My favorite store in Old Town! This store has fantastic candles, soaps, and wonderful smelling goodies! I picked up some hostess gifts and some lavender oils and room sprays for our guest bedroom. Helpful, friendly sales people too!

Terrible customer service. We were treated poorly and followed around the store the entire time. It felt like we were being targeted even after my friend purchased items. The owner clearly wanted us out of there, and I will never go back.

I love coming in and smelling everything and examining just about every one of their products. Im usually not into the bath products since I have a solid regimen that already addresses my particularities, but with a store that has so much on display, Im tempted to splurge on that extra soap or lotion. The people here are also very knowledgeable and helpful. You can tell they know their products very well and arent afraid to suggest things to you!

The owner was so rude to me and the group I was with. She referred to us as “those people” and told her coworker that she’ll “get us out” while I was standing two feet away from her waiting to pay. We were followed through the store and watched the whole time. I spent $40 in her store and seriously regret it. Hopefully she looks at this review and gets off her high horse.

We were followed around the store by another employee before we bought multiple items. This owner does not know how to treat customers that dont fit her ideal clientele.

I’m sorry, did my nose die and go to heaven? Hell ya! Every scent you can think of! You want Peony lotion, soap, candles, bath salts!? Yassss! This shop is the epitome of “Treat yo self”.

EsScentuals is a sacred, coveted getaway. Once I walk in, I slow down and peruse the elegant offerings - I stop to enjoy each and every morsel because its all beautiful. I could easily fall in and never come out....Step back in time; the shop is quaint and beautiful and old - combine it with the newest and most gracious adornment to be found.

I always loved Escentuals when I lived in Fort Collins and fell in love with a Tokyo Milk perfume while I was living there but wasn’t able to find it when I moved back to Memphis. First of all, their customer service goes above and beyond. They mailed me my favorite perfume and it was beautifully wrapped and came with a few samples of other perfumes from the line and a lovely handwritten note. I will forever be loyal to the ladies at Escentuals!

This store is so cute and they had exactly what I was looking for! Prices were good and I wish I had more time to look around! I will definitely be going back!

If you are a guy looking for a wonderful gift for your significant other it can be found at Escentuals. Ive been going there for years. Be sure to ask the staff for their recommendations. They are always very helpful and courteous and will suggest items you never may have noticed, that are perfect.

This place is a Fort Collins classic. You owe it yourself to check it out.

This place is SO CUTE! i work right next door at white balcony & its my all time favorite store to go into. they have a huge variety of different bath bombs, scent bags, bubble baths, etc. they ladies that work in there are sooo sweet too and always give me good vibes. helpful and not salesie what so ever. this place makes me feel at home & makes me want to stay in there for hours. i seriously cant stay out of this place. prices are great, products are great, people are great. overall would get this a highly recommended store to tell all your girlfriends and family about! 💘

While I think this is a nice shop with unusual items, there are other establishments in Old Town Fort Collins, with just as many unique items, better customer service and return policies. Esscentual’s return policy and how they inform their customers of it, needs serious revamping.I live in Fort Collins and wanted to share the Old Town shopping experience with my sister and her family from Dallas, TX. The day before Christmas I brought them to do some shopping in Old Town. We stopped at Esscentuals, and my sister purchased some items for gifts, without ever being told of the stores return policy.She decided several days later she wanted to return some of the items, because she had found something else. We looked at the receipt and there was nothing on the receipt regarding returns. When we tried to return the items for a full refund, December 28 we were told they would not do a return, only a store credit. We explained that there was nothing on the receipt as to their policy and that a store credit would not benefit my sister, since she lived in Dallas. The young sales clerk went to ask the owner/manager about doing a return. She said no. When we once again reiterated about there being nothing on the receipt about returns, the female clerk pointed to a piece of paper under glass at the check out counter. We told her we never saw the policy. The day we purchased the items, the counter was covered with knick-knacks the store was trying to promote and sale.The return policy sign was not visible, because it was covered with these items.I was so sorry and embarrassed for bringing them to this business, as my sister was very upset. This is extremely bad customer service and not the professional way to run a business. Its really unfortunate that this merchant was more interested in making a profit, than taking care of the customer. What ever happened to the slogan, “The Customer is Always Right?” Needless to say, this business has lost me as a customer, and furthermore any of my friends or family that visit from out of town/state. I will also be informing all of my friends locally what type of business this is.
