If I need any tools or screws or camping items this is the place to go. They have everything and anything that a normal handyman or homeowner and most contractors need. The knowledge and customer service is unbeatable at any of the big stores. I will forever shop here.

This Ace Hardware location has got to be the best there is. The selection of bolts and nut and washers is amazing, I asked an Ace Hardware Employee for help locating a specific grade bolt and he walked straight to the drawer and said this should work. I believe his name is Jim. Jim I appreciate you and your knowledge. Also the selection of BBQ sauce, spices and pellets is great. Not too mention so many other items to browse through. 1 out of 10, I give it a 10. I will definitely continue to shop here and have already suggested this store to others.

I have to hand it to these folks, their customer service is awesome. It reminds me of Home Depots old slogan you can do it, we can help, and they do. Compared to home depots new slogan - you can do it, just google it.

A great alternative to the mega hardware stores.

Favorite hardware store. Its smaller and they dont always have what Im looking for but the staff is really kind and knowledgeable. I never have to wait around for assistance. Plus this store carries my brand of spraypaint which is hard to find in most hardware stores.

I stopped in today and picked up a couple of Enoz mesh screen fly swatters and a Bug-A-Salt gun ahead of our Independence Day BBQ. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. A nice man with a beard offered to help shortly after walking in and told me they keep the Bug-A-Salt by the counter. One of the largest Ace Hardware stores Ive seen and they have a lot of products here you cant find at Home Depot or Lowes. The Enoz swatters were approximately $3 each. Amazon has two sellers charging between $6 and $12 for the exact same fly swatter. The Bug-A-Salt was $44.99 here which is the same price as the companys official site and on Amazon (because the original manufacturer sells on Amazon). This Ace had a bunch of Bug-A-Salt guns in stock where Amazon Prime couldnt deliver one until July 7th and the local Home Depot and Lowes stores didnt have a single one. Ill gladly come back to this Ace for their better inventory and to support the great people working there.

Ace Hardware has always been my place and American River is one of the best. You can always count on the employees giving you a hand explaining or finding exactly what you need. Many times I have went there and described my problem and after a bit a thought they would give me a solution. It is also a wonderful place to find that odd ball screw, nut, bolt, or other item you need to complete your project. Their prices are not always the lowest but they are competitive especially if you hit a sale. They also provide a senior discount which is always a nice perk.

Kira was fantastic, and I will be visiting this store for all my hardware/paint needs based on her customer service. She was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely professional. She managed to help us with matching paint samples, whereas Lowes did not even try - just said they couldnt help. Great customer service makes all the difference in determining where I want to shop, and if every experience at this Ace Hardware is similar, I will be shopping here frequently.

This store has an amazing team, every time I visit I can quickly find someone friendly and knowledgeable to find the items I need, as well as giving solid advice for every project Ive brought to them. After the impersonal experience I have with the big box stores, it is so nice to be in a store where I dont have to walk miles back and forth to find everything, and I rarely have to wait for help.For a store this size, the selection is impressive, and they almost always have what I need. When I do have to place an order (usually to get larger quantities for my business), they are efficient and precise on the delivery date, plus they always call me when my order is in.

Love this local hardware store. It’s conveniently located for the locals, since there arn’t any alternatives too close by, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

This location is so great! Always very friendly staff to help answer you, always clean, and the best selection of screws and bolts vs. Lowes and Home Depot, trust me, dont even waste your time at either of those if your looking for a hard to find bolt.

Ace is the place! Takes all of the pain out of fixing up the house and yard. Just add planning, and then that labor.Love the hypnotic rows of graded stainless nuts, bolts, and in this case, O-rings someone needed for something somewhere sometime. We just needed knobs. ☀️

This could be quite a Story! And well worth Five Stars! I wanted a key w/o the code chip to carry in my wallet, in case I locked my keys in the car. Eight hardwares and Two Locksmiths later I entered American River Ace! One Locksmith wanted $35-, another wanted $45-- Yes that is No Typo! So when Kira said that will be our Standard-$9.99, I about fainted! And, the key worked Perfect in either Top In or Bottom In!ACE is the Place!!

We have been looking to find a paint to match the turf that we bought. It was from an old football field and had a white stripe on it. I believe the kids name was Michael that helped us. He was super friendly and really knew what he was doing. The paint matched almost perfect.

I purchased the BOGO of the 10 Milwaukee blade on 25 Dec 2020. I have yet to receive my completed order. Heres my dilemma1. Following a critical review of the Carmichael, Ca Ace hardware, I spent over an hour round trip to store with my wife who was recovering from major back surgery as driver as I had just had major ankle surgery.Steve the store manager told me (after calling me several disgusting names in front of the cashiers and customers) that he canceled my order to pay me back for writing a critical review. My wife was mortified. I was in shock. Steve said he had the product but he wasnt giving it to me.I have never been addressed in such an immature, unprofessional, narcissistic and embarrassing manner in my 65 plus years.On top of that Steve and his den of thieves have been charging products on my credit card.

Great people, Danny is the best, hes helped me out more times than I can count. Hes delivered 2 Traeger grills and 10 (40lb) bags of pellets. Hes been a wealth of knowledge qith the grill. I love picking his brain and different types of rubs and cook methods.

Every screw, nut or bolt you could need

This Ace Hardware (Orangevale) is not requiring masks per the California mandate made by the governor two days ago. Many patrons on the inside not wearing masks. We mentioned this to the clerk at the front counter and her reply was that we were protected because we do wear masks. No, we are NOT protected by wearing masks, we protect those around us in case we are asymptomatic. We are in the high risk group for Covid but needed a repair part for our sprinkler system. We will shop at Lowes or Home Depot where they are requiring masks even if it means a further drive.

Always find someone to ask where a certain item is. Great place to go for the hard to find items. Little more expensive than the big box stores, but about a block from my residence makes it convenient for that one or two items needed to finish a project.

Love shopping here. They BBQ some Saturday’s. Stock lots of those hard to find items like belts pulls taps....... They have well stocked hardware section and other unique items. Staff is helpful and each seems have a couple specialties.

Not necessarily the cheapest, but they have a lot of employees so you can always find someone to help you understand what you need to know and find whatever your looking for. Very helpful staff and its much easier to get in and out then the big guys.
