Overall most things here cost alot more than everywhere else. But some food I can only find it here. I like their bakery,, they are not cheap, but taste pretty good.

Love the products and staff. Clean store and huge variety to select.One last thing. It seems to me the shoppers there were more respectful and with well manner while shopping. Lets hope it will keep this way.

I had the squid dish and gimbop, I also had the kimchi chicken dish that tasted better in my case. I absolutely love this place. They also offer a side a kimchi and daikon kimchi with your meal. If you want to purchase a drink with your meal, drinks must be purchased at the front.

It is the size of a regular grocery store and has a huge variety of asian products and some but not many american items. I was looking for organ meat and found they have an enormous meat and fish department that has an amazingly large selection to chose from. I was able to find the beef heart and liver and pork liver and heart but no turkey organs unless I missed it in all the different cases. Although I wasnt looking for for produce, you cant help but notice the big produce section and its wonderful selection of interesting and exotic fruits and veggies. It also has a bakery and what appears to be a very popular restaurant judging from the healthy line. I definitely plan on going again when I have more time to spend.

Clean, tidy, packed yet well organized logically by item type. this store boasts isle after isle of products for the casual curious or the chef of Asian cooking. Fresh produce is better than most other general grocery stores and carries the common basics, lettuce, peppers, onions, cabbages, and fruit, along with more unusual and exotic products. A fish and seafood market outside of Seattle or a full butcher shop . Fresh live seafood or whole dead fish cleaned and prepared to order while you wait. large meat market does lack something to be desired and smells slightly rotten passing through at the back corner of the store. Staff doesnt always speak English, but nothing a good phone with data and google translate cant solve once you find the language you need to translate too. 4/5 stars, only for the smell of the beef and meat areas.

Big store, lots of utensils to choose from, in-store little shops are great, lots of Koren beauty products. Great fresh produce, big selection of seaweed and seafood. Good customer service and its pretty clean.

I spent an hour shopping in this Korean grocery/deli store. I enjoyed browsing all the different ethnic foods and liked their prices which were reasonable. I ordered at 2 different speciality restaurant foods to sample foods and found them quite tasty and enjoyable. The wait for these foods to be prepared were quite long. For this reason, I’ll not go back. Overall, it’s a nice store!

If youre shopping for Asian groceries and goods, this places carries a wide selection and their prices are reasonable. I like to try Korean products that Ive never had before. I find them very flavorful. I now buy seafood stock in a bag that has no additives. A bit pricey compared to others but much better quality.

I used to have to go to the great wall to get all my Asian food. This has been a great place for me to go and get all my needs taken care of. Close to home.

Arrived yesterday morning (Sunday, 10/17) to buy a few items. I specifically told the cashier I would need a bag. She looked up at me when I said it, so I assumed she heard (and my items were enough to obvs warrant one). Anyway, when I had finished paying up I noticed she hadn’t bagged any of my items, so I assume (as I have never been here before) that we bag our own stuff? Right when I am about to reach for a bag, the cashier quietly, (so as not to draw attention to herself, but audible enough for me to hear) barks, “I DIDN’T charge you.” Indicating I don’t get a bag, I guess? SMH. It wasn’t even what she said that I had a problem with, it was how she said it. She sounded like she was angry at me for another reason, as if it wasn’t about the bag. I don’t even know how to explain it, because I’ve never experienced such an angry tone from anyone in a store, ever. I collected my items and carried my things in my arms, a bit shaken up. I wanted to explain that I had asked for a bag when I first got to her, and that I was willing to pay for one, but I just suddenly felt so out of place. What should have been a simple transaction legitimately ruined my first and last experience at H-Mart.

Like any other HMART. I love this location particularly because the ladies that work the bakery are SUPER nice. Love the variety of breads and cakes - the chestnut roll, cheese donut, and croquettes are some of my new favorites. 🥐🥪🍞🍰Also this place is the first time Ive had Hawaiian Sun drinks, and theyre delicious!? Largest Korean Grocery south of Seattle. We have been shopping here many years. Good location with a large parking lot. Busy most of times, specially on weekends. Produces are in good quality and you can find a good deals on weekends sales items.

Cool place to get all the different Asian foods you want to try..they have a huge selection ..and the kids like the live food tanks they have in the meat department..And there produce dept is fully stocked.Lets just say..THIS AINT NO BORING SAFEWAY..LOLOL

I am trying a Jasmine Rice side dish that calls for Pandam Leafs. I googled Pandam Leafs and H Mart in Federal Way came up. Next I called to speak with some one in produce department.The person who answered went to produce to see if they had any. When he came back to the phone he said yes. When I got there I spoke with two different people in produce and they both said they did not carry it. That was disappointing. I did pick up Jasmine Rice and Coconut Milk.

It has Most of everything but prices are bit more then other states. Produce are good. Customer service are sucks. I asked one other employee to find products, she said go over there look for it. I dont know why I asked her. Stupid.

Def love going for all the products and good smells. H-Mart has plenty of Asian products that are hard to find in other markets, and also carries some kitchen wares. It gets super busy on Saturdays especially, but I always find what I need here.

The review is for the little korean kitchen next to the bakery.5 stars best bulgogi ever and its not even a restaurant. Ive had bulgogi in many other places and the one in Hmart is the best.Nice strips of fine beef with scallions, carrots and onion all cooked perfectly with some meaty juices to accompany your steamed fluffy rice. Also comes with a side of yummy kimchi, i think they use better kimchi now compared to before. Anyways its delicious, fairly priced and good portion even for a big guy like me.If you got some spare dollar, give a tip to them, they deserve it for their yummy food.

The items quality here is very good. From the vegetables section to the produce section. And since its a Korean market, most items are Korean brands. The rest are Japanese which both countries are known for its reliability. They also have 3 different restaurants, coffee shop, and bakery all run and make by Korean ladies. They can barely speak English which is a bit difficult to communicate to. But, thats not a big problem.

Great place for produce, exotic fruits, and seafood. Decent amount of selection on asian food, however, about half the size of Lynnwood location. Staff is very accommodating and willing to stock items you want if you ask. Great little bakery inside and a small food court with mom and pop run food stalls.

The seafood staff should know how to speak English when I go back there to get fish..Its not good when they pretend to know what Im asking and they cant answer me the customer! English only speaking Americans shop at Asian stores as well not just Asians..

Best H Mart out of the others ones in Washington. This one is much bigger, better stocked, and cleaner. Always great to find all the meats needed for some bbq and kimchi to clean out the palate. I just wish folks would keep their dirty hands off the seafood. I was watching this one guy who was cleaning his ears with his fingers and then picked up one of the crayfish to examine with the same hand. Would have been fine if he bought it so he could taste his ear buggers for dinner but nope, plopped the sucker right back in the bin. Lots of parking here just watch out for the impatient drivers trying to get in or out.

If youre looking for Asian food this is definitely the place to go. We live out in Puyallup and anytime Im even close to Federal Way I always be sure to stop here and load up on the things that we cant get closer to home. If youre ever close to here do yourself a favor and stop in and visit one of their pastry shops. They have unbelievable fresh baked goods.

I like the new varieties of food. Geared very much to a typically asian diet their food is to. Here we get if anything a commercial version of some American exec, and probably not all that familiar with the reatlities of the real.food. I do stir fry and chow mein as well as fried rice. Hey, lm a guy and a decent cook but definitely NOT chef level.

I do enjoy going here for those foods you dont normally find at a Safeway, Fred meyer, or Winco. My girls watch a lot of anime and when they come here, they go crazy thinking they are apart of the show and eating like their favorite characters. Went to the hmart restaurant, and food was good besides the fact that the person who took my order was quite rude and I found a piece of hair in my food. also, many of the cooks werent wearing masks.

I am a regular customer. They are good until you have to return stuff that was stale or messed up. They are not gracious like that. My one bad experience, this one time was when I found the only packet of C & H white sugar on the shelf, small packet. It had a transparent taped on it because it was torn, I asked to be discounted because of the evident damage, the cashier flat out refused. I aint buying that sugar. Your competitors are Walmart, Target, Campeon, Dollar Store, It only takes one time to lose a customer.

Yes! I didnt know what about 25% of the merchandise is, maybe less than that. Largest selection of instant coffee on planet earth. Fresh Geoducks for 20 lb and they clean! A truly international market with the clientele to match.

I was surprised when I weighted the fish at home, and saw that I had been deceived. But I was even more surprised when I weighed the fish on the other scales in the store, and it showed the same results. Real a shame.I am customer for years in that store but never sought to check before the scales. I strongly recommend to check your weight of your purchase at home, on your own scale.

Great place to find anything that youre looking for whether Korean or other Asian food. Large selection of vegetables and produce that may not be available at our standard grocery store. Huge aisle of instant noodles if thats what you like. Every kind of seasoning and sauce available when youre looking for Asian cuisine. Decent selection of fish and its all pretty fresh. On one side of the store they have a mini food court with little places to order food. The center of the store has Asian supplies like appliances and other gadgets. I must go to if youre looking for anything asian related.

Went on Tuesday and got a spam, opened on Wednesday and it was BLACK. It looked so gross I didn’t even check the expiration date and threw it away. I took picture of it though. It’s only a few dollars but how can I trust and purchase FOOD here? When I called, their response was “Wasn’t it in the can?”. Yes, all spam is in a freaking can but that doesn’t mean that you are not responsible for the quality of products you carry and sell. If you apologized first before making thoughtless excuses and offering credits, I wouldn’t have bothered to write this review.

How is place not shut down by the health department. I saw vegetables staged by the restrooms. The only male restroom stall was splattered with diarrhea, while male employees saw it, made comments and ignored it. The floors are sticky and visibly dirty. Pay attention to the products Hmart has on the shelves as they are ok with expired products.

Only my second time here, but they have a great selection and the store is spacious. I think their prices are a bit better the Uwajamia for the things I looked at.

I buy my asian fruit and vegetables here along with Korean noodles and rice and they also have prepared Kim bop and other prepared Korean food such as Kimchee, Korean chicken etc. on weekends they often have food samples but for now covid has paused the food sample:(

This H Mart Carries everything you need from Asian products to Spanish. Love the prices and variety that they offer. And for Mexican products check out El Campeon supermarket which is right across the street from H Mart

My mom and my aunt went to the store to buy some cakes at the bakery. They paid at the bakery and with the receipt in hand, they walked to in front of the cashier. While they still inside the store, an older security chased after them and assumed they stole so he yelled and stopped them. It happened just right before 9pm so not that many customers left. My aunt called her daughter since they do not speak English so well. The security instead of apologizing, he said he has no name and he also said that “ no sorry”. What kind of security is that?!? My family lives on street behind the store and we have been shopping there for years!!! Many times we have seen this happened to others but never thought it would happen to us. I hope the manager of the store would see this message and retrain their securities staff. Fist of all, they should never grab a customer before knowing for sure they stole something. Secondly, when the customer still inside the store DONOT touch them. Last but not least, say SORRY if they make a mistake!!!! This is absolutely unacceptable!!! I’m not going to let this slide!!!

They have great sales on Asian specialties especially Asian probiotic shots. Theyre super cheap here if you buy a case so we always load up on pineapple and strawberry probiotic shots.

This Hmart is hugeeee...so I would feel confident you can find what you are looking for here. It goes get busy on weekends like a costco would. Best thing I love about this Hmart is that there are so many cafes and restuarants right next door including one of my favorite ramen and bubble tea place...making it a good place to even just hang out.
