Went in to get my engagement ring resized and they talked me out of my ring size and told me to size up because they didnt want me to come back in and them cut my ring off and what if I gain weight not even kidding. So I listened and sized up higher than what I knew my ring size was and had to wait 2 weeks to get my ring back. SURPRISE my ring is still too big but I refuse to let them take it for another 2 weeks. I ended up ordering a small plastic piece to go on back of ring to make it fit... but I shouldnt have to do that! DO BETTER Zales.

Zales does not care about their customers. I’m giving Zales 1 star because I was not allowed to give zero. I have been a loyal customer and account holder since 1992. I love their jewelry. On December 24, 2020 my husband bought me a necklace and earring set for Christmas. We spent close to $800.00. I received my credit card statement at the end of January and paid the balance in full the payment posted on February 2, 2021. The payment was due on January 27, I didn’t realize the due date had come and gone as I had just received the statement. Zales assessed a late fee but, never sent a statement to that effect. They charged me a late payment in February and March, again they never sent a bill. One would think that Zales would value their customers of almost 30 years enough to call and say, “you have missed a payment.” They did not, instead they turned me over to a collections agency. I have paid the late fees I feel were unreasonable levied against me and canceled my credit card account. I will never shop at Zales again and neither should you.

Where is my necklace?Ordered in December 2020. Zales said I could change the stone. Then changed stories, made me buy protection plan to change the stone. Sent it out, not fixed. I traveled to the store 4 times, you keep sending it out and I still dont have it in July 2021

They charged my son twice for a ring he purchased first online then in the store. We were told the online order had to be cancelled because their online system was down. So why keep online ordering open???? Then he went the same day in the store and just so happens when they charged him a second time their computers were updating and it didn’t show on their end. Mind you it showed withdrawn from his bank account twice …NOT PENDING!!! Then to add insult to injury they suggested we contact our bank because of their mess up!!! I was trying to help my son make his engagement no hassle and this place just jacked it up! I will never do business with Zales again. Especially the one in Fayetteville, NC Cross Creek Mall!

I have bought multiple accessories from Zales; however, before moving to Fayetteville, I thought all Zales customer service was great. Whenever I would go in, I would look around and ask to view the items I found pleasing and be helped with no problem. When I went into this location I was given horrible looks after I asked to view an item that I wanted to purchase for my mother-in-law. Instead I asked to have my wedding rings cleaned and decided that Zales in Raleigh was worth the drive for better customer service.

A cleaning takes all of 3 minutes. Ive never been in there longer than that in the several years Ive been going. I went in today to have my wedding ring cleaned (after quite some time of not being able to due to them being closed) and Im told there is a waiting list for weeks out!? There was only 1 other customer in there at the time with 4 employees who never acknowledged me due to being busy giggling together and playing around. I had plans of buying a new pair of ear rings and 2 more rings but after the snarky attitude I received here today, Ill go else where. Never again will I purchase through this company.

Mrs. Ashley was very helpful and friendly. Briana is the sweetest and such a beauty. I went in this evening to buy earrings for my daughter as a gift. These two ladies showed my kiddo around and comparing options until we found the perfect set. Excellent place to visit and lovely staff.

My husband bought me another wedding band to add to my wedding set for our anniversary. I was greeted right away and I actually wasnt planning on us buying anything, we were there to get my original wedding band inspected but we saw one in the case that looked beautiful so I asked to try it on. We werent pressured to purchase she just told us what the sale price would be and to think it over. We went to another store and came right back for the purchase. The credit process was easy and the sales lady was nice. We sent it out to be sized and it came back the wrong size, so we had to send it out again to get it in the correct size. The sales girls that got us through the credit process said when I opened the line of credit, it would be 90 days no interest. I get the first bill and 17 bucks of interest are on it. So, they were either wrong, or lied. Either way, its being paid off next month anyway.

My husband and I purchased our wedding rings in 2018. We initially purchased and had our rings serviced, cleaned and inspected in Atlanta (Cumberland Mall) where we received excellent customer service and care.We’ve temporarily relocated to Fayetteville and it’s time to get our rings serviced. So we headed over to Zales at Cross Creek Mall. Upon arrival the staff was alone in the store, however they did not acknowledge me as customer and we’re extremely playful with one another throughout our interaction. We were told we we would be added to a waiting list, with little to no detail as to when we could expect our rings to be serviced and minimal detail. We were disappointed as we usually receive phenomenal care.The other reviews on Yelp are right- terrible service.Miriam K. Young-Moore M.A

Unprofessional for one (I guess being located in Fayetteville speaks for itself, cause it really screams Fayetteville). They close the entire store “4 lunch”. Can’t even write a professional lunch sign...

My brother and I came to return a engagement rings. The store manager took care of the return and the whole time she kept staring at me and my brother with her eye sight going up and down. While processing the return we experienced a terrible service experience. She kept slamming the boxes and was very blunt and rude with when she was asking us questions regarding our Zales card- even when she asked for our information to do the return. I will never ever purchase from them again- nor will my brother will. Things in life happened that caused the return and they were very inhuman, unfriendly and most of all very rude- attitude the whole time. My brother even wanted to get a gold necklace and I wanted to get a ruby set.

Worse management in the business. They have had my ring since June not giving me any answers on what the outcome is since they ruined my ring. Manager does not return phone calls and avoids phone calls and is very fake. Shes never at the store and always has to call back which she does not do.

Staff member had absolutely no knowledge of jewelry, was very argumentative, and showed no desire to help me find the ring I wanted. We ended up walking out and across the mall to Helzberg and happily spending $6,000. Their loss!

If you go to this location I can only hope that you are serviced by Mrs. Mary. Usually when I go to this location I am ignored and I just take my business elsewhere because nothing is cheap in store and I dont like spending money to someone with a bad attitude. Today, Mrs. Mary asked what was I looking for and took her time show me everything she had to offer that fit the agenda. She pulled out all options, colors, and plain-janes and diamonds galore. Her mission to make sure I saw everything in the store was more than enough time I needed to solidify my purchase today. She explained all options I had and was in no rush to hurry to the next person. I loved her energy and her enthusiasm and I can only be happy that she took her time with me. So please go see Mrs. Mary so she can make your day the way she made mine! Its missing a star because usually when I come they are very rude and short.

When I initially came in i was very pleased with the service. The sales associate was very kind and did everything to make the experience pleasurable. I purchased 3 rings for my wife and I. They did not come in on the date i was told they would be here. I got a phone call stating that my rings were ready for pick up. After an hour drive to the store i make it just to be told that my ring hadnt come in

I have paid off a product I bought with this company and ever sense I still keep getting charges I have fought with them so many times about this and to close my account with them but they won’t. Worst company ever. You have a better chance of getting better quality experience from a crack head on the streets. Will never go to Zales again... stop charging me!!!!

Wish I could give zero to this location. sales associate racially profiled my man..wouldnt even let him touch the jewelry he was thinking of purchasing. told him he wasnt allowed to touch it and that the item was $1,000 and asked him was he really going to buy something. smh so he left and bought what he wanted to get from Kays. but if you like zales go to the southern pines location. they dont profile people there...the lady from corporate zales was very nice and handled my complaint. I would rate their corporate office a 5 on here if I could...tried to call the store for 8 straight hrs and manager never got on the phone with me and I was hung up on 3 times so I called corporate

I have shopped this store for years. All employees AA+ Most all have sold me a piece of Vera Wang over the years. Never had a bad experience once until this year with the manager Carrie.If you know VW (Vera Wang) you can upgrade her rings but have to spend double. NP. I had one picked out I found online. Manager said she would handle everything plus I was having one ring upsized but only if the deal was good to go.Well she sent the ring to be resized before even making sure the deals was good to go. Mistake one! Mistake 2 communication she lacks in. 3 days go by and not a word. Stopped in no manager Marie (excellent sales lady) texted and called her. Found out “managers day off”Can’t trade in this store doesn’t carry one double the size and the one off line I considered a “Custom” and can be done only if you pay out right, take back and do a bunch of other stuff to trade. But I wasn’t customizing it but still considered as one.In short - staff excellent, manager not and since I could not up grade (an early 29th anniversary) like I thought.This will be my last purchase with Zales or any other sister store associated with them.Was a loyal customer for 10 plus years.Maybe one of their competitors has what I need I know Jared does.

I had to pick up my two rings today from being sent out. I just wanted to give them a huge shout out because of their excellent service. There was a problem with my order, to the point where we thought my ring may have been given to the wrong person, and regardless of my attitude or anxiousness the women at the store were extremely helpful, and apologetic. They got the ring back to me and fixed the resizing issue with no problem. At first I was really upset because no one wants their wedding band to be lost, however regardless of the mistake, the associates of this store are great and definitely willing to work with you even if you’re a mess like I was being. I will definitely do more business with this store. Thanks for being awesome

I walk in the store around 5:30 today to look at earrings. There were 3 sales associates in the store and one was within 2 feet of me and wasn’t assisting anyone. It appeared she was arranging the jewelry in the case. The other 2 were just sitting in the bridal/groom section chatting amongst each other. The store wasn’t busy at all. Not one person greeted me, and I was there for at least 5 minutes if not more. Perhaps employees could benefit from training in customer service, because apparently this store has none. I won’t be coming back!

Very professional, and helpful. I bought my fiancee and myself engagement ring, and wedding bands from this zales. I also purchased a pearl necklace as well too. Each time I visited, all three sales persons did great work in their customer service.
