Thats exactly what happened.I was treated very well and with courtesy the entire time.The value that was offered was fair, we negotiated a bit and got a bit more. Never hurts to ask for more.In some more minutes, I signed the docs online and received my check, which I deposited on the way home.

False Advertisement!!Their whole motto is We Pay the Max!, but when I went to try and sell my car they couldnt even match the physical offer I brought in from another dealership. I told them that the only reason I went was because of their advertising, and all they said was the fine writing protected them legally from their false advertisement.PLEASE stay out of here and go to Carvana instead, their offer was a lot more generous and they dont do any false advertisement.

So far my experience with Autobuy has been excellent although I havent finished my transaction yet. The appraisal process and the paper work was as easy as it could possibly get. The appraiser was very quick and the processing department sent me the documents via DocuSign and made necessary adjustments in a timely manner. Im still waiting to be paid and have my car be picked up by the tow truck but hopefully thatll happen within the next few days. Ill update my review later to reflect the upcoming steps.

I appreciated his time and based on our conversation, I would give this business another chance down the road.Original post:Do not often post reviews but I felt others could learn from my experience. Brought my car in for an appraisal and I was given a quote that was lower than expected but the sales agent said he could speak to the manager to see what they can do. He came back and made a higher offer which I tried to negotiate further but eventually accepted. The paper work started and I was waiting for things to finish when he came back and said he was unable to get this agreed value in his computer. I thought it was just a tech support issue but he said he would have to lower the agreed upon offer. I objected so he said he would keep trying. Eventually, after waiting even longer, he came back and lowered our agreed upon offer by over 15%. I felt disappointed that the agreed upon offer, which was their offer, was rescinded. The sales talk to explain it felt like I was being misled and taken advantage of and it was just not the business experience I expected. My advice to all is to shop around and trust your instincts. I left the place and I was able to sell the car to a competitor for a $1000 more later that evening.
