Galactic Comics is the ideal comic book store. Its huge, with a large selection of new and vintage comics, along with a ton of toys. The staff is friendly, and the owner, Dale, is fair and honest in the way he deals with customers. If you want to sell comics, he is up front and explains how he arrives at his offer. He makes what can normally be an anxious exchange easy and transparent. I believe this is why he gets such incredible collections coming into the store. Ive been to comic book stores all over the world, and Galactic Comics is among the best Ive ever seen. Were lucky to have such a world-class store in Florence, SC.

Galactic comics is the best place to come if your interested into comics!! The owner, Dale, is super nice!! Me and my friend were competing this weekend and he was kind enough to give us 1 free pop. And then we good a good placement on our dance and he gave us another one for free!! Like I said, hes super nice and you should definitely go there!!!

Visited today and was amazed by the selection. Im always on the lookout for gold and silver comics and this place didnt disappoint. Great selection of graded and raw comics. Prices were already good but the owner really hooked me up with a bulk purchase. Im not necessarily a toy collector but they have an enormous selection of vintage GI Joe and other lines. This store is a few hours away but I wont hesitate to make the drive again. 5 stars PLUS, because they exceed all comic stores Ive previously been to!

Some of the best comics around. Had some great silver and golden age comics. They had everything from pops to toys and art work as well. Would highly recommended

This place has it all! If all your looking for is nostalgia and comicbook hero and herons, Movie toys from early 80s 90s and more! Manga ,POPS, collectibles! You wont regret checking this place out. Make sure you have time to stay awhile! Only thing they could add is a chair for my girl to sit while I spend hours looking around 😂

Awesome! I stumbled onto this place while visiting my girlfriends parents. The owner has a treasure trove of collectable comics and action figures. TONS of GI Joe and Transformers figures. I fell in love with this place!

We came from Sumter with over 150 comics. He looked through them and said there were 4 worth money. He offered $20 for those and nothing for the rest as he said they are filler stock. We feel like he took advantage of us becuase we spent over 100 dollars on his stock to complete our collections. Didnt give a discount for the comics he deemed filler stock. I really feel he took advantage of us considering we went buying so much. He also assisted in finding the ones we needed to complete our collection and gave us comics that didnt even go with that collection on two different sets. Would not recommend this establishment. And would really like some of our money back. He is the expert he shoukd kbow what comics go with what sets. We lost out on 40 dollars just on the two sets that he picked the collects on. Just really disapointed.

Awesome customer service!!!!The store posted an awesome video on YouTube. When I was watching it, I saw the Naruto POP missing in my collection. Called the store, the staff was super friendly, and helpful. Got the transaction done in minutes and two days later I got the POP in my possession in pristine condition. Galactic Comics you rock!!

Very nice brought back memories of childhood in there. The owner was very nice came and spoke to me and introduced himself which was a surprise. The atmosphere there was excellent felt like you were home.

Great selection of comics, collectibles and more. They have hard to find merchandise and I was able to find an item I had been looking for for years at an amazing price. I wish I wasnt so far away or Id visit almost everyday if I could. If you love comics, Funko pops, collectibles and love being a geek this is the place for you.

I don’t live in the Pee Dee area. In fact, I don’t live in the United States. My parents reside in the area and when I visit them, I’m always heading out to local comic shops. Recently I got word from my parents that a new store opened in the Florence area. At the time my parents informed me of this information, I was in Brazil, and desperately searching for a book I needed to add to my collection. My mom contacted Galactic Comics and not only did they have the book I was looking for, but they also held a copy for me so my mother could swing by and pick it up for me. My mother later told me that the people at the store were incredibly kind and friendly. Well, I just arrived home to visit my parents for a few weeks and I had a chance to visit the store two days ago. I was in heaven. I am a serious collector, so I was thrilled to see books from several publishers. It’s not just Marvel and DC books...it’s Valiant, Image, Dark Horse, et cetera! To put the icing on the cake, the back issues are rife with excellent titles for very fair prices. When I arrived at the counter to pay for the books I had the pleasure to meet the owner, and he was one of the most affable and genial store owners I’ve ever met. He asked me about living abroad and I could see he was completely sincere. In other words, he wasn’t being friendly just to drum up business. He’s a legitimately kind person, and that’s who I prefer doing business with. I’ll be home for a few more weeks and I’ll probably visit Galactic Comics, every day I’m here! Fantastic shop!
