This is a store for artists, beginners, teachers, students, and for each and every family member. You can find anything to fullfill your idea, or just come without any ideas and find great inspiration.Unfortunately, the restroom is awfully dirty and there is no toilet paper.So plan accordingly 😉

Extremely helpful with a custom frame I had done.Admittedly I was clueless on style, aesthetics.. but the staff walked me through designs and color patterns. Super patient. Frame and picture ended up beautiful!

My family always enjoys our trips here. We normally pick up some small arts and craft project that we can do with our sonor some fun decoration.

The store was clean and inviting. Shelves were well stocked. Customer service was just ok. The employees running the cash registers were talking with others at the front. They seemed upset I interrupted their conversation, but were courteous.

Selection of fabric was really small. They had some good deals. I just wanted some good fabric to make stuff for my grandchildren and the girls Barbies. I know now to go to a different craft store to get fabric and sewing stuff

I love their large collection of craft Supply. They have just about something for everybody. The markdowns are really a decent by.

I generally enjoy this store a lot and have pleasant experiences 99% of the time but something should be said about the rudeness I watched *another* employee (I’m assuming a manager because she was just too bold) display to the cashier that was helping me. I had been asked to step to the side to wait for my order to come from the back. When my order arrived she let the woman who grabbed it know where I was standing because another couple of customers had walked up. They lady scoffs and says, “this is your job” and legit continues on with her day as if she had something better to attend to. She should watch that behavior because 1. it looked like she had a problem approaching *me* specifically & 2. It’s incredibly unprofessional. You don’t talk to your employees/coworkers that way in front of people. She easily could have corrected her in private but seemed set on being rude out loud. She was unbelievably crabby and even if she wasn’t, it came across as such. I know we all have bad days & it was pretty early in the morning but it made me side-eye coming to this location.

You know...I saw some amazing things at the store that caught my eye and gave me inspiration. However that wasnt the only thing that caught my eye...I noticed that I was being watched like a hawk by security at the front. I felt someone watching me and it was him...along with other employees. Each aisle I went down there was an employee walking by. Maybe theyre just walking putting stuff away In each aisle I go down theres an employee putting something away nah...I know whats going on. So since I realize they think Im going to steal I decided to walk out...I get security being at the front door however an employee at the front door as well...one that hasnt spoken 1 word to me since I entered the store...now has the audacity to ask me if I found everything I was looking for while trying to look in my purse to see if I stole anything...I dont like being treated like a criminal especially given that I did nothing wrong. I saw great things Id like to purchase however given this experience I will not be spending my money here.

This may be a wonderful store to shop but don’t go there if you need to use the bathroom. It is horribly outdated, dirty and unkempt with no TP. The toilets appear to be the original ones when the store was built

This is one of the better Michaels. Staff is helpful and as always good sales!

Its a smaller Michaels store but its nicer than Southcenter. They dont put the fancy art supplies on lock down or having some loud notification that youve entered the premium art supplies. No push pins though and no torches.

Online order, in store pick up. No problem with the art products purchased. Problem with the pick up process, online it said to go to store kiosk & follow directions. Went to the store& found the kiosk by the entry way. It said to press the button, which I did. Waited a bit& pressed the button again. All this time close by I can see the lone cashier helping 1 or 2 people. No one arrived so I walked to the back of the store, found nothing or no one. Decided to go to check out person. 1 or 2 folks ahead of me, I get up to cashier give her my paperwork. She goes to the lockers (or cubicle, I dont remember) & brings me my stuff. So I ask her, for future pick ups should I go directly to check out, cashier line or follow the web directions & go to the kiosk& press the button? She says go directly to cashier & give them your paperwork. So I ask you what is the sense of having a store pick up kiosk? To waste my time trying to get service & to be ignored by the cashier (where she could have motioned me to stand in line), to confuse your customers...unsatisfactory customer service & relationship.

Low on merchandise stock and variety. Disappointed they had changed suppliers. Having to resort to buying online from other vendors.

There was a great selection of craft supplies, much better than Hobby Lobby or Joanns. The employees were nice and helpful. Totally found my go to craft store.

I enjoy this shop as it has a very wide variety of crafts. From painting to flower arrangements, Michaels has it for your enjoyment.

Employees were ready to assist and everything was easy to find.

I go here mainly for the framing, when they have a sale, or a frame size that I need is a clearance item.Britney does a great job helping match up the right, picture or certificate to the right frame, and gets them ready in a very timely manner.The rest of the staff also are very diligent about keeping the shelves, well stocked and tidy, the store clean, and helping at the checkout stand when needed.

Great place to pick up your packages without worrying about porch Pirates. Would you do that the store is well-stocked and there are very friendly and knowledgeable Personnel working there as well.

Ive been to many Michaels stores all over the country and 1 thing is the same at all of them. The employees havent a single clue where any of the merchandise is or if the store even carries those items

The store was clean and the staff is helpful. I come here often and I never have to wait in line for too long to check out. The cashiers seem to do a good job of increasing register availability when the line gets longer. Most items seem to be in stock except for some fine art supplies. I was able to find something else to make it work in the meantime.

I used to shop in this store for last 6 years. But customer service is getting worser and worser.April 6 2021 I came to buy present for my birthday and for my cousins birthday. I bought some art supplies.I was there with my husband and my baby daughter. I took pack of canvases, brushes, paints and some stuff for my baby. We paid and went to the home.By the way, when cashier asked me how do I want my receipt email or printed? I asked her to send it in my email , but I NEVER RECEIVED IT!So when we came home, we realized there is no canvases we bought for my cousin!!The cashier just didn’t put it in the bag!!!So I went back to the store alone.When I came I told them that they didn’t put canvases in the bag, and I even didn’t get a receipt to prove I bought it.They looked at me like I was a fraud !!!! And it seemed to me they didn’t really tried to help me !!!One of cashier asked the other cashier if she remembers me ...and she said NO !!!I was confused and shocked !!!!! I told her “it’s strange, really strange , because I DO REMEMBER YOU! I was here an hour ago!”She even didn’t say a world!This is HOW THEY TRIED TO HELP ME ?!!!!And they stayed calm and looked on me like I was a thief !!!!!!!!!!!!I asked them to look for my canvases one more time !They asked for manager, she came and I told her about this problem!She was looking on me the same like those two ladies. Because I didn’t have the receipt (that they didn’t send me!)I was so upset , so I asked her to check on cameras!She went somewhere (I guess , to check on cameras)When I was staying and waiting for the manager, I finally saw MY CANVASES I PAID FOR!!!!They were behind the counter!!!!I pointed on them , and FINALLY those ladies looked confused !!!Than manager contacted the cashier and confirmed it was my stuff !!!I don’t know, what that cashier wanted to do!Was she trying to steal that, or just she wasn’t attentive, but my day and my shopping experience was screwed up!!!They even didn’t apologize for that situation!Usually, I didn’t write bad reviews, but this time was awful!!!

Had an amazing variety of crafty things here. The cashiers didnt seem to know how much to charge me for the fifth bottle of the same paint as the other four, because it didnt have a barcode? Took about 15 minutes to settle the issue.

Great arts and crafts selection and then some. For example: Whatever crafty item you need for that DIY project youre working on, i promise you they have AT LEAST 3 or 4 different brands for it and AT LEAST 10 different types within those brands. Lol. And thats pretty much the same with whatever else you need. Im pretty sure I counted at peast 30 different spray on adhesives. Love it.

The store is always fairly well stocked and organized. I do feel there could be more employees on the floor helping customers; I tend to find most of them at the register or stocking products though they are all friendly and helpful when asked questions.I did have to exchange a wood burner I had purchased as a gift, as the tip was stuck in the burner and couldnt be taken off by several people. The employees made sure to check the new one I was taking home to ensure I wouldnt have the same problem, which I very much appreciated.

I went at closing but I didnt realize it when I went in, or else I wouldnt have even entered the store.After I heard the were closed announcement, I apologized for being there at close.Now the ladies I interacted with at closing were so very gracious and I felt it was sincereIve encounter employees at previous jobs that get snarky with customers that come at closing.(Not cool, I know)Thanks for your patience with me!

Do love this store........ BUT the check out line is ALWAYS TOO LONG. Made 3 different trips, different days different times. Third time I just had to stay and wait. RIDICULOUS! I realize weve got the COVID situation going on....but come on Michaels - get a clue. Pretty sure most of your customers dont want to spend 1/2 the day waiting to check out.

Always enjoy Micheals. Staff are always helpful and friendly. While they have some of the things that Joannes does they have many other things that Joannes doesnt. I do like their porcelain figures and all the baking supplies!👍😁

There was at least 3 and up to 5 employees stocking the shelves in and around the aisle I was in. I was looking around in the acrylic paints aisle for over 5 mins, not a single one of them said ANYTHING at all to me. NOTHING. So, I finally took it upon myself to ask if they had a certain item, the lady just pointed to where it could have possibly/might be located and said if its not in that area, then we dont have it then she walked away. Needless to say, I actually found what I was looking for, about 6 aisle away where the other Acrylic paints were located. NO HELP.

Not very pleased with the blonde staff that has the glasses there. She was likely the manager but had a very poor attitude. I was taking out a cart to bring in a heavy drawer and she stopped me to say I can’t do so and someone would help me. Nobody helped me.. so I had to get it myself, this dresser was literally falling apart in my hands. I come in and everyone just stares..., out of respect and embarrassment I just pretend nothing happened and didn’t show I was affected. I’m never coming back

Boy where to start! The framework has been switched now but should probe to be interesting. The place is ginormous and live it dearly if the truth sets people free the people will be free,until then? So I think I will shop between several stores and MHC TO. I also was going to eat them out of house and home! But no food ! Happy trails to all and remember if service is the problem call on me to find your solutions. Lol!!!!

Am giving up more of my physical gardening when I counted just my strawberries and discovered why it took me so long. Of the 542 plants on the deck, I am giving away 250 plants. I am going to try my hand at miniature fairy gardening. The staff at Michaels are great -- always have answers to your questions, know their products and are always encouraging. Had all their fairy gardening products on sale last week at 50% off. And I love the little houses that light up with either batteries or solar panels. Im well on my way. Ill try and post photos later.

Holy crafts! This store had everything you could think of for crafting. Unbelievably huge selection of unique items. A little pricey to me, but they do have sales regularly. Great crafting supply store. Highly recommended!

I am not happy with Michaels. I bought a few things and I should have brought them back. The employee new the stuff I bought was on sale. She new I could have used coupons,but she didnt say a word. I spent almost $100 and I didnt understand how it could cost so much when I didnt get much. I asked a friend of mine who told me I paid more than I needed to. Told me the employee didnt give me the sale price and the employee should have talked to me about the coupons they had. Anyway I wont shop at Michaels in Federal Way again. The employees do not say hello, and when asked if they have chopsticks not one employee new of they do so I was told probably not. I suggest management either needs to be trained so management can properly teach the employees what they have and dont have. Maybe say hello. Acknowledge a customer when we walk in. Dont just stare or pretend we arent their. Everyone just stands around doing nothing. Not friendly people. Not mean, but uncomfortable in that store. I do not know much about crafts and It would have been nice if someone that worked their did.

They had customers w/o masks and we have a No masks, no service policy on place. One woman even got help from an employee without so much as a peep about Michaels policies or tha states. Gave me less than a favorable impression of Michaels commitment to our safety.

1st time visit, had two associates ask if I needed help (unheard of in the city Im from) Nice big Easter Bunny and eggs featured in the front - middle section of store. Nice selection of art journals and decor and pretty good art supplies. Young woman on the register was sweet 👍🤗🐞☘🐝

Another visit to Michaels was such a pleasing experience especially at Christmas. The store is brightly packed with holiday cheer, specials and sales galore as always. Michaels is so clean, well organized and everything in its place. The cashiers are very friendly and through, and of course you always leave with another coupon and a smile.

I just called 5 times and each time no ones voice came on the phone but I would be hung up on.

My visit into Michaels was cut a little too short, I must say. I might spend half the day looking at their mountainous collection of dazzling beads & the jewelry pendants are so exotic and each piece is uniquely individual. I didnt make it out of there without a few purchases. However I was pleasantly surprised when my total costs were cut in half just for becoming a rewards member.

Michaels inspires me to do projects I wouldnt have thought I could do. Bought some spray paint and changed the color of a bathroom cart from turquoise to a bronze color. Turned out great for my first project. Customer service people there are always helpful and nice.

Priced slightly higher than other stores and they need to restock items faster. Its been a couple months and there are items I still notice not refilled. Have ordered online from other places because of this. Use of coupons recommended. Grateful for the Teacher discount and staff is generally friendly.

The store is a decent store. I am glad they price match because just about every other company that carries the same art supplies is cheaper. The staff is kind and patient and helpful. Paint selection could be better but nothing really to complain about. The brush selection is kinda thin.

They have supplies for lots of different craft projects. I needed three frames last week and they had ones that I liked on sale. Hurray! Sale prices pretty good. Bring a coupon for discounts on other items.Staff are usually very nice and customer service is good.
