This antique store is one of the best stores I’ve ever been to. There were so many beautiful, high-quality antiques. The owner even took time to explain the origins of the antiques. Definitely worth stopping by when visiting Florida.

Ventured out for consignment shopping and tumbled across this antique place. Over my budget but many amazing finds. This place also is an auction house.

We randomly chose DAFA when we had to empty my father in-laws apartment in Fort Lauderdale. We were under a time constraint, Craig Mayor was able to meet with us on short notice and take a look at the contents of the apartment. Craig was not only personable, but we found him extremely knowledgable, fair and honest. He also went so far as to research a few paintings for us regardless of whether or not he was going to purchase them. Additionally, he packed and shipped a couple of items we needed to ship to Philadelphia. We would and already have recommended him and will use him when we ultimately move out of our Philadelphia.

I have done business with DAFA and I am very happy with the outcome. I found it a great place to both buy and sell art and antiques. The Mayor family are experienced experts and only deal with authentic high-quality pieces. They are also fun to be around, and are generous with referrals and resources if needed.

Went to the liquidation sale here and it was AMAZING. Unfortunately - liquidation = this business no longer exists. Spent $23 , left with more than I could carry

What an exquisite shop. I went to the Mayors for an appraisal. Exceptional service and delightful experience.

Recently I needed to move my grandmother from her apartment to an Assisted Living Community. She had antiques, paintings and miscellaneous objects d’art that she could not take with her. I am from out of state and had just a few days to empty her apartment and move her. The owner Craig Mayor provided me the services I needed to get the move done. He educated me on the things my grandmother had and then made arrangements for the purchase of the things he wanted, emptying of the apartment of the things he did not want and packing and sending paintings to my home. This made the move so much easier. It was hard to see the things that had been in the family leave but so nice to know they would be well cared for until they found a new home. The store is gorgeous with everything so carefully orchestrated for best display. I will definitely tell friends visiting southeastern Florida to visit this special place. I could not be happier with my experience working with Decorative Arts and Antiques.

When selling my parents home in Tamarac, I called several arts and antique dealers for estimates and appraisals on my mothers collections. Decorative Arts and Fine Antiques has beautiful furniture, porcelain, art, and accessories. They have some some of the best quality antiques in South Florida. Craig, the owner, is very knowledgeable and reputable. His inventory turns often so there is always something new to see in his shop.

Ive been to upscale, fine antique shops all over Florida (and around the U.S.) and Id have to say Craigs shop ranks at the top in terms of beautiful, decorative items and true antiques that are priced very fairly. His inventory is constantly changing and the most prominent families in South Florida consign or sell to him so he gets the best stuff! Best of all, hes an extremely nice person (as is his son Chris at Abington Auctions - a GREAT auction house) and they make you feel very welcome in their shop. I recommend them all the time.

Highly recommended!Craig and his son, Chris, worked with us to buy the furniture, art and antiques from our moms house after she passed away. We liked the fact that they do auction for art and the smaller items and that they have a storefront for the antique furniture. They were so knowledgable, fair in pricing, efficient in getting it all moved out the same day and in writing the check! They were such nice, friendly people that the whole thing was an enjoyable experience that we have fond memories of!

Absolutely outstanding! I can’t say enough incredible things about Craig Mayor and Abington Auction Gallery (including their staff and even the moving company they use). I recently consigned a Ralph Lauren coffee table and an 18th century campaign desk with them and at auction time we had 8 different bidders on the table and 6 on the desk. We sold them for over 40% more than we expected. Look no further if you need an auction house for your furniture, jewelry or valuables. They are easily the best in Florida and their auction internet presence both nationally/internationally are considered at the very top of the first tier sellers. Highly recommend!

Where it feels good to go regularly ........ in my case once or twice a month. Everytime,the welcome is warm and eager. To each of my questions, an answer.You feel invited to spend all the time you want to enjoy. The merchandise renews itselfregularly ..... with each of my visits, there is something new. The shopping experience is alsonice and easy. I chose a Swedish glass piece on my last visit and I was toldhanded over without asking for a fifty dollar bill because in the packaging, the ownerrealized he had the wrong price. Occasionally there are auctions and Ipromise to get there. Truly a great address in Fort Lauderdale.
