I had a great experience working with Katherine! She is kind, fun, very sweet, and her alteration services wont break the bank. I had pretty minimal alterations needed for my wedding dress, but the hem line was a challenge since the lace was basically just one big piece of fabric. She hemmed the lace BEAUTIFULLY and altered a few other things for me. I was so happy with my wedding dress, and cant wait to see more pictures of it! Katherine is wonderful! She suggested the perfect bustle for my dress and completed other minor alterations. I even lost a bead while carelessly taking off my dress and Katherine had another one and fixed it. I had moments where I wondered if I had picked the wrong dress but after Katherine was finished with it I knew it was perfect. Katherine is extremely knowledgeable in her craft! She gave me multiple pricing options so I could save money of parts of my dress, while spending money on other parts that will be more seen. Katherine is SO GREAT!!! I had brought in my wedding dress and two other bridesmaid dresses and they were all done in such a timely manner and she was quick to make sure I got them back. Katherine is a spectacular seamstress and person. I had so much fun meeting her and she did a wonderful quick job of a hem for my floor length bridesmaids dress. She offered me a different type of stitch for the inside layers to save on money and she helped me out by suggesting tacking in cups into the bust to help me while I’m nursing my newborn son.

Katherine was so nice to work with! I bought a dress that was 2 sizes too big on top and then I lost weight so by the end of alterations Katherine managed to alter the top of my dress down 4 sizes! Looking at the dress you wouldnt have even been able to tell it was originally a size 16. I also had 7 bridesmaids that needed their dresses altered. Katherine was able to lengthen two of the dresses by using fabric from some of my other bridesmaids dresses and all the dresses turned out perfect! She is very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Katherine to anyone needing work done on their wedding dress or bridesmaid dress.

Im so glad that they did, because Katherine was wonderful to work with. Not only did she help me to alter my dress to perfection, she was also full of amazing advice for hair, makeup, flowers, and even things outside the realm of weddings when I asked. She wasnt pushy at all but was happy to give her completely honest opinion when I asked for it. I would trust her with any formal wear, and Im so glad shes the person I worked with to make my wedding dress happen.

She is absolutely fantastic. I got my dress super early and tried calling a few different places to find the right alteration fit for me. One woman told me I needed to get a bustier and my shoes for hemming before the first fitting! The first time I spoke with Katherine on the phone, she reassured me that that seemed ridiculous because no one even knew yet if my dress needed a bustier and suggested MULTIPLE options on hemming or not hemming the dress, which probably saved me hundreds. I had so much time that we were able to work slowly on the dress and get it right, but I am sure that even if I hadnt had that much time, the work she did would have come out perfect anyway. She was able to bring my specific dress from a 10 to a 4 (which I know now cant happen with all dresses because of the way the bust is originally designed). Shes super sweet but also honest which is greatly appreciated seems as how shes the professional and Im not. I cant wait to wear my dress on my wedding day! Its the dress I fell in love with, but even better.

For a guy to write this, you know things had to go badly. My beautiful fiance was absolutely devastated to find out that the alterations made to her one of a kind dress (her mothers), were made for ANOTHER BRIDES MEASUREMENTS! Completely ruining the dress and our attire for our special day. If those kind of details are overlooked, Im not sure how any bride to be can feel confident about coming here. Not only that, but the lady was CONVINCED, that my fiance and the bride she made the alterations for, are the same people. Had she owned up to the mistake, I wouldnt be on here, but thats some bottom of the barrel service that no one should be a part of.

I would not recommend. I had 5 dress fittings and I live almost 5 hours away. There was one day when I went in for a fitting and she had nothing done. She told me she works on the dress the day of when a client is coming in. I told her I wanted straps on my dress and that never happened because the fabric wasnt ordered in time. During the wedding I had troubles walking in my dress because she wanted to add a crinoline ruffle instead of actually taking it up. I was and still am very disappointed.
