I havd only gone go this particular dollar general and they have exceptional customer service. It isnt very large, but the employees are friendly. If they dont ask you if you need help first, when you ask for assistance they are sure to help. Even with rude customers I have seen them keep their cool and stand their ground on store policies, but offer alternative solutions if possible.

Cashier was very helpful. Some items have no prices on them which is frustrating.

Good store but has only a couple isles with dollar stuff.

Its a good store and they offer good prices on name brand products. I know their understaffed right now so sometimes you have to dodge the big carts of inventory but all in all I love to go to this store for my everyday cleaning products and things for the home.

Love the sales on toys buy one get one 75% off.

Manager of the store had a little conference with a dad who thought she was disrespecting his child which she was not disrespecting anybody she asked the child to stop throwing the ball the child did not the dad got really really mad at her confronting the child the dad was nowhere near the child when it happened the manager was not being rude or mean in any way shape or form she was actually really nice and the dad made a total spectacle of himself and didnt even know what the child was doing the manager should have Kudos she was in the right by asking nicely she didnt deserve to be treated in the way the dad treated her in any way. I hope she had a better day when she got home.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Employees are rude to customers in person and over the phone even the store manager is rude. Something need to get done about this. Its not a very welcoming place.

I go to this place all the time (as i live close by) and it never seems to fail. The staff are wonderful and they have things you wouldnt expect to find at a dollar store. I highly recommend

Poor example of a dollar general. Nothing on shelves. Product backed up in aisles for stockkng but no one is actually stocking. Dirty. Parking lot full of trash. Not good.

Its good for quick pickups of one thing or a few things instead of going into the big box stores.

I enjoy stopping here as can look for specials. Today, music was on-and I let employee know I thought it helped having it on- was relaxing, that when only 1 or 2 in store-makes me feel OTHERS are IN THERE TOO. Staff always getting items ready for upcoming season. Nice and clean.

I stopped there often when I pick up meds from Walgreens across the street the people are always nice and willing to help

I spend a maximum of 5 minutes here, I always run in there real quick and get what I need. Not 5 stars because on certain occasions I have to wait 3 to 4 minutes for a cashier to cash me out and there is no bell or anything for them.

Decent dollar store. Though not everything is actually a dollar but the prices are low. The only reason for 4 stars is because its usually kinda dirty & unorganized.

Ive lived in Grand Blanc for 6 years and this is the closest dollar general to me and just about every time ive been here, the cashier is rude! Theres about 3 different ones and all the same attitude. I was checking out and the cashier said hi i said hi back and she all of a sudden said oh well im fine thanks for asking! How are you? With so much sarcasm. It really threw me off when she said that or i would of said something else now that i think about it(i hate it how u think of things to say after something has happened)I said fine, how are you? She replies with saying great! Have a good day! You would of had to been there. It was sarcastic and she was a complete B to me. I think their racist because its the same way with my husband. Im mixed and hes black. Ill just go out of my way to a different one.

Dollar General in Gladwin MI on Hockaday Rd is perfect in every way, however in Flint... Not so much!!!

Its a good store for a quick stop.

The female employee was outside on a smoke break when we pulled in. There was a guy inside working. While we were walking around I heard a mom yell at her kid. Dont touch that,no not like that. Normal mom /store language. Only it was the lady from outside training the guy😂

The cashier had a persnickity attitude. There was no items stocked on the shelves for the 5 of 25 sale. She claimed that it was stocked already, i was there when the store 1st opened up at 8am today. So therefore, I wasnt able to purchase 85% of the things I needed. It was a waste of my time visiting.
