I needed some fabric for a quilt Im making as well as some fabric for a some baby leggings Im making for my great-nieces. The staff was helpful in aiding me to find the fabric I needed, getting the fabric cut in a timely manner and getting me checked out as soon as possible. It was overall an enjoyable and easy experience.

This is one of the few places left to get fabric or naugahyde as in my case today.Surprise! Fabric prices have gone up with everything else. Luckily, I found a remnent roll and got my three pieces at 50% off. Service was great.

This Joann’s was very easy to navigate. I liked, Despite it’s size, that there was a great selection of both fabrics and crafting supplies. Not a lot of people were there which was kind of nice. The prices were great too! Even the selection was good considering the size of the store.

I am an avid Jo Anns shopper. This was my first time at this location. The store was clean, staff was friendly, and they took a reasonable discount off of an already on sale rack system that was missing one rack. If I could give them. 5 star plus rating I would.

JoAnns are consistently good. Using the coupons on the JoAnns mobile app, its easy to get discounts on most purchases.

A lot of products including Easter stuff and good sales. Waited too long to check out with one register open and was having issues. Finally 2 other workers opened up to help, should of came sooner. No waiting while I was shopping.

Best sales and coupons, I used the app alot. Associates are always very friendly and helpful. The stores are always very neat and easy to shop. This is my #1 craft store to go to.

I think the guys name was Terry he said....angry at me because there was no price on a fabric, he stated that he could not find a price for the fabric, but was angry because I still wanted to buy the fabric. Which by the way I have bought there before and went back specifically to get it again. It was bizarre the way he treated me. Ive been buying fabric there for about 3 years now and that is not the first time the customer service came up short, to say the least. Im done. I will not go back and be treated that way ever again

I come to this store because it is the closest to me. (still 45 min away)Never got ANY help, EVER....Except a pointing finger in some general direction, if I cannot locate it, oh, well, I thought/Its supposed to be there..One time there were three customers and I was one, I walked up to cashier area, (b4Covid), cashier was answering the phone...she says, Ill go check for you. Hold please. Well..... I had a huge cart FULL of fabric, crafts, flowers, beads, inks, paints, you name it. And we looked for my coupon...when she finished with me, I watched her go back to the phone, and say, Maam? I am sorry we dont have any.Wow! SHe just put that poor lady on hold for MANY MANY MINUTES... and NEVER CHECKED on anything, but my cart.

My kiddos love Joanns. They always find what then need.. And they always have good coupons online..

I love JOANNs! I have loved shopping here ever since I was little. My grandma introduced me to this store after she taught me knitting and sewing, and Ive enjoyed the occasional visit ever since. I would still consider myself a beginner at the needle arts, so I really appreciate their ability to answer all of your questions. Theyve helped me with how much fabric I needed for a project, as well as what weight of yarn I should use for a scarf pattern. Everything is organized in a logical order that makes shopping very quick and easy. I look forward to stopping by again soon.

Clerks do not know inventory. Breath of stock is not great. Aisles full of carts and ladders.

While you get all kinds of fabrics, its expensive and theres lack of staff to help you with your asks.

Happy to see we could actually walk in to shop! They had some cute Halloween fabrics and a lot of different elastics in stock to make masks. I wish I lived closer to this Joann, I would go more often. The staff were friendly too!

Most of the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. It is always great experience going to this Joannes. They have a lot of fabric and a lot of supplies for a store this small. They definitely squeezed as much as they could in there but its still easy to find everything and everything is always clean and tidy. As far as cutting table time goes, one must realize that the cutting table employee doesnt just cut fabric. Sometimes they have to help the customer figure out how much of each fabric their pattern calls for. A beginner might not know how to calculate how much they need and a knowledgeable cutter can help them with that. I can appreciate when someone takes the extra time helping a beginner. It can mean the difference between a successful positive sewing experience or someone giving up. So have some patience with the cutting counter....😉

The hourly employees are very sweet and nice. The coupons on the app never work because everything seems to be already on sale. The worst experience I had at this particular Jo-Anns was the other day I needed to purchase a pair of pinking shears. The shares were locked up so an employee had to unlock them for me. A manager was walking by and I had told her I needed the scissors. She told me to go ahead and wait in line at the cutting table and one of the gals will help me. There was already a huge line of people needing their fabric cut. I would have had to wait an easy 20 minutes just to get the scissors. Why couldnt the manager help her employees out by getting me the pair of scissors it would have been quick and easy. So I waited in line for about 5 minutes and I seen the manager walked by again, so I asked her do I really have to wait in line to get a pair of scissors? Instead of getting them herself she got an employee that just clocked in and told her to do it. I should have just ordered it off amazon it would have been easier and hassle-free and I wouldnt have to deal with such a grumpy manager. Like I said all the hourly employees are super nice and helpful why the manager couldnt help out her employees is beyond me.

I don’t like Joann stores because 50% of the time I experienced long wait time, terrible sales associates, and lousy coupon policies. After my last 2 visits, I am writing Joann off my list of stores to go to.I know it my seem petty, but if they are going to have we accept competitors coupon, they should honor it. One trip, I was told they can only accept single item coupon. I know this was not true, but the cashier was being a B, so I left and wrote to Joann. They said they do accept all competitors coupons and ask for the store which told me otherwise so they can inform that store. Of course I know of the restrictions, such as no clearance, door buster, etc. I can read the fine prints.A few weeks later, I returned to the same Joann, this time they told me they will accept Michael’s coupon only if I can show them the advertised item from Michael’s. So unless I can prove by proving an ad from Michael’s that Michael sells the exact product I am buying from Joan, I cannot use the coupon. I have never heard of something so ridiculous. I was not asking for a price match.I just left everything on the counter and walked out. My time and money can be better spent elsewhere.

This location has excellent employees that are knowledgeable and friendly. They have great seasonal crafts here as well.Highly recommend!

I love Joanns selection on 100% cotton flannel! Its abundant! I wish I had come here first before visiting another fabric store which was overpriced and almost no selection. I still bought a few yards there because the prints were so sweet.

Its aggressively obvious the long-time workers leave the store a mess for the harder working employees to clean, I come in here VERY regularly - love love love the nice young staff they put at the registers. Insanely helpful.

It is a big selling machine. Product quality is average. Sales promotions are designed to bring in customers who will then pay a somewhat reasonable price for sales items. Regularly priced items are a windfall for Jo-Ann Fabrics investors.

Love the Folsom store. It always seems to have a great selection and the staff is always friendly. The line to check out is the only reason I didnt give a 5 star rating.... But Im not sure where they could put additional registers.

Small hallway store. Very little selection due to size. Consider Michaels instead or head to Sacramento.

What I don’t understand is the return policy ON THE WEBSITE clearly states “OUR RETURN POLICY = HASSLE FREE CREATIVITYReturns with a smile are super easy! You can return any JOANN purchase any time with no hassle.” And yet I was told by the manager I couldn’t return any .00 or .99 or .95 etc items I purchased. I see the disclaimer stating Joann’s reserves the right to refuse or deny a return, but seriously? If the company doesn’t take clearance items back, it should NOT say “ANY JOANN PURCHASE.” That is misleading. Whoever is managing this store needs to definitely get trained on Customer Service so they can teach their employees also!

My 1 year old son was upset at his older brother and while we were trying to maneuver the cart through aisles that were either too small or too obstructed to fit the cart through an inconsiderate employee decided to advise us that we need to teach the 1 year old not to be vocal when he doesnt get his way. Maybe she can help us teach him Ancient Greek Politics while shes at it. At this we did not complete our purchases and she need not fear, we wont be returning to this store.

I purchased a new sewing machine from this location. I talked to the stores resident sewing expert about the machines they have available. She kinda came off that she didnt want to help me, but after I talked to her about my sewing experience she seemed to become more friendly. Maybe she was just tired. Anyway I bought a machine and the lady who helped actually ran to go and get a new box from the back. Im satisfied with my purchase. Thank you for your help.

The only place that sells fabric

I am a yarn hoarder so this place is dangerous for me. If you have other creative skills or would like ideas for crafting, this is the place to go for supplies. When shopping for supplies, I have never been disappointed when I went to this store.

Was looking for alcohol Ink and photo paper. Asked for the ink and lady at front gave us the aisle number. I couldnt locate the paper so I asked a man on floor and was told they must not have and he didnt know anything about it. Asked the lady at the front again; the man heard her and began stuttering oh yes, and making excuses. Not going back.

Staff was not attentive at all. Completely ignored the register. I had to go back to the fabric counter and ask someone to come help the line of people who had been waiting for at least 5 minutes. And even then, they didnt immediately come help us. The cashier was annoyed when she finally helped check me out, as if I had interrupted her in the middle of something. I will only be going there when absolutely necessary. Theres too many other options to get the things I need.

I went to the store to look for an specific item and couldnt find it. I approached the cashier and asked her if she could check on the computer system because I had called the day before and they assured me they had this product. Mary I believe is her name, answered with the loudest voice and attitude. What do you want me to do?!!! I yelled back look for it! She proceeds to help me look for it but we couldnt find it and she couldnt answer my questions about similar product. I asked her if I could return in case it doesnt work and she told me No! I gave her a coupon and she refused it saying only JoAnnes coupons are allowed even though it was a Wilton coupon. I am proud of myself for being respectful of her age and loud mouth. My 12 year old couldnt believe a customer representative could carry herself like that. She was appalled this lady works there. All I have to say us, that I love Michaels and they will continue to be my #1 choice and if I ever considered going to JoAnnes every now and then, today was the last day!! I have tried calling management but it seems they are unreachable.

Great customer service.Purchased black polyester for a faire booth table.They offer items for all kinds of crafts besides fabric: Beads, faux flowers, scrapbook papers, wood, sewing, simple jewelry, foam, upholstery fabric, etc - all in limited qualtities. Hope they arent going to quit selling beading items as the shelves were basically bare. Could have been from a sale, though.In the back they have a small area for classes.What you see on the shelves are the only stock they carry. There is no warehouse, or storage area in the store. You can also order online and pick up your order in the store, depending on availability.Put the app on your phone. Coupons are always available! You can save. Some clerks will make sure you are getting the best deal.

Unless its an emergency AND youre sure its something basic theyll probably have AND youve already tried Michaels in Folsom AND every other store in Folsom STAY AWAY. From the tiny size of the store making the isles claustrophobic to the useless and questionable employees, this place is an embarrassment to the name. Normally, JoAnns is my go to craft store but not in Folsom. Hit the nice new Michaels instead!
