Some items are on the insane expensive while other acceptable. The store is super nice as they have a good selection of GA stuff for immediate availability. A few nice flight simulators and headsets you can try and some hardware, as well... Probably the nicest aviation store in the SouthEast.

Not knowledge and Really rude staff. Big shop. Little overprice.You will find everything that you need, some things a little over price.The shop is great, you have everything that you can imagine. However if you need something and you are not really sure about it, or which brand or you are just planning to do a gift I strongly recommend you to find another pilot shop where the staff is knowledgeable and helpful (full of them in southflorida), if not you will finish in this shop looking for the specifications in google.In the other hand, is must shop to visit if you are a pilot and you have free time.

My son is starting Flight school for his PPL and of course he needed the essentials, so off to Banyan Pilot Shop at the Ft Lauderdale Executive Airport, FXE. If Banyan doesnt have it, you probably dont need it. We were greeted by Erin P, and she exceeded our expectation of excellent customer service. She answered our questions with expert advise, gave a thorough demo of the items we selected. Erin is a great asset to Banyan Pilot Shop. We will return.

Very fun place to just stop by and look. Windows look right out onto the flight line of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Lot of interesting items on sale including clothing, piloting gear. There is even a cutaway plane cockpit and cabin in the store.

I live 5 minutes from this store and didnt know it was there! Largest store full of toy planes, t shirts, flight simulators and a lot more. Great for kids! I sure became a kid while browsing. Amazing experience and super nice staff. Highly recommended!!

Im new to flying and have bought a couple of things here so far, and I still have a few more things to buy! The store is full of things you need to things you dont need....but want! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and are willing to give their advice on products. Im training at Fort Lauderdale Executive, so Im sure Ill be in there quite a bit!!

OLD SCHOOL pilot shop...So refreshing to see and touch before you buy. Had a fantastic selection and sold it with a smile.... We will be back.

Kid in a candy shop! Came in to purchase the Bose A20s just a few days ago before returning back to UK. Overall, very impressed! So organized and everything is displayed pleasantly. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and courteous, and responded to all of my questions with a smile and confidence. Cant ask for much better than that. If I come back to the United States, I will look forward to making another trip here. Job well done!

My friend and I were really pleasantly surprised at the amount of food and the quality of food that was presented at the food festival this year. Looking forward to next year around the same time to fill my belly. The pilot shop has a very nice selection of clothing.

Top 5 FBO in US. 10/10 would recommend! Staff is always kind, pilots lounge, couches, big fish tank, free coffee machine and water, vending machines, candy bowls. Great service. My dad is a helicopter pilot and uses this FBO frequently. Try them!

The best store in the planet for all the airplanes goodies. The customer service is so good, they are so friendly and give you all the best service that you can have. This place truly lives up to its name being the Worlds Largest Pilot Shop. A wide selection of pilot supplies ranging from bags, checklists, handheld radios to headsets, books, and other knickknacks and even aircraft supplies such as oil, towbars, chocks, etc etc.The flight simulator community is also covered as they also sell desktop flight controllers from a basic yoke and throttle system up to separate units for rudder pedals, additional throttles, radio units, and the like.Toys for the young ones with a passion for Avaition are also available here at Banyan Pilot Shop.I would have given the full 5 stars... but the reason for not doing so is that some items are a bit overpriced.All-in-all this is the best experience I have had at a pilot shop. Ive shopped at a few others and the selection here at Banyan is all-encompassing.

While the shop itself is quite impressive, on two occasions I have found the service to be very sub-par. Both the lady and the gentleman receiving clients need to learn how to do proper customer service. Just try asking them a question or two and you will see. They respond with attitude and like they are going so out of their way just to answer your question. This happened on 2 occasions for me. Maybe its because of my skin color?WORST SERVICE EVER!

Fantastic pilots store

Its a great pilot store. There are not many in the area. The staff is very good, friendly and helpful. The store is clean and they have a good amount of stocked items.

Banyan is just incredible! They opened up the pilot store on a Sunday before normal business hours so that we could buy a current Jacksonville Sectional Chart. A beautiful world class facility with really nice staff.

I was lucky enough to find a used bose headset in this store , and it was in mint working/physical condition. I think they even replaced the ear pads and the batteries in it before they put it out for sale. Cynthia helped me during my visit and she was more than helpful and nice to me while I shopped around. I look forward to coming back.

Pleasant store, but questionable return policy on some items. Do your homework on pricing when you shop.Since learning after purchase, on receipt, that items are unreturnable, regardless of used or not, expired or not, the only recourse left is dispute through the credit card- quite unfortunate, but thanks to efficient credit card policies, customers are protected from such sub-standard business practices hiding behind façade of safety.

Over the years I have visited the pilot shop and always hope the situation will improve. But to no avail. There is poor customer service, never greeted when arriving, I sometimes have to find somebody to check me out and what is most frustrating is that hardly any of the staff know what is even in their store. This last time an employee was with a customer about 15 feet away and asks if I’m being helped (which for 20 minutes I was not) and I asked a simple question and all I got was a blank stare. Even McDonalds has better staff training and customer service.

Huge pilot shop that has to be seen to be believed. I had no trouble finding anything. I was only in Fort Lauderdale for a couple of weeks but the shop had all the sectionals, updated pubs and maneuvers guides I could ask for, on the fly. I wish there was a shop like this one back home.

Went this morning and bought Stratus GPS. I had a lot of questions. Staff member was very helpful and courteous and patient with me... I went first to Wayman Pilot supplies at North Perry and the kid there was more interested in his Instagram or Snapchat than helping me... He even seemed bothered by me being there.. So I left and bought it at Banyan . Thank you for your service Banyan!! Ill be back!!!

Seems like a good place upon first entry. However:-Return policies are archaic (caution sectional/AFD/TPP users).-There is an incessant recurring high pitched sound produced from one of their headset systems, capable of driving people insane if heard for more than 10 minutes.-Rude treatment from management, even after having been loyal customers for more than 6 months. Agents refused to sell my father and I TPPs and Chart Supplements for cash or card. (Why?) These are necessary for a checkride in 2 days; now I have to find somewhere else to go.-To top it off, prices are steep.I realize some have had positive experiences here, and had these issues not compounded, the review would not have been this critical. At the very least cordial treatment should be a standard.Im expecting to be on their persona non grata list for this, but at this point the extra effort is worth it.

This store is soooo coooool!!! If I lived closer to this store I would be going there all the time. It is a clean store with a variety of inventory that is always helpful. I really enjoy the headset section because it allows for a potential buyer to try on the headset before purchasing which can enhance the buyers confidence in that item.

Terrible customer service for online shoppers. A guy named Donald told me he was doing me a favor, helping me when he was actually trying to fix the mistake HE MADE on an invoice. And to top things up, he even had the guts to ask me What do you want me to do? instead of offering me solutions. And this is because I spent approx. $400 at this store. Imagine if I had spent less money.

The place has a lot of pilot supplies that many other pilot shops lack. Plenty of useful books and other material.

Twice now, months apart, I have gone to this shop and they dont have any local sectional charts. Kinda like going to a department store and them not having any pants. Just get your stuff online rather than wasting the time and effort of coming here, because they clearly dont see the point of keeping essential supplies in stock.

Very good selection for aviation related items , however a bit on the pricey side when compared to other pilot shops and amazon for the books , shop around and check before buying , otherwise it’s a very clean , neat and well organised aviation store

Cuatomer service was horrible, they dont greet you, the young girl at the register didn’t even said anything the fact that the previous transaction was taking long, she didn’t even mentioned anything for the waiting. Is not just about customer service because no one came to ask me if i needed any help, but no manners whatsoever,not even a hello.
