Hank and Richie really made my experience warm and welcoming. I never look forward to these types of errands but I left in a better mood than I came in with. Super friendly and down to earth team. I live in Estes park so I have a few options of car toys to make “on my way” to anywhere but S college is somewhere Im more than willing to drive out of my way for (:

Its been probably 10-12 years that I bought my first item. We needed to upgrade a car stereo this week and just wentto Car Toys and everything went good as before. I will continue usingCar Toys as long as need so car toys. 5 star all the way

Up front installation costs or additional costs associated with the product(s) being sold. The fact that you say the stereo comes with free installation is a bit misleading when you charge to install the installation kit. The installation kit was very disappointing as it did not relocate some factory installed switches (traction control, hazard, etc.) They are now hidden/covered by the screen.One would think that if a car stereo kit comes with a rear view camera, the installation of the camera would be included. A $339.00 stereo with “free installation” ended up costing me over $1,000.00.On a side note though, my window tint came out amazing. 5 ⭐️ for that service.

Went into car toys in 2019 looking to buy a new stereo and speaker system got the speaker system installed and never the stereo.They told me they would instal the stereo once they ordered a new piece that I needed to instal it, they never ordered it and I was stuck paying for a stereo that was never installed as now I have to pay 1800 dollars because I was lied to and was told that I could not return it worst place ever never going back in my entire life.

I brought my truck to Car Toys for the first time to have my front end camera and driver’s side puddle light repaired. As soon as I walked through the door I was immediately taken care of and within 3 minutes Brooks had my truck keys and pulled my truck around back into their shop. Less then 30 minutes later I received a call from Brooks telling me what the issues were and how he resolved these 2 issues. I went to pick my truck up and I was checked out immediately. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Car Toys and Brooks!10/7/21-I purchased a new remote control for my remote start and tried to pair it myself to no avail so I called Car Toys to schedule an appointment. I spoke with Tyson and he said to bring it on in with no appointment and he would get my truck in to pair the new remote to my remote start. I stopped in and Tyson came out himself worked on pairing the new remote and the 2 original remotes in the parking lot! Tyson knocked this task out within 10 minutes. I ask him what I owed him and he said, “no charge”. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Tyson at Car Toys!

I went to cars toys kind of knowing what I wanted to achieve for a sound system but needed some help! The manager Tyson K and the assistant manager Brian W, help me choose on what door speakers, I should go with. I then decided to add a subwoofer and amplifier. I was in Boulder hoping to get the same customer service…. High hopes and it was like make a sale and get the customer out of here. After installing the amplifier the door speakers weren’t performing like I was hoping so I returned to the car toys in Fort Collins with the same help from the listed people above. I was told the amplifier I bought from Boulder is pretty much under powering my door speakers. They then did and exchange for a better one that would not only power all my door speakers plus an amplifier! Now installed and everything sounds amazing how it should. Items I bought are: PAC armppro for integration, JL 12 shallow mount focal door 6x9. I highly recommend this car toys and the listed people above. Great customer service! They went above and beyond!!

As soon as I walked in I was put off. That was only made worse when the gaggle of guys, all staff, barely looked over. Instead they continued their personal conversation.I wandered around, aimlessly, as I had no idea what I was looking at. After being ignored for about 15 minutes, I left.HORRIBLE customer service. Not one... Single.... Word... Was spoken to me the entire time. I have worked in the customer service industry my entire working life, this was NOT customer service.

One star, only because I cant do zero.We went in today ready to purchase a complete car stereo system.There were 4 or 5 guys standing at the counter when we walked in. We were not greeted out acknowledged in any way.We wandered around for 10-15 minutes and still not a word from anyone.We walked out without ever being spoken to.Needless to say, Car Toys will not be getting our business.

This place is great, rather than ordering from Amazon, honestly check here first. They had everything I needed for my Tacoma in stock! During this time of manufacturing / shipping delays and backlogs, this place is amazing! I don’t know how they had it all, but they did. Quite frankly I paid less for a Kenwood deck here than I would have paid if I would have ordered one online and would’ve had to wait forever! Seriously check this place out if you haven’t already! I’ll be back for sure. The even have boat speakers and such. Perfect place for Colorado, love it.

Stopped by to get some LED headlights installed. Was impressed with the quick install and appreciated the excellent customer service. We made an appointment to get my car tinted and plan to do the same with my wifes car when we can.

I came in there and bought a sound system for my Jeep. I had no idea what was compatible so I just asked for the good stuff that’s going to make me go deaf in my 40s. My man Brian hooked it up with all the products I needed and made sure they would all fit. Then the installer, Jon, did a phenomenal job and it’s sounds even better than I thought. If you have some extra cash laying around and want to upgrade your commute these guys will make sure your money doesn’t go to waist.

While the people are nice they are not telling you the truth. They will tell you what you need to hear to get the sale and then fail to follow through. After 20 minutes discussing a specific scheduled installation time and being told it would take 1 hour, we took it in on time and told it would be done some time before 8pm and that they do not do appointments. So they made the whole appointment junk up and wasted more than 6 hours of our time. Save yourself some time and find someplace else to buy your car stereo needs

For a 90$ Detail/ cleaning all they did was wipe my dash and doors down and some oz air clean. They missed some stuff on my dash.. didn’t vacuum or carpet clean at all.. pulled my passenger floor mat back to cover up some stuff I brought it in to be cleaned in the first place. Seats weren’t touched either highly unsatisfied. Will not recommend

I was happy with the service up until the radio was placed in my vehicle which caused my headlights and gauges to blink off and on randomly. I immediately let them know when I picked up my vehicle, not days later. I was given the run around, even told that my vehicle was doing this when it was brought to them, it was not. They eventually told me I had to pay a mechanic to tell them it was their fault, it was, have the paperwork and pictures from the shop I took it to. If they had just checked their work that day it would have been discovered that a part they put on was faulty. They have lost a customer all because they would not double check their work.

Missed my installation appointment on a tuesday. Even under understaffed pressure these hard working guys got me in first thing a few days later as well as getting it done right away. Seriously impressed with this location. Good job guys, Ill be back for sure.

We came in to buy a remote start kit for my daughters car. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Tyson was awesome to work with and we will most certainly be back for any other Car Toys.

A few months ago I had a few upgrades put into my truck. I was pleased with the process but I must say I am more pleased with the way this store has treated me since. I had a couple of minor issues, things that needed to be straightened out, and they handled everything professionally and courteously. After a couple months somehow the wire to my bluetooth microphone got cut, I think it got snagged on something and wore down over time. Without any trouble the Tech at the Fort Collins location found the issue and got the wire replaced no problem. Thank you Car Toys, I am very happy with your service!

SO so grateful for their willingness to help me out any time I need it when my subs start acting up. They’re very knowledgeable and give amazing advice if certain situations were to ever come up and how to deal with them so you don’t have to make a special trip up there if not necessary. It was a little pricey to me when I first got them installed, but it’s honestly been worth every penny to know I can go to them with small things and they’ll fix it, even with no appointment. I will always recommend them to anyone wanting to make their car sound system better!

Limited staff and limited hours making it difficult to acquire what I needed for my vehicle. They are willing to help locate and sell merchandise but installation is awaiting game. I sure hope a resolution comes soon for the pandemic. It makes getting basic needs satisfied a difficult challenge at best.😞

I went in cause the amp I bought privately wasnt working and they took it and said it was getting power but it wasnt putting out any sound. I took it to the pawn shop I bought it at two days ago and talked to the woman that sold it to me and she hooked it up again and it worked like it did when I first bought it. It worked for her no problem and they didnt show me they just told me it didnt work...

Very disappointing. Just wanted a simple detail job , showed an employee what I wanted done and specifically mentioned the trunk, which wasnt touched at all. Just needed a simple vacuuming. Doubt if it was even opened. Spot on seat that I easily removed with my fingernail following the job. Paid roughly $150 for a really mediocre job. Will not be returning and cannot recommend them. Am a senior and really feel they took advantage!

Ordered in VERY cheap undercarriage lighting for my auto, Controller melted down-actually melted a hole in the housing-when I got car home and turned lights on. VERY poor workmanship on the install-tech installed the function box on my lower dash, the inside side panel held master controller and stuck out and over left floor foot rest, definitely a poor install-this install was sublet to them from my auto insurance, extremely high price for cheap unit....remote for unit looked like a Dollar Store childs toy...!!!Positive note...All store personnel very nice!

Under no circumstances should you use their interest free financing option through snap finance. It was explained to me that I would be paying only the remaining balance, of what I spent, over 12 months. I even clarified this with the employee before setting it up. I was told that there were no additional fees or hidden fees. Well, that was a complete lie on the employees end. Rather than paying the remaining $600 and some change on my balance, I am paying over $1,400. Thats double the value of the products in the first place. That is just bad business and false advertising, pretty crooked if you ask me

I just recently bought a car and Hank and Tyson were incredibly helpful. Tyson answered all my questions about the car stereo system and backup camera options and Hank was able to walk me through how to use all those options once it was installed. It was a one-stop shop! I brought in it at 4:00 pm and it was done by 7:30 pm that same day. I was so glad to have such a great customer service experience. They even sell weather tech mats there! They ordered it for me and as soon as it comes I can pick it up. Ill definitely come back there for all my car accessory needs.

Before you buy somebody a gift card to car toys make sure they have one close by, you cant use them to purchase merchandise online. I got a promotional discount for signing up for emails but was not able to use it because I could not make my purchase online. It wasnt much ofa price difference but its the point. Funny youre able to buy gift cards online.

Three issues (still having them) will install . asked to fix it and then in top of that wanted to still add and upgrade more items. Quited one price and the one week later quited DOUBLE the price of the same upgrade .these guy told me to fix install i would have to leave my vehicle all dat with no garuntee they could even get to it.they are all iver the place and have no care about people or mistakes..i even tipped the damn installer 50 bucks before and he STILL cut corners and now doesnt work..RUN from this place.

I resonated with him since I also have a history in the industry. He did an impeccable job on my truck (a three-month installation) and kept my excitement up through constant contact and information Including photographs and blog-posting. He is a master at tuning using super high-end equipment and is creative despite the constraints of the car audio media. Highly (HIGHLY) recommend his services and expertise.

I am a long time Car Toys customer. The Fort Collins branch is by far my favorite.I recently had some work done on my 2020 sti.-ceramic coat on entire car (paint, trim, and windows).-Ceramic tint on windows, along with a brow on the windshield.-JL subwoofer with custom box built to the manufacture’s specs.I worked with Karl (detailing manager), and the service was beyond AMAZING. Car toys uses premium products and backs them with great warranties. As for the Ceramic coating on my car. The job was done in an extremely professional manner. The product was applied flawlessly by Karl himself, and his attention to detail is unbeatable.By far my go-to shop for all car enhancing needs.

Took my car in for a complete replacement of my weak stock speakers, and a couple blown ones. Friendly and knowledgable customer service associates and audio technician, Jacob, that worked on my audio set up. Bought mid range all around price wise, and was happy with the demo of them. After install was a huge improvement! So much more clear and crisp with a decent amount of bass for what I chose. Technician also went the extra mile to hide and tuck away some annoying cam wire that I had ran along to the back cam and was just hanging there. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase! May seem pricey to some, but it was worth it for me to not have to deal with the headaches of the install, and figuring it out on my own if I had gone that route. Thanks guys!

The store carries top quality equipment with good prices (they’re always running different sales that they rotate on all their top stuff), and ask for David. This man put together a beautiful sounding, stable low end for my 2017 Grand Cherokee. I took it straight from the install bay on a road trip to camp where it was our camp sound for the week. After my install my hood was left un-latched and came open while driving down the road. My interior trim was also left scratched up with what looked like tool marks. Should have gone to Best Buy instead. They offer a cheaper install but due to COVID19 have delayed installs. Worth the wait.

I purchased a new stereo and paid for it to be installed with my sub. When I got a call that it was done, they told me that my sub had a rattle. When I went to hear it, there was no rattle, and they told me that the rattle couldn’t be reproduced so I could leave my sub in if I wanted. I decided to buy new subs anyways due to the sale they had, but didn’t feel pressured at all to do so which was nice. Andre took care of the sales end and Karl did the install. I was told it would be about 3 hours and it took 5 1/2 hours. I’m thankful for them not rushing and doing it right. The subs sound great and I felt like the whole experience was beyond excellent service. Next time I am getting new speakers, and will not go anywhere else to do so.

So I wouldn’t usually give any company a perfect 5 stars because it seems unrealistic in my opinion. However, the guys over at Cartoys, especially Tyson and Karl, exceeded my expectations completely in resolving an issue I had. I took my car to get detailed for a second time in a year, but this time some things got overlooked and the main issue I needed fixed didn’t get done. I was very disappointed and didn’t know what I should do because I felt like maybe I was being too particular. A couple days went past and I decided that with amount of money I paid, I should feel like my needs were met. So I called them up and spoke to Tyson, who was very eager to rectify the situation and got me in the next day. I brought it in and Karl, who did my detail 6 months prior, was there and I was immediately relieved because he does an amazing job. Long story short, they took care of the problem and went a little further. It’s really nice to know that there are companies out there still who care about their customers and will do what they have to in order to, not only retain business but also have integrity. Mistakes get made all the time but it’s about recognizing them and doing the right thing and this company does that so they have my respect and my business.
