Stumbled upon this gem by accident while in the Folsom area. Ordered online then went in for paperwork and pickup. Experience far exceeded my expectations after buying from other stores in the past. I was greeted by Ricky who was professional while still being friendly and helpful. No BS which is just the way I like to do business. Highly recommend.

I wandered around. Waiting for someone to help me.After a few minutes, eventually,a guy wandered over. And asked if I needed any help.I asked a few questions.He answered them.And I was on my wayNot a HUGE selection.But theyll probably have what youre looking for.Or a reasonable facsimile.

Just found out about these guys. What a great experience! For sure not your typical gun/ammo dealer in a good way! They have good inventory and decent prices. Then offer you honest, pressure free recommendations. I worked with Michael. He was incredibly helpful and took the time to explain the whole process. Excellent experience every time Ive been in. The staff are always friendly and help with what Ive needed. Purchases and transfers they take care of it all for you and they are up front with all fees so there arent any surprises.

An FFL back home in Florida meant to send a rifle to another nearby store in California for me, but accidentally sent it here (to Loyal Arms) somehow. And Rocky at this store was awful. He pretty much held the rifle hostage to get money from me.I simply wanted the rifle send to the correct FFL 80 miles away, and Ricky made me pay $150 to send it, and made me buy the new shipping label (another $45) to send it. It was a normal featureless rifle, in a standard sized rifle box, nothing special. He told me I would have to pay an additional $10 every day I waited.If you think this sounds normal, then you need to get a new FFL. I have a lot of experience with rifles in California, and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. And on top of all this, I had to pay him through PayPal “family and friends”. Weird, and costly experience

Disorganized; Unresponsive; Sloppy; Dont trust me? Call them, see if you can get through. Better yet, e-mail them, see how long it takes them to respond. Their auto attendant is goophy at best, and the live person at the front desk (who works for the whole building) isnt given the info to help the customers correctly. The website is full of gramatical errors - also, 1993 called, they want their website back. Waste of time - I wont be doing business with them again. Busy? Yeah, EVERYONE is busy - respect peoples time and get better organized.

Loyal Arms is a great local company. I went there for an FFL transfer, and was a bit hesitant as it was my first time buying a gun. Im glad I picked them, Ricky and all the other staff were very friendly and helpful, I never once was made to feel stupid or uncomfortable.I highly recommend them for any FFL needs, and definitely plan on coming back!

Tried to go to their location only to find an office building with a receptionist that didn’t know how to contact them that there was a customer. Then I tried calling, only to talk to a woman who didn’t even know what they had in stock when asked about a specific rifle.
