I went there to get a smog check using there mail coupon, and all I got for 2 days was that the smog machine was out of order! COME ON REALLY!! They said to check back tomorrow (for a 3rd day). So I was done!...It was obvious they just did not want to honor the coupon, and it just was not worth there time $$ wise for the discount, I am pretty sure of it. Stay away from this place!! There are better and more professional places to go that will actually help you, not frustrate you! They just use the coupons to get you in there! Typical bait and switch!!

I do not know whats up with these reviews but either it was in the past or currently, does not matter cause this shop is well rounded! To my opinion, in all aspects: performance and customer service. I came in for a smog and left very satisfied. Highly would recommend others.

I went there to get my fluids (transmission, steering wheel, brake fluids ) change and when I checked at home, the fluids were still dark like if they never changed it. Took my car to a honest mechanic and to find out they never change my fluids on my car. It’s really disappointing that people can’t do their job and just rip off people. Be careful coming to this place and check your oils when you get home.

Called Purrfect Auto Sercice for a quote on a Saturday. They gave me a great price for my suspension job quote. Fast forward 2 days for appointment time and dropped off car, 2 hours later I get a call trying to justify more than doubling the original quote because they didn’t ask what engine the car had. I never knew an engine could cause a suspension quote to double but whatever, visit this shop only if your desperate and will take whatever lies your given.

On 8/1 I went in for a full synthetic oil change. 1 month later change oil light comes on I check my oil and it’s extremely black. Haven’t even driven 2500 miles yet which makes me believe they never changed my oil. Full synthetic lady 5000 miles !!! Never going back there again.

These guys did an honest job on my truck. They offered options and prioritized the repairs to be done. The financing options are really helpful. Lets be honest people, nobody likes to spend money on car repairs....but wehave to! Theres a thing called LABOR COSTS for having someone else perform a job you cant perform yourself. The manager helped solve an issue I had with my Groupon purchase that another employee wouldnt honor. I had great service the first time I came here for an oil change and was disappointed about my return for a smog check but the manager who helped me in the first place made it all better thank you so much and I appreciate you helping me out will be returning but only to the same manager

Very bad experience. Paid almost $500 for brake job, within weeks the brakes are grinding. We take the car back, they say the brakes they installed were defective. They replace brakes. Parts are free because the brakes they had initially installed were defective however, charged me labor again. Within a few weeks again!.We Take it back they state nothing is wrong with the brakes. I continue to hear the grinding. I call them they say brakes need time to settle in and tell us to Wait a few months. Now they are worse. I take it back they want to charge me almost $800 to change the brakes because now its damaged the drums and rotors. While Im there another customer is complaining that he paid over $800 for his air conditioning and it still blowing hot air after 4 visits back to this place and still same problem exists. The person helping both of us says hes the owner and that he had to fire all his mechanics because they were having too many customer complaints. However, instead of offering to fix my problem with my brakes due to the bad work their mechanics did he wants to charge me almost $800 more. As we continue talking to him trying to reason with him, he changes his title and says hes not the owner after all, he is only the manager. I ask to speak to the owner he says the owner never speaks to customers, and that he, as the manager makes all the decisions there. I ask him to have the owner call me. He refuses. He then goes on to say he fired the guy who was running the counter due to missing money and thats why he is running the front desk too. And according to him, thats why he is running everything yet he still refuses to have the owner call me. It is truly a rip off. I Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. They take advantage of their customers and even after admitting they had to fire all their mechanics for bad work they will not offer to fix their mistakes instead they want to continue charging more $. in conclusion he said I will no longer speak to you, only to your husband! Ive been married before and I know how women are RUDE

A towing service dropped off my car to this Purrfect and I was called by the manager to see if the vehicle was mine and what was wrong with it. The car wasnt starting and it was sitting on my driveway for a few months so I told them I dont know much about it and it may just be the battery or starter. They called me back right away and told me that the alternator was the problem and they needed to replace it and then check further for any other issues. I told them to go ahead with the work and let me know. After one or two hours I got call letting me know that the car was running and ready if there wasnt anything else I wanted done on it. I was happy and surprised that I didnt have to spend anything more than a very reasonable price for a new alternator. I got them to also do an oil change on my car before I went down to pick it up and the cars been running great ever since. Thanks guys!

I came upon this listing to post a review and found other past reviews..Its clear that that some former employee is just venting out here and the reviews from a year ago sound like the same person too..I just went there and it didnt even occur to me that it was some family run business or such - they had ASE certified mechanics and they even do smogs there so why would they send smogs elsewhere?I went for an oil change and it looked busy, and everyone being signed up seemed like they were in the system already and were just leaving their cars for repairs & some were even getting a shuttle ride back home!The office seating area was a lot cleaner than many places and they had HD channels playing too - maybe the place got renovated who knows - but my experience was just like the others seated there: comfortable. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for an all-round decent place!

Update 10/15/2017:Filed complaint with BAR who negotiated $90 settlement with Purrfect Auto.Turned it down since it covers the non-replaced parts only without the charge for non-rendered labor.Reported the issue to credit card company. It investigated and then issued $195 credit refund which should cover the charges for both fictitious parts and labor.Parts/Labor Charged Not InstalledMy 2003 Mitsubishi Galant 2.4L developed some ignition/idling issues, probably related to falling spark plugs. I sent the car to Purrfect Auto Service for diagnosis and repair on 02/14/2017.The shop gave an estimate of $745 including tax to replace 2 ignition coil packs, 4 spark plugs, valve cover gasket, wire set and cleaning fuel injection system. I approved the cost and the repair was done on the same day. An invoice (#43011) was issued claiming all the parts were replaced as prescribed.The engine still runs a little rough at cold idling of 2000 rpm. I had a relative examined the cars engine compartment recently. Here is what we discovered:Just one coil pack was replaced. The coil pack part# in the invoice is C1257. But only one coil pack on the engine has such C1257 label. Another is FL0162 which is the original Mitsubishi parts (see uploaded photos). The amount billed for 2 coil packs is $180 parts + $195 labor. The labor includes spark plugs/wire-set replacement as well.Talked to the manager over the phone yesterday (05/24). He offered to refund $90 for the coil pack not replaced, but none for the associated labor charge.I went the shop yesterday to receive the said refund and was told by the manager the check was not ready. I went there again today, he said he changed his mind and will refund nothing.My advice: Always ask to keep the old parts and verify that new ones are indeed installed if you plan to have any repair at this shop.I have not been able to upload the invoice. RATING: Extremely BadBelow star 1Very dishonest and disrespectful. They only offer excuses for all their mistakes. They repeatedly admit firing mechanics for doing lousy work yet they do not correct the faulty work and want to charge your more money. In addition, this so called manager of this shop is very disrespectful towards women.

Went to this place to get a smog check....Horrible service!! They were so RUDE!! Says they close at 6 and the technician was planning on leaving at 5:15. Had to rush to get there and when I get there, the reception guy had to convince the technician to do the test. After all that they tell me its ganna cost me $89.99. So after that horrible service and that cost, I walked out of there and Im never going back!! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

Went here for a smog...they knew the engine light was on a still smogged it...and it failed. Then sent to tell me that I had an leak in the intake manifold and it would be a 400$ repair...come to find out it was a map sensor...30$ fix...dishonest scoundrels!!!
