I received a call soon after ordering stating she would have it ready to pick up in 25 minutes! I got there just as they were closing and an employee got my order for me before closing. Love this music store. Have rented and purchased several instruments for my kids here. The quality is always great. Have had 1 instrument repaired at no cost as advertised with their protection plan. The music selection is very good. Can have pretty much anything ordered but have always been able to find what I need in store from beginner sheet music to advanced theory. The staff is by far some of the best Ive encountered at any music store; helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and always cheerful, even through COVID!

Stopped by here to find a music book for a violin. A big online retailer messed up sending it to us twice. Staff here was able to order it and have it within a week.Look forward to being back when we need supplies and such for the violin.

Wish they had a more diverse selection of Violins in terms of price to purchase Settled on a rent to own violin. Pricing for those are good. Only 25 a month or a little over 1000 if buying that outright. The person who helped me said they were beginner/student Violins but they are technically intermediate Violins with the features they have, so student to musician. Highly recommend. Good deals on everything else.The guy who helped me catered to my needs. Was not too knowledgeable about violins and was honest about it rather than trying to get be to get something out if my budget. Really awesome for him to be that truthful. Definitely coming back.The violin I got was made exclusively for the store and its an awesome one. Very warm and rich sound, can get pretty loud too. Really recommend it

I took my flute in for a complete re-pad (Straubinger pads), clean, and adjust, and Angela did a fabulous job! Very reasonably priced too. My 25 year old flute looks and plays like new.

Products are heavily marked up, sometimes even twice as much as they should be selling for. Several years ago I purchased a Hercules stand for my instrument and it cost $52. I checked online a couple months later for the same product and it was only $30 on Amazon or through Guitar Center. The only thing decently priced is reeds. Shop elsewhere for music, products, and even instrument care.Repair shop is okay for emergency repairs, but nothing more than that. The pads they use are really cheap and the quality of the repairs is sub par. They put a pad that was too large on my instrument, causing a hum, so I had to bring the instrument back in. Take your instrument to a well-established technician who will do it right and outlast the so-called repairs they perform here, saving you money in the long run.

Very friendly, very knowledgeable! Too my daughters Viola in to get a string replaced and before I got to the counter they were asking me how they could help. They replaced the string and gave it a tune. Someone else too care of me paying the bill while the other tech was still finishing tuning it. Very prompt and friendly service!

I have been a loyal customer of this shop for over 7 years. Since I moved to Colorado, Im always looking for a reliable, cheap, music store selling high-end product. They have one of the best selection for instruments in whole Colorado. Really amazing customer service and they always offer me assistance. I recommended my orchestra about this store and now the whole orchestra purchased and renting their instruments from this store. They all satisfied with the payment plans Boomer has.

The music store itself is great. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend it, especially for someone looking to buy a drum set or guitar. They also do the best rentals in FoCo.I would just like to mention that the lesson rooms owned and rented by Boomer are in poor condition - stained carpet and peeling paint.This is absolutely a great place to buy instruments, but I would love to see the management do a little bit more for the rest of their space.

Over the years Ive purchased many percussion items...sticks, heads, etc....Ive always relied on the expertise of the owner to steer me to exactly what I need.

The reason I give this a one star is because the website is horrible! I don’t live super close so I like to look on the website before I go and it is no help to me. The store it’s self is great! Very nice workers and everything thing you need. The only problem is their website could use a lot of work!

Really knowledgeable and helpful people here. The fact that I can rent quality student instruments from Boomers for as long as we need and then later apply that rental money to an upgraded instrument is so helpful. My son ended up with an instrument hes really happy with! He loves to practice!

We made an appointment to get our bari sax looked at and to get it repaired and drove 3.5 hours to the store when we got there we were told oh no we have to put it in a bag and let it set in our store 5 days then we can look at it and decide if we can fix it or not. that was never told to us on the phone before we made the drive. the person was a total jerk and could careless about or sax I would never recomend using boomer music for any work they just dont understand the meaning of customer service

Nice enough place, but geared primarily for band and orchestra and general percussion; dont go shopping for guitars there but you can get your ukulele fix there.

It was pretty great. I got my trombone fixed for a reasonable price, and bought accessories for almost nothing. Although I had a little trouble with the employees, it was still a nice experience.

This gets 5 stars because 17 stars wasnt available. We went in for my daughter who needed a list of supplies for a class that started 30 min later (parenting 101 obviously). A woman there made sure we got out of the store and to class on time. Thank you!!!!!

Consistently great service and usually have exactly what I am looking for with my family of musicians.

They repaired my saxophone in a timely fashion and it works as good as new now! The technicians were knowledgeable and whoever answered to phone was very helpful and polite.

Nice place with more singing books than any other store. Accommodating practice rooms but you cant practice drums for long because of the coffee shop right next to it up above.

Unfortunately, they no longer carry the brand names at I was familiar with them carrying. But they were immediately helpful as soon as I walked through the door.

Boomers has been my go to music store for years. They carry quality instruments to rent or buy. They have lots and lots of sheet music. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Boomer music seems to be a decent place for instruments. We went for a percussion set (bells+snare+ stand.) when we first arrived there was this awful smell from the overcrowded amount of people, and nobody was willing to help, and when we were, we were told that the “bell kit” costs $400 and the “snare kit” costs $400. Sounds way overpricedEspecially considering that normally this would cost around $400 for a full percussion set, not $800. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Amazon percussion kit costs around $300. Overpriced for the amount.
