part of the process easy and comfortable. Outstanding customer service overall, totally recommend them!

I ordered $3500 of electrical (wire harness) parts from Davey Marine. I understand that electrical parts are not returnable but these parts were never picked up. Shortly after ordering I called and canceled that order as my mechanic made a mistake and a new mechanic said I didnt need an entire harness. Davey charged me a 40% restocking fee ($1400) for the return that was never picked up and never left their facility and was all in original packaging. Its hard to return something thats never been picked up. This 40% fee was punitive at best.

Brought my boat here and at first everything seemed great and yes they are friendly but only to deceive their customers. My first trip I had about $3,800 in repairs and I specifically asked to make sure everything was ok because Im a new boater and would hate to breakdown on the water. Sure enough I took my boat out and I got stranded the very first time after leaving their shop. Brought it back to learn the alternator wasnt working which shouldve been thoroughly checked the first time but apparently didnt happen or mysteriously stopped. Had a few other things done this trip as well another $900 and guess what I go out only to breakdown again. What does this seem like at this point???? When I call Mario he gets disturbed because hes driving and its 7:45am. You all decide if this is what you want to deal with. Im done with this s**t. By the way they specifically wrote on their invoice that they replaced a heat shrink terminal free of charge and that was BS, I changed it myself on Saturday before I went out. Oh one last thing if you need glass work done their glass guy is no where to be found, I waited for probably 3 weeks just to look at the boat but he never did. Good Luck!!!

Rick Ross I only gave this five stars so my comments would be seen first I have a 1998 Yamaha V4 cylinder 115 date change the trigger and the stator and charge me $1,400 which was way over priced at the most of the marine mechanic told me at the most it should have been parked in 2 hours labor no more than that they totally got me I did not receive the old part I have no proof that they even put parts in totally unsatisfied by beware when I called them and told them my situation they do not want to guarantee their work and they dont like the attitude of my mouth and do not want to do business with me no more by beware
