Green Acres Garden Center has oodles of unusual plants that are very healthy and suited to our local growing conditions. Blooms abound. Good place to stock up on all the potions and magic that make your garden grow.

Great Nursery for all your gardening needs plus the staff was extremely helpful or knowledgeable. If they did know a answer (Rare!!!) They got the answer... The dinner plate hibiscus and our Passion fruit vines are absolutely beautiful!

Always fun to shop for new plants! The selection is great and the prices are reasonable. (Though, it would be nice if they were closer to me.)The staff are friendly and the facility is well kept. Everything looks natural and happy. Outside is for the plants and inside is for the accessories... Fantastick place with quality green stuff. I was looking for some fruit trees and place is loaded with fall selection. I was surprised with selection. Go and check it out. Best time for planting trees, right now. Trees will settle down in ground and in spring they are ready.

Incredible selection! Just moved to the area and Ive never been to a nursery quite like this. The florals were all gorgeous. Wonderful selection of veggies and herbs as well as fruit trees. All plants were so healthy, fully stocked, and very competitively priced compared to anywhere else. The indoor selection is also great and full of really fun decor and patio furniture. Its definitely busy but you could browse this place for hours. Truly a gem!

I could spend hours here... So many gorgeous plants, flowers, trees, and things to decorate and furnish your yard! Definitely a higher price point, but the quality and selection is unbeatable, and they stand behind their plants and products.

Folsom Green Acres is my absolute favorite place to go. Im like a kid in a candy shop😍these are my latest finds from there, cant wait to pot my blue flame agave, which I have never seen before. So awesome!

I’ve been working on RE-landscaping my yards for the last two years. I have been here countless times for plants, trees, veggies, dirt and tree stakes.The staff is always so helpful and the quality of their nursery plants can’t be beat.Prices may be higher than Home Depot, but you can’t duplicate the selection or quality.Love coming here in the spring. Everything is in bloom and the garden center is packed with organic vegetables to gardening.Today was a rose bush mission. Bought about 10 hybrid teas for the yard. Can’t wait to plant them!

My son ordered over 400 square feet of sod to be delivered from the Folsom store several weeks in advance of the delivery. Fortunately he called the night before the scheduled delivery date, however, Green acres claims they had no record of the order. Come to find out they had his order but did not place their order for the sod with the grower. He spent several hours the night before trying to get the order still consummated and for the delivery confirmed and they were still three hours late the next day. The delivery staff needs training on how to operate the truck liftgate and the pallet jack as well. They were not very well trained or knowledgeable at all on how to do the basic offload. Not a very good experience.

Good customer service, a bit pricey. Quality is good, but would expect a bit more for price point.

This place is crazy amazing!! I loved everything about it, plants are beautiful and healthy. Store is clean and staff are amazing and helpful.

They were really busy today. I had to ask where specific plants were because the nursery is bursting at the seams with beautiful flowers and greenery. I got a little education about the specific plant I was looking for and they had many varieties. I was impressed.

I have always had positive experiences with green acres. People are well informed on their merchandise over all, or can find someone who is. kind of like the service, and knowledge you use to get with capital nursery or Lumber Jack.

Folsom Green Acres has the nicest staff! Came here to return a weeping cherry that never rooted and didnt survive. I was really upset that I had killed a tree. The staff worker was so kind to refund my purchase and reassure me that it does happen from time to time. She made my heart feel better about the loss of the tree. I made my way around the nursery and despite how busy they were, they had so many varieties of plants in stock. From trees to shrubs and flowers to food. This Green Acres isnt the largest one Ive been to and the plants werent organized as I had remembered other stores, but i was able to find what I was looking for easily with several staff members asking if I needed guidance while I made my way around tge nursery. Overall great shopping/returning experience.

I went with my children when was super slow, intentionally (rainy weeknight), and staff was very friendly & helpful. There was a good selection of different types of plants. We were looking for strawberries, grapes, herbs, and veggies to start summer garden, as well as some flowersfor companion planting. Found multiple varietals of all the things we were looking for. Was approached multiple times to see if we needed any help. They also offered boxes & recycled plant holders to help manage our many small pots, as well as large sheets of paper to help protect interior car from dirt. They also d a good selection on organic fertilizers & soil amendments.

My first time and I loved it! So much to see I will have to go back again. Just wish the prices were a bit lower.

This is the newest Green acres in the Folsom citrus heights area. Conveniently located behind the Costco.Its a big store well laid out and they have a lot of plants and products. They even have pumpkins now for the holidays!

Tried to return a plant within a month. Leaves completely fallen down. Spoke to manager and rep told me a new policy that I cant return. Maybe they should tell the same policy when I was purchasing. Nice try. Left the dead plant at the store. I do not want to take home again. I would have given negative stars if I have a choice.

Always exciting to spend time at Green Acres. So many varieties of plants with solutions for any spot in yard. Good selection of disease and pest control. Gift items as low as $10. And lots of unique gift or decorating items....I especially loved the Dragons that were on display this time. All decorations are constantly being updated. Green Acres is just a fun place to visit.

Fantastic seed selection, were ready for Fall/Winter gardening now! Also picked up some cute Halloween decorations. Dog-friendly, Deja Blu loved getting to come in & all the attention.

I just wanted to leave a good review for Jody/Jodie (spelling) in the house plants department. I called about a shipment of house plants to which she gave me great information, told me that they would get the shipment tomorrow but wasnt sure if they specific plant would be on that shipment but to call at a certain time and she would be able to hold it for me! A+ customer service! The reason I gave 4 stars is because the first person I had spoke with whose name Maya/Maia (spelling) wasnt helpful at all. After explaining to her what was told to me she just stated that she hadnt *heard* of any shipments. After asking if there was a way she could check or if I could speak to manager/supervisor to find out if there would be she replied in a slow and snarky manner well if she said they would be coming in on Friday, then you should check then rather than immediately getting me someone who knew or doing her job and finding out. Terrible customer service.

Great place to find plants that you are looking for. You can also find plants that are not very common. If you have a question, JUST ask any one of the workers, they WILL have your answer. I had the names of two plants I wanted to buy, but I had no idea where to start my search. I came to the first person, she not only found them but she gave me information about each one. Very disappointed in Greenacres! Since the pandemic Ive been purchasing from Green Acres and picking up all of these months! I go to put my order in today for some plants and soil and find out that theyre now charging a service fee of $15 for me to purchase from them drive to their store and have somebody come and put the stuff in my car. Very bad customer service especially during a pandemic!!! I cant believe youre the only store that is doing this I will not be shopping at your store again!

Simply put, this is an amazing store to take your family on a little mini adventure. Every employee is knowledgeable. If you ask a question they will take the time to make sure you fully understand the answer. I dont think I will purchase any garden equipment at any other store from now on. I really like this Green Acres, compared to the one located closer to Sacramento this location is better organized and has a large indoor area with a wide selection of patio furniture and grilling supplies. Both locations are great but I prefer this location.

Wow, a great place to go. Great super friendly people, and so, so many plants. You could be there for hours. Dog friendly as well. They even gave my dog treats. Again its a super great place.

Love this place. Such variety, they always have great suggestions, and I havent had any transplants fail yet.

We spent over $10,000 on patio furniture. Our patio was over $7,000 and the furniture has 2 defective chairs. They supposedly were repaired and still made noises when we got them back. They said they would order new ones and we continue to wait weeks and we still don’t have them. We asked to exchange it for another set but they refuse to. Then we ordered glass for fire pit. They promise one date but it keeps getting pushed back. Then we bought a bbq and the bbq drawer and bbq keeps getting pushed back for delivery. The sales rep makes promises and says he will deal with it and get it resolved but we never hear from him. Every time we ask for a refund they get nasty and refuse to cooperate. They are so charming when you buy something but when there is a problem good luck. You would think they would do something to correct the problem but no luck. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I am almost ready to call my credit card company and have them deal with it!

Called in advance to check stock and have them hold an item. Xavier said he would put my name on the tree when I arrived after an hour drive (which is why we called in advance) they cant find it and offed us nothing but a sorry. Went to Fair Oaks Boulevard Nursery and had the best customer service and have now found our new nursery.

We are now well into our shelter in place however green acres parking lot was full to capacity. We did a pick up purchase which was quick and easy. We parked in the assigned parking spot called the number and they brought our order out almost instantly. We already had the back popped and we never got within 10 ft of anyone. HOWEVER there were so many people wondering about and not practicing social distancing I certainly would not have gotten out of my car to enter the building. It seems green acres is far more concerned with turning a profit than safety. I shop there often and have never seen so many people there before. Including whole families. I guess they missed the directive.

Definitely on the expensive side but with some of the items quality is what counts. Some of the standard yardwork items though can be found cheaper at home depot or lowes. Excellent inventory and variety of plants. Go there for plant selection elsewhere for the basics.

Perfect and best place to buy indoor outdoor plants! Must visit!!

Huge selection of plants and much pottery. Particularly high quality but inexpensive terra cotta pots of all sizes (including 5-inch pots that are not carried everywhere) in 3 colors. I picked out some robust succulents to carry home, and some potting soil amendments (pumice, fine orchid bark) was having trouble finding elsewhere.

Excellent plants and prices. Store is huge and clean, some of the means of organizing the plants are a touch vague but overall things are easy to find. Amazing selection of seeds and houseplants. Gorgeous succulents and excellent landscaping trees, shrubs etc. Lots of new and fancy varieties as well as old classics. I didnt need planting materials or pest control but it looks like they have most of the major things I would ever need. Great selections of pretty ceramic pots and prices on everything seemed pretty fair and comparable to other places in the area.All plants looked happy and healthy, well cared for. My only complaint is I dont have enough room (or budget) for all the things I wanted to buy!Service was helpful, I did not require assistance but a few folks were getting helpful info and I was able to find all I needed with ease.

I needed assistance as I do not have a green thumb. I wanted beautiful, easy to maintain, shade loving plants. Everett was most knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He was respectful of my budget and we found some beautiful plants and planters. Eli was very polite at the check out and Colin helped load my car. All 3 gentlemen were kind and considerate. Very pleasant shopping trip to Green Acres. Ill go again & recommend them to all! 5 stars across the board!!!

Super friendly staff and well stocked store. I bought my Big Green Egg here and they had everything I needed and delivered it to my home with no hassle. Just recently we bought our Christmas tree here and it was also a great experience. The tree selection was great and they helped us load the tree onto the car.
