Quality of products and service are exceptional. Their ice cream is great, the home made chocolates and caramels are even better, and the espresso is wonderful! Definitely coming back here again.

Nothing beats some decadent dessert after a good meal. We happened to be dining in old Folsom and decided after our meal, to go for dessert at Snooks. The staff were helpful and attentive even though they were very busy. I ordered some assorted chocolates and peanut brittle. Ice cream for my nephews and gummies for my daughter. Everyone was very happy with the sweets and I will definitely return again. It was fun to see them making candy and the atmosphere of the store was very inviting. If youre in the area, give them a try. You wont be disappointed !!

The smell embraces you as you walk through the front door into a sweet lovers dream. Home made cones you can have the kids oggle as they wait thier turn for chocolate or Gunthers ice cream. We had taro(amazing), mint chocolate chip, black cherry and birthday cake. 15 dollars for 4 ice cream single cups. Staff was very helpful. Would definitely come back again.

Amazing candies! My wife and i picked out various candies to try. The staff were nice and made some great suggestions. Prices were pretty high but i was happy with the quality and the service. All the staff here have been friendly anytime weve come here, even for just ice cream. I wish they stayed open a little later but thats just Folsom.

The chocolate machine was working in full force, creating luscious candies! Its so enjoyable to view the process. Such a variety of sweets, its hard to choose. Most are sold by weight so you can buy smaller quantities and try many kinds.

I received a gift from my employer of caramel corn, toffee, peppermint taffy and truffles. They were all wonderful, but I especially liked the toffee as it had a great saltiness that really complimented the chocolate and they are not stingy with the nuts. I look forward to visiting their shop in the future.

We had a lovely hour-long conversation today with the store’s founder John about the history of the store and the candy making process. The staff were all so friendly and courteous. The candy is delicious! Best caramel chocolates ever, and the peanut brittle is incredible. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon! We will definitely be back when we come into town again.

Do not enter Snooks! You will regret it!!Upon entering, we were met with the most fragrant caramel smell that pulled us to the back of the shop where they were socially distancing some freshly coated caramel corn. My son stared at the popcorn being manipulated into sweet submission for 5 minutes without blinking.You have to understand, before this horrible situation unfolded, his heart was set on wanting ice cream. But this series of unfortunate events posed an existential crisis. His sister was now going to get caramel corn, and she informed in the most matter-of-fact way, there would be absolutely no sharing.What is a 9-year old boy to do??This awful shop, twisted our young mans mind and forced him - with no other option - to also get freshly made caramel corn which he hadnt even wanted a mere 5 minutes earlier!Terrible to subvert the hopes and dreams of children this way.We left the shop (two bags in tow) and upon arrival at our car we realized the unfortunate trick being played upon us. The caramel corn disappears! In mere minutes the bags were half empty!By the time we arrived home, the bags were 3/4 gone. We put the bags on a tall pedestal in the kitchen to keep them from wandering hands, and overnight all the caramel corn VANISHED!Shame on the entire Snooks family for perpetuating this horrible scam!

Ive been coming here since I was a little girl with my Nana and to this day, over 15 years later, its still one of our traditions whenever Im in town! I can never have enough Snooks!

We 💕 Snooks!!! We stop in almost every visit to Folsom. Freeze, ice cream, candy, FUDGE, truffles, coffee drinks.... what more do you need?? All distanced and packaged and safe. Fun to watch them make candy, too.

This place had alot of different things, from carmel apples to candy and lots of ice cream and so much more..we had ice cream and it was delicious..

You cant live or visit Folsom without going to Snooks! It is a Folsom gem. Its our go to for dessert after dinner. Our must stop when strolling Sutter Street. Its a great place to get yummy gifts for all occasions. We ❤ Snooks!

Prior to receiving Snooks C and C as a gift, I have never heard of it before... Im a Sees Candies fan and thought Snooks would be just another ordinary tasting chocolate. I was surprised and delighted how good it was. Husband works in Folsom and would be requesting him to take me to the store to sample more of their awesome chocolates.

Great chocolates and sweets. Can watch them make candies on site which is always a treat. Try the rocky road, its excellent. Must stop in if youre visiting old Folsom.

First of all, do yourself a favor and don’t leave without a bag of peanut brittle. It’s life-altering. The fudge is also pretty magical. Overall, I love the history and the quality of Snook’s chocolates (and brittles, and ice cream...). Great place to take the family.

Worst customer service ever!!! I placed a $450 order with Snooks on January 29th. They charged my credit card but didn’t fill the order. As of February 13th I’ve still yet to get the order. I ordered for employee’s at my company. It’s been extremely disappointing to not receive the gift boxes for my workers. I definitely wouldn’t count on this small business for anything that you needed on time. I don’t know when or if I’ll receive my order since they never gave me a shipping number so that I could track the progress of my order. I’ll have to make excuses to employees for not receiving their gift. Beyond disappointed!!!!

We have patronized Snooks since I can remember - my earliest memory there is probably 28 years ago. Hands down the BEST sundaes you will ever eat, I recommend the Snookerbar or Slow as a Turtle sundae. Their chocolates are beyond delicious, and will always be my pick over other local chocolatiers. Such a treat, I will never stop coming here if I can help it!

They have great candy. They were a little low on product so I didnt get my favoriate but it is all good. And I understand in these times she cant stockpile everything.

Hands down, Snooks Chocolate is by far the best place in the Greater Sacramento Area to experience quality chocolates that are hand made on site. I personally love their peanut brittle and chocolate dipped honey comb. They are located in Folsoms Historic District. When you visit Snooks, youll be delighted by their family friendly service.

Snooks is a fantastic candy store filled with awesome candies and chocolates. Great for gift ideas during the hoilday seasons especially Christmas time and Easter time. On addition, Snooks has old fashion Candy factory in the back of the store where you can see chocolate bars, Easter chocolate bunnies, chocolate Santa Clauses being made which is amazing for small children to view my boys loved this plaće when we lived in California.

This place is so cool. I think that one day they will be huge. The ice cream was amazing. Im a rocky road fan and wow was their rocky road good. They have candy and chocolates as well as ice cream. Great spot on the corner. While we were there we found a piano on the walk way and some talented kids played. A great spot for an afternoon cruising downtown and getting some ice cream. If you find yourself in downtown Folsom, you need to stop by here and check it out.

Great service and their icescream is so great! I had One about a week ago and it was really delicious! They also have other chocolates and candy! And also rapped up and placed on shelves so you can pick them up as I gift. I recommend this location if you’re stopping by in downtown Folsom!

There was a backed up line at the ice cream where 1 employee was working when 3 others where chit chatting 3 ft from me behind the candy. I think I tried 4 or 5 times over a minute or 2 to get their attention to check out with them constantly looking back at me. Eventually one walks to the register and checks me out without a single word said... kinda awkward just handing someone your purchase and card without them ever saying anything back to you... if this wasnt my mothers favorite peanut brittle place I would have just walked out without buying it at all...

Very disappointed. I like their ice cream and candy but employees were not wearing masks during a pandemic.

Been a favorite for decades. Our favorites are any kind of fudge, any nut brittle, English toffee and rocky road. Holiday divinity is amazing! Staff is very helpful and friendly.

It makes me sad to say this is very last time I will be spending my money at Snooks Candy. I have always liked to stop and by my mother a box of chocolates from Snooks for Mother’s Day. When I went in this afternoon I was treated for rudely by one of their employees. He acted as if the other customers coming in after me were more important and that I was just in the way. He treated me as if I wasn’t good enough to be in their store. I decided instead of ordering 2 more poundS of candy that I would just pay for what they had already boxed up, then I left and drove over See’s Candy and bought a 2lbs box from them instead. It’s sad to see a business not treat all of their customers equally.

A cute ice cream shop in Folsom. I got one scoop of butter pecan in a cup and its a pretty large scoop, but the price difference between a kid and one scoop was 50 cents. It felt more like 2 scoops. The butter pecan was good, fairly sweet. We also got the matcha in a cone, a cone is an extra dollar. I would come back to try other flavors, but I felt there wasnt a large variety of flavors to choose from.

Walking down the narrow historic streets of old town Folsom. A faint aroma of chocolate infuses with the cool brisk air. I began to look about and spied the glass embed store front of Snooks Candies and chocolate. We wandered in for a closer look and were pleasantly surprised by the intimate candy shop. We were able to not only buy some treats but watch the artisans create their wares.

The best chocolate!! I had some delicious chocolate covered honeycomb, so good! They have lots of fabulous, quality, gourmet treats for everyone. A wonderful gift. They also serve ice cream. Highly reccomend!

The best chocolate store in Folsom and one of the best in the whole Sacramento Region. Family owned since I was a kid when my dad first took me there. I still make a tradition to get my mother Truffles just like my father did, and now the tradition continues with my wife. I have yet to find better truffles.

My husband and I were walking around in old Folsom area when we stumbled into this cute little chocolate factory. The have ice creams , various types of chocolates. And you can see how the chocolates are made here too. That was pretty cool.We sat outside on the small benches and enjoyed our chocolates.If you are within the area, check it out.

When in Folsom, I have to stop at Snooks. Quality homemade candies from a family who cares. Cant pass up the English toffee, and honeycomb (milk chocolate) of course, a d the fact we have the same last name.

I love the peanut brittle and cashew brittle. It is so yummy. I just want to try everything in there.

Their peanut brittle is really good and they also have wonderful fudge however it just isnt the same as what my mother used to make. The owner still comes in on a daily basis but has all of his kids and a few employees other than his kids work there and follow the recipes that he started. You will surely love everything there its quite tasty and yummy delicious.

The place smells great, like fresh chocolate. Came in from the heat and enjoyed some ice cream samples, as well as some fine lemon and mango sorbets. The staff was courteous and smiles were plentiful.

I am not huge on sweets but its a beautiful place to take kids out to see and buy candy. It has an old fashioned vibe to it. Parking around the area can be a little rough especially on busy days.

Ive used Snooks for personal consumption (candy and ice cream) and gift shopping for years now, and probably will for as long as I live close by. For hand-made fine chocolates their prices are very reasonable, their staff is excellent, and their location is beautiful and situated in the heart of Old Folsom. Whether youre taking a break between gallery and antique shopping or picking something up for someone you love, I will recommend Snooks Candies.

Growing up as a kid this is where you went to get sweets when in Old Folsom, as an adult who now lives 400 miles away I still go here when in town. A 4/5 because service could be friendlier.

The people who worked there were rude. I was asking questions about the sugar free candies and was treated rudely and it was assumed that they were due to my being on a diet. Theres a much nicer candy shop down the street called Sweet Escape.

Customer service above and beyond!! Took my kids to the yummy-licious store for a late afternoon treat. They were super friendly when we walked in and very quick to take our order (a few pieces of chocolate and some ice cream). Definitely a great place to take families, bright and cheery interior, very clean and organized.

I love this place and have been going there since I was a child. The staff is nice and its a great place to pick up some truffles to go with your wine and dinner party or a little something for your host.
