My sales clerk was very helpful. He greeted me with a smile at the door. Pulled all the shoes they had in my grandson size and walked me through how to determine if they were a good fit for him when I got he since he was not present. I will definitely return

They were very personable providing individualized attention to help my son find the right shoes to support him learning how to walk. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable they were about feet, their development, and how patient they were with a cranky toddler. I even learned something new! Today 12-9-2020 I purchased my first pair of Birkenstock Arizonas. Before arriving to John Allens shoes, I called and spoke with Mrs. Linda about a particular style of Birkensrocks.They didnt have my size so I decided to stop by the store to view their inventory. While there I was introduced to Larry who was also very helpful and gave me a little history on Birkenstocks, when the company started and the different styles that they made.My overall in store buying experience was awesome! It wasnt just the shoes that sold me it was the warm, down home family feeling and the customer service that they gave me. I am funny about shoes, mainly because I feel like I am taking a chance to find the “one” that will be as comfortable as my last pair. Well, this is the place to buy your shoes!!! Why? Because you can talk to an expert and tell them what you need, they ask some questions and then bring out options based on you needs and style. If you would rather go barefoot and really hate shoes, well, youre normal but you need to walk those dogs to John Allen Shoes. These folks know feet and understand how to take care of them. Not cheap, but worth the money to be walking without pain.

The best shoes. Very nice. The people who work there are all experts in fitting shoes and helping you to get the right ones that will work for your feet. There is a certified orthotist there also. Fabulous store.

Excellent customer service, but the quality of the shoes only lasted for 32 days before I had to replace them for inferior mending. The shoes fell apart while walking to the train.

When we found the style of shoe I liked had been discontinued, they used inserts to customize exactly the comfort and support I needed in my new shoes. They are wonderfully helpful people selling quality shoes.

I need a wider width shoe and it is hard to find locally. A friend recommended JohnAllen Shoes and I was very pleased with this store. A young salemans, Kymbrell, patiently pulledout multiple pairs until I found a good fit. Everybody in the store was very helpful. Quite a differentexperience from the big box mall shoe stores. Horrible! I called to ask if they had children's shoes and needed my child's foot measured... Reply was" well if you just want the foot measured go to stride rite we like to sell shoes not just measure feet" my reply so if I bought my kid in to have his foot measured you would not measure it unless I guaranteed I bought a pair? She proceeded to fumble around and told me she wanted our business. So sorry too bad! I went to the mall and had a much better experience! I tried to support a local company but it was NOT worth it! Don't GO HERE!
