We moved from Alaska the day before and they tried to help us lease a vehicle but unfortunately we didnt have pay stubs from our jobs yet so leasing was out of the question at the moment but Miguel didnt give up and got us a vehicle before we left. Update as in June 7, 2019.I will have to dropped my 5 stars to a 1.On June 7, 2019 I had an appointment at 10:00 am for a recall on my motorhome.When I arrived, the service advisor (Deane) was in a very bad mood. He said - you were supposed to be early, at what I replied no, my appointment was at 10:00 am, he said, well you are going to have to leave your motorhome, I replied, no I am going to wait, I live in Oxnard, and it takes me 40 minutes one way, so Ill rather wait. He said, okay but I have three other motorhomes waiting ahead of you. I said no problem.Around 2.5 hours later he sees me walking and yells, Garcia your vehicle is ready! I said excuse me my name is Jorge González. Anyways so he instructed me to go to the cashier and get my paperwork.The cashier couldnt find the paperwork, frustrated she calls him and he points to the paper work with the name: JOSE GARCIA!Then she shows him that he made a big mistake, and he said I will correct it, which he never did. So the cashier gives me the paperwork under the name: JOSE GARCIA.I mean come on no one ever apologized, so this leads me to believe that he was profiling, - one Mexican = another Mexican ha!!What a jerk!

Brian the fleet manager was a consummate professional. He didnt have the exact vehicle we were looking for, but located it and had it ready for us upon arrival. All we had to do was fill out the paperwork. In and out in 2 hours. When have you ever been in and out buying a vehicle? Now our company has a new truck. Definitely will be back here for our next truck.

Dwayne Walker is seriously a life saver and the best ever!! He is friendly, kind, and most of all very professional! He explained the check engine light was on and what needed to be done. I explained to him our vehicle is the only car we have for our big family and the urgency of getting it fixed. Dwayne listened completely understood and got it done just like he said he would. It is obvious that customers are IMPORTANT to him and he just gained another loyal returning customer!! Im recommending Dwayne Walker at William L. Morris Chevrolet to everyone!

Very bad service! Made a appointment online for 1:30 to get my car serviced I showed up at 1:00 and the guy at the desk tells me they are closed that they close at 1 but my appointment was at 1:30! So not only did I miss half a day of work my car didn’t get the service it really needs!! I don’t understand why no one could’ve emailed or called me to reschedule I’m pretty sure they knew there was a appointment at 1:30 but no one cared enough to call! Very disappointed 👎🏼

One of our favorite places in town to eat. They only serve breakfast and lunch but its always very good. Kind of quaint, being as its in a dealership showroom, but you get to wonder and look at the new cars while you wait for your food.

I took my truck in for a new rear window and it was improperly installed so it leaked heavily into the cabin during the next rain. Then while my extended warranty was still active I brought my truck in twice because the transmission was sticking and my mechanic had noticed a noise coming from the transmission when it was in his shop. I was told the transmission was fine and it was a pump on the transmission making noise and it was not something that needed repair. Then my warranty ran out and the transmission went out soon after costing me a chunk of change. I have bought two trucks and a suburban at Wm L Morris but will not return my business there and will avoid their shop as well.

Im updating my review but leaving the original at the end. The first time I was there the service wasnt great and people werent very friendly but after a second visit the service improved a lot and I was happy with the way they managed my inquiries. I can now recommend them, they were very helpful and better the second and third time around.Awful service, I came in at 4 and the lady told me all her guys were gone for the day, schedule clearly says they are there until 5:30. I just wanted a quick check on the check engine light that came on. I love my Cruze but with this kind of device I think I should get a Ford next.

The staff was competent and confident. Sales Associate Adrian was great. He saw us browsing trucks on the lot before the dealership opened and started work an hour early to assist us. Rick handled the paperwork and walked me through a variety of options. Upon closing I was satisfied with the terms and conditions of the contract. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience exceeded expectations. They even fed my kids pancakes from the onsite restaurant. Very cool. Your team sets the standard in the industry. Dont want to work with local customers. Said local customer business was not needed and all customers come from out of town. I dont have best credit but was approved and they did not budge on price and said we get out of town customers and made me feel like a local guy like myself isnt important. One of the worst dealer experiences ever and dont recomend. The finance guy Ricardo is the one that made these comments and really made me feel like my business wasnt needed. With or without good credit all people need to get treated fairly. Wasnt asking to give me the auto just wanted a fair deal. Dropping 300 dollars off a 23k truck is a joke if you ask me. Bad attitudes aint for me. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Too bad Chap aint around im sure he would make it right.

First off drove over 150 miles on my day off to go pick up a truck where the deal had already been done. Husband and I were only supposed to go sign paper work and drive off, but we get there and Salvador (The manager) tells us he made a “mistake” on the sales tax increasing price 2k more and that the best he could do was discount $500 for his mistake. Really?! We already had a deal, out the door price including sales tax and they come out with bs..This is by far the worst dealership we’ve dealt with, horrible business they’re just a bunch of liars.One star is too much but I have to rate with at least one star.

The people here do not want to help. My brother-in-law went in to get a van and was discriminated against. The manager was rude and arrogant. The entire time he was talking he was sitting back on his chair with his arms behind his head. He yelled at him and told him this is my price, you like it take it or if not leave. I would definitely not recommend this place. They are not people friendly.

If you want your oil changed and car washed its fine. After that it is overpriced parts and labor IMHO. Dont try returning a part like at an auto part store because they will tell you they cannot even though any auto part store will. Its possible you will have a better experience than me and other members of my family.

Their Cafe is surprisingly good and you sit on an old fashion showroom floor from the 40s with the modern cars around you and a lot of pictures of the old days. This is a very old dealership in a very old dealership building and it just reminds you of a time long ago

DO NOT BUY FROM WM L. MORRIS in Fillmore!!Traded in my car for $1000 and got a used 2012 Chevy Captiva on Jan 24, 2018. This car had 71,827 miles on it at time of purchase.On May 1, 2018 an engine check light came on (91 days, since time of purchase). Car was at 74,656. And warranty was expired now, by ONE DAY!Oil was 2 quarts low after driving 2,829 miles, and my oil life was at 67%. Dealer added 2 quarts to the car. I confirmed, that when my car was purchased, the oil life was at 100% & was showing full on the dip stick.Service report said to come back every 1,000 miles for check ups as there might be an oil consumption problem.Owner of dealerships son Grant advised me that if this turns out to be an oil consumption problem that they will take care of it that they will either pay to fix the car or do a car exchange so that it wont cost me anymore $ in payments.I literally had my baby the next day, so for 4 1/2 months, my car hardly was driven.In June i checked my oil level and thought it was low, so at only adding 800 miles, I came in to the dealer, turns out it was 1 quart low. They said to come back at another 1200 miles since I came in 200 miles early.In September I came in again, this time I came in at 76,574 miles. It was was just under 2 quarts low. Said to come back again. At this point I can see a trend that there is excessive oil use, yet the mechanic said it was boarder line.Fast forward to Nov 21st 2018- I now have 78,148 miles on my car (added a total of 6,321 miles since time of purchase). My engine is making funny noises, & since I am going on a long distance trip I call & make an appt to get my oil changed. I was advised previously that when i check my oil, the car needs to be sitting for 20 minutes to make sure all the oil goes back in the pan. When I show up for my oil change appt, i ask to see the oil level before they change it. Mechanic A says OK, lets check it. I advise that i just got here and it needs to sit for another 15 minutes. He insists I do not need to wait that long and proceeds to show me, in front of the service check in receptionist, my oil, and says that its 4 quarts low. Again i insist he wait longer, but insisted that we do not need to, and even proved it by showing me the oil level on another car that just pulled up saying if there is oil in the car, it will show up on the dipstick.Now I go inside and speak to the dealers son Grant about this issue. That driving the car for a total of 6,321 miles, the car has consumed 6 quarts of oil, there is clearly an issue and they need to pay fix the car or give me a new car entirely (a lateral exchange where i can have the same car payment amount). Here is where I get kick back. They say that because I didnt come in at exactly every 1,000 miles, they have to RECHECK my car at every 500 MILES!! I argue that miles is miles and that it shouldnt matter. Clearly if the car consumes 6 quarts of oil in under 6,500 miles, THERE IS AN ISSUE! They also said I should have come in at 500 miles, (even though my paperwork FROM THEM, says to come in at every 1000) They argue the cars last oil change back in Dec of 2017, 1 month before I purchased it, so there could be mystery miles added to the car from when I purchased it, so that would make the oil level lower than you thought it was at time of purchase. I said to check the miles from the last oil change & add it to when i purchased it, so there really is no mystery mileage added, and again, MILES IS MILES. So then they tell me, after 3 hours, that Oh the last service was done in 2016, so that could be why its looking like there is a problem. So i ask WHY DIDNT YOU SERVICE IT THE CAR BACK IN MAY?! They had no real answer.Bottom line, after wasting 5 hours arguing that there is an oil consumption problem, proving that the mechanics are incompetent, Grant and the manager on site, refused to acknowledge there is a problem. Grant also said I am liable for making the repairs.My father works for LAPD, & all his friends will now know not to buy cars from this place!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with everyone at this particular dealership. I was greeted quickly and professionally and I immediately felt as though I was part of their extended family. The entire process was pain free and easy -it hardly felt like I was going thru the car buying process. It was a very professional environment but a total pressure free zone. I let the sales person who greeted know I was already working with someone else. He immediately assured me the sales person would be taken care of and that I would be as well. Financing options were plentiful and I was approved that same evening. I picked up my 2008 Nissan Altima the next day where I was notified a full tank of gas was in my car and ready to go. Received a day of pampering certificate for my car. Since their service is only open Monday thru Friday I decided I would take off on a Tuesday to go have this done. Even though the certificate does not state to call for an appointment I decided to call in advance. I was advised the soonest appointment was a week away. Explained I dont live in the area and we were going to be out there the next week for the July 4th holiday. She adamantly said nothing she could do, So sorry! Didnt mention to her we were also going to be shopping 4th of July specials for a new truck. Oh well is right. Will shop somewhere else. P.s. dont bother donating your certificates as they are not worth the paper they are printed on!

I was surprised that they charged me without warning me (all previous oil changes were free). Also, they stated that they could not wash the car, even though that is normally included with the oil change. Plus, I had to wait 2 hours for the oil change.
