This was my first experience with using a service like this. In the past, when I needed a new car, I drove my old car to the dealer, they made an offer, I traded it in... Probably what most people experience. Well, this time was different. My truck was in decent shape for having 230k miles, but there were some issues. Then the belts went and my water pump and alternator werent being powered. The truck died. I had hoped a quick repair would fix it, but I found myself sitting at the Toyota dealer with a potential bill of several thousand dollars. I couldnt put that kind money into a 14 year old truck. Its a great truck (Buy Tacomas - They are beasts...) but there were a few things that needed fixing and I just couldnt do it. SO... Now Im facing Toyota, they want this thing off their lot. I dont want to buy something from this dealer (They didnt have what I wanted - Another Manual Tacoma)... Im gonna have to pay to tow this thing to my home... Then what? So I googled a search for a car buyer in NJ. This guy Morris calls me. Seems like a nice enough guy... I admit, I was kind of hesitant at first. After talking to him on the phone, he made me feel comfortable. He offered me a very good price - especially considering that he knew in advance that hed have to tow it about 40 miles from where it was currently located. We agreed to do the deal. The problem then, was how to do it. I live 40 miles away. I guess he noticed the phone number I was calling from and asked where I was (work) - I told him. He said, No problem. Ill be there in 20 minutes. Wow. How great was that??? The guy shows up, pays me, and has his tow meet me near my home to remove the car. The tow guy met me that evening - right on time - As scheduled at 7pm. He did all the work. Got the truck all set up on the tow, took the keys, that was it. If you are trying to sell a vehicle and you are not sure about the value you are getting for a trade in - or youre like me and stuck without being able to trade it... Call Morris. Hes honest and fair. Heck, I hope its not soon, but the next time I get a new car - Im going to call him first to see what hes offering me. Thank you Morris - Mike W.
