Great little place with friendly staff. I wish their prices were better, because second and charles has the same sort of items for cheaper. In the end it comes down to either supporting a local business or getting your reading/music fix for cheap. Also their phones apparently dont work. Called three different times with two different phones. The phones pick up, let you sit in silence, and then promptly hangs up.

This place is awesome for finding quirky things to listen to. Prices can vary from great to not great (a cd i can get online on amazon new for $10 cost $18 used there) but overall I think finding this place was a win.

Godtier books, and by godtier I really do mean godtier. They have books out of the wazoo. Books upon books upon books. 250 out of 250 stars.

Its a small local bookstore/media store so definitely worth a look. They have a bunch of cool toys/electronics that are display only . Also a few tripping hazards in some of the aisles.

Love this place! Whether you’re looking for something good to read or need audio equipment repaired/replaced, this is the place to go! The folks who run the place are very helpful and always friendly to me. Plus, there are lots of books on the side that are free. Still worth a good, long look inside, for sure, but I have found some good reads outside during their off hours too!

Record head-This place has a huge selection of used records, which I prefer the used. They also had a very solid psych music from 60s-80s. Prices seemed very fair.

Great selection of music, books, and movies. I built my laserdisc and cassette collections up extensively shopping there. The staff are friendly. They repair and sell older stereo equipment which I have bought some of and enjoyed. They carry some hard to find stuff and its worth a visit to see what they have in stock. I am a frequent customer

This place is what I look for whenever I look for a secondhand store. The employees seem friendly and allow you the freedom to shop. The selection is pretty decent. Not the best organization I’ve ever seen but certainly not the worst.The reason I’m providing three stars instead of five is because of the ridiculous markup prices. I understand that this is a thrift store and they have to turn a profit so this is something that usually doesn’t bother me very much. But it’s frustrating to see so many old books with Arc or Goodwill pricetags that read $1 be sold for $8-15. This just tells me that the seller is hawking thrift stores and trying to get way more out of it which is immoral. They also obviously google every book and record that comes their way and charge whatever they see it going for online without considering the quality of the item. Sure, maybe a book sold for $30 online but it was probably in decent condition and not dirty and highlighted throughout. Maybe an LP was worth $40+ somewhere on the internet but the condition was probably a lot better than the one with a cover with bent corners and a disc with noticeable scratches. Real sellers know to account for quality. The fact that they have this brick and mortar store in a part of town that isn’t cheap to rent but charge the same amount an independent seller online would just makes me want to go home and order the item online.I’ll probably return to browse but I would spend way more if their prices were right.

This is a really fun place to shop! They have a large selection of curated vinyl, CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes, books, old magazines and maps, stereo equipment and more. The selection is always changing. They also have a cool bargain area with 25 cent items and the staff is always helpful and friendly.

Theres a great selection, and they leave stuff out for the night owls, and its super cheap. I can always find something to.read, listen to, on several mediums actually.Come to think of it theres usually more than I can carry just overnight stock is out for 25¢ to a.buck.i think.Its awesome, probably even better in the day. Kinda expensive, but there some gems in there forsure!

I take several of my clients to bizarre bazaar every week. Sometimes we just window shop and others we purchase DVDs and CDs. I have never had an issue with any purchases I have made there. I love checking out the old CDs and reminiscing about my high school days lol

Great place! Tons and tons of books, cds, records it would take you an entire week of looking around to see all the awesome things and things. Pretty cool staff, and always helpful. Browsing takes serious time so if youre looking for something in specific ask, ask and ask. Finding some things can be tricky as customers can be sort of messy and not put stuff back where it belongs. Check them out!

I love this bookstore. Expect to spend some time there, especially if you love books, old magazines, music, etc. You can find lots of awesome stuff if you are willing to dig a bit. But my favorite part is the bookshelf outside the store, open all night (good for someone on the opposite schedule of most people, like myself). You can drop off donations, pick up 10 books at a time, and keep books from the landfill. A win, win, win, in my opinion, and I always find some great reads there. Just please dont ruin this awesome service by making a huge mess or being dishonest, so it can keep benefitting everyone. Super easy to bring in cd, movies books and more for fair value so they can resell. Amazingly helpful outdoor free book rack for the community as well. They take in old receivers for record playing. Cool place, I was mostly there for vinyl, they have a pretty good selection and prices are decent, grabbed, jazz, blues, and hip-hop. The staff was friendly too, my fist visit.

For a place so cluttered, it’s surprisingly easy to find what you’re looking for. Unlike other used bookstores, you can usually come in with a book in mind and find it in the store. You’ll usually find your book for ~3.50-12.00, which I consider a decent price. You can even find some rare collectibles, but those will be higher on the price scale. Good vintage postcards and Time magazines which are cool.My issue with this place comes with the employees. This is regular for used bookstores I’ve come to realize, but the owner and workers always act standoffish. It’s worse than Book Lovers on North College; these people act as if they would be happier if you decided not to come in. They don’t have very good customer service skills and for the five years I’ve been coming, I’ve never gotten a single, “Thank you for coming in, have a nice day.” They have a requirement to use hand sanitizer when you arrive (which I have my own opinions on but won’t divulge), and can be pretty rude and harsh when you understandably overlook the bottle on the counter.Wow I just wrote a novel in itself. Like I said it’s not bad considering your time there is mostly spent without their help, and it’s pretty normal for used bookstores. It would just be nice to feel appreciated in a place I like going to so much.

What a gem. Has to be seen to be believed. Book selections for days. Then you go to the back and discover a room full of record albums and CDs. You could spend a scary amount of time and money here, but everything is very reasonably priced. Amazing!

This is a great shop! Its super crowded and that can be uncomfortable but it doesnt take away from all the great books, magazines, and records you can browse. My partner found exactly what hes been searching every thrift shop and flea market for years! I got some retro magazines and fantastic books. They also have a restaurant counter that seems to serve drinks but we didnt stop for that. Plus there was a lovely little dog following me and wagging their tail.

This place is such a gem! Every time I go here, I find an extremely interesting book. Theyve got so many records, too, and Im sure if I were a collector Id be here 24/7! They even have free coffee at the front, cool old magazines, prints, and overall a really nice, laid back vibe!

LOVELY little store! I can and have spent hours in here just looking at books and records. They also have a 25 cent outdoor shelves. Great place to sell/trade in old books and records. They give fair prices or credits for a book junkie like me. Also a great little coffee shop some days I will just go in for the coffee!

Worth the visit, lots of interesting books and items. Books could be better organized, but it has a wonderful atmosphere and great staff. Found a book I had thought Id never find in print. Highly suggest taking a look at this place.

What a neat place! You can easily spend an hour in here browsing everything. Acceptable prices, fun and kind staff and quirky items you cant find at any other store.

Just LOVED it. I could find most of the books I wanted for a very reasonable price. The merchant was so nice. Good selection of play list. Very positive atmosphere in general.

A really fun store to get lost in with always something new to discover. Employees have been both pleasant and helpful. If you are vinyl, book, or movie fan, this should be your destination. Be careful though. You may lose track of time!

I was browsing for collectible books and happened to come across a particularly fine one at Bizarre Bazaar. Kayleigh was quite helpful and very nice. I will definitely be back. The stacks there are, no doubt, full of many more treasures.

This place is hands down one of the most charming shops Ive ever entered, its got something for everyone with an interest in hobbies that thrived in older times. The staff is friendly and the items are reasonably priced. Even going and looking around was entertaining enough, they have very large selection of books, records, models, and record players seem to be their specialty.

What an amazing store! They have a great music selection that is constantly growing. Whether vinyl or CD, you are almost guaranteed to find what you are looking for regardless of how obscure. If youre looking for more of the visual media, they have a wide selection of used DVDs for youre browsing pleasure. Maybe youre looking for non-technological visual media. I believe theyre called books and they have a TON of them on almost every topic imaginable! Trust me. Just walk around and browse the shelves, see what little gems you find. You wont be disappointed. 😉

I cant say enough nice things about bizarre bizarre. its freaking awesome!!!! Used records used books refurbished vintage audio equipment, its just amazing. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The owners are super knowledgeable and pretty chill. Prices on pretty much everything is beyond reasonable. As far as the vinyl goes its whatever someone is selling used in Fort Collins so depending on your taste they might not have exactly what you want but there tends to be something for everybody. There are really good finds in there but unfortunately they know when they hack a good find and usually tack on an extra five bucks over what I would pay. Its not too much but sometimes and theyre a little to proud of the good stuff as far as vinyl goes but everything else super cheap really good condition. Everything is always in good condition or priced well if its a bit jinky. Anyway I love the place. Ive spent many of my dollars there its awesome! Twenty stars!!

Overpriced collection of old vinyl in poor condition. Huge markups on everything. Offered nothing in trade credit on gently used collectibles. I found better stuff at the flea markets for less money...

Found this gem while on a vinyl collecting trip to Colorado. With absolutely no luck finding decent used vinyl anywhere in Denver or Boulder the day before, we were very happy when we came across Bizarre Bazaar in Fort Collins. The staff was very friendly and owner very helpful. They were getting ready to put out a large vinyl collection over the weekend. Too bad we had to go back home before then. Thank you Bizarre Bazaar for the pleasant experience and free beverage!
