We read some reviews before giving Sweet Tooth a try. We can’t speak to anyone else’s reviews but we can share our opinions on the food and service. To start, the service from calling in to picking us was great. The staff all seemed willing and able to assist us.The macaroon fillings are amazing. We had chocolate, lemon, strawberry and vanilla the macaroons themselves were also great. Even the dog treats smelled delicious. Our dog couldn’t eat them fast enough. Lastly, the strawberry cake we ordered was fresh, fragrant and moist. We will stop by if we’re back in town.And for the 143, “if you know you know”.

This is our go to place when it comes to anything sweet (macarons, cupcakes & cheesecakes). Everything taste absolutely wonderful & recently we ordered a custom cake for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect! Its affordable and very easy to get a quote/ order. Very friendly place. One of our favorite places.

I tried their cheesecake bites, and I absolutely loved both flavors! Perfect proportions with a little wine I found in my refrigerator. I love this bakery and definitely will order again closer to the holidays! Thank you Sweet Tooth

I was excited to try out the cupcakes, but was disappointed. I got a turtle, strawberry, and apple cinnamon cupcake they were just ok. They were kind of dry and didn’t have as much flavor as I expected them to.

Delicious sweets to satisfy your sugar craving. They have plenty of cupcakes, ice cream, cake, cookies, cinnamon buns, and brownies. We went in close to closing time and the two ladies were very nice and welcoming. Definitely coming again, but earlier!

The sweet tooth shop in Fayetteville NC is a cute little place that serves coffee and sweets. The coffee was very good. The bakery items were also good. The staff was friendly. The cupcakes are a little pricey. There is plenty of parking. I would recommend this place.

I had my sons birthday cupcakes made last week for his daycare friends. I showed them (also sent them an email) of exactly what I wanted (which I also inserted a picture of, last picture of my review) and they assured me that they could do exactly that. When I went to go pick it up, I was not happy about how they turned out. The decorations were sloppy and had white stuff all over the fondant and I paid $15 extra to have it on a display board, but that also looked sloppy (had creases all over and was not flat). Ive had lots of custom cakes and cupcakes made, and this was the worst that Ive seen. Thank god I had his cake custom made somewhere else for his party the next day! The cupcakes tasted fine because I bought and tasted them before placing my custom order, I was just highly dissatisfied with the decor and the custom work they did. If I knew that beforehand, I would have just gotten the cupcakes from their display because the cupcakes on display looked way more prettier than my custom made ones.

Ordered with Ubereats if I would have seen the cheesecake or cupcake size beforehand I would have never ordered. $ 7.00 for a sliver of cheesecake the dog treats for $1.40 where bigger then the cheesecake. Total rip-off

I just ordered a chai latte through grub hub. And I consider myself a lover of all chai latter. And Ashley (ironically) made my chai latte and its literally the best one Ive ever had in my life. So if their chai lattes speak for everything else here, its a 10/5 for me

So let me start by saying I’m giving this restaurant or two because Of the customer service not to taste. When I got there my cake was not correct And did not display the picture I requested in the email. I also had to leave without a top for my cake. So my cake was all the way open and exposed to everything. Thus, my cake dried out very fast. I expected better since I paid over $50 for a cake so small.

Good just need more flavors to try

This was my first time at this shop, so I didnt really have any expectations. I waited with no greeting, but I didnt mind because I got to look to see what cupcakes I wanted. I ordered a half dozen, and when I took a bite out of the first one (carrot) I discovered a piece of plastic. It looks like the plastic from icing the cupcakes. The cupcake was very moist, but after that, I couldnt eat the rest of them. Im really disappointed. I was really looking forward to these cupcakes because many people recommended them.To the owner: I came in around 1330 on 3/18/19

Today I experienced a very strong craving for a macaron. I usually purchase them from Amitié Macaron, and I highly recommend them. Having said that, sometimes it is hard to get them from there. This resulted in me requesting my boyfriend to get a macaron from this patisserie near him , as current reviews suggest that they are of a great quality. The previous statement could not be further from the truth. The product that they make is not consistent with an authentic macaron. It would be more appropriately listed as two fairly hard cookies with a marshmallow like substance in the middle. If you find yourself in a similar position , craving an authentic macaron, I recommend searching for different options. If you like the taste of mediocre, and incorrectly advertised bakery items this is your place ! L’horreur!P.S. I am only giving two stars because the lemon flavor itself was good . I purchased lemon and vanilla.

Great cheesecake and kind staff

The taller cake is what I asked for the small cake to look like. The told me the icing wouldnt be the same color because I ordered caramel. Which was fine. What Im disappointed in is the pearls, flowers and shells. First I asked for edible flowers with the pearls in the middle like the example I gave them. Instead I got ugly hard flowers (plastic not edible). The pearls that they put at the bottom of the cake are way to big. Not pearls at all just giant white balls. Absolutely no shimmer to them at all or to the shells. Just ugly white pieces. Also I have never had a cake that had over an inch of icing piled on. It was sooo thick. It was a bit over whelming. I ordered this cake for a anniversary since I didnt have a cake when I got married. This ruined my day. I will not order from here again. The only good thing was it tasted good.

I lost track of my scheduling and needed cupcakes by 5pm same day of request. I contact Sweet Tooth and they were willing fulfill this late request, which i am overly appreciated for. Box of 12 cost about $40, which I wouldnt normally pay but I was in a pinch for something special. The cupcakes were very pretty, but they were a little over cooked which made them a little dry. Not too much but enough that you can tell.

The Turtle Cheesecake was DELISH!!!! Saved me a road-trip to Raleigh. A sweet spot indeed.

I have a gluten sensitivity and have been looking for a place that sells gluten free cupcakes. Sweet Tooth offers two kinds, chocolate and red velvet. I must say they are absolutely delicious!!! I am so happy there is someone close by that I can stop in and get a tasty cupcake from. Thanks Sweet Tooth!!

I have bought cupcakes from this place since it opened. At one time they were good. However, the last 3 times they have been dry and old. Cupcakes are not being made daily as stated in a follow up for another review. The last time I went it was 8:10 in the morning and they tasted like they were a week old. I am not driving back up there to return cupcakes that should be fresh. Thats ridiculous. I just will not go there anymore especially since food lion cupcakes taste fresher than sweet tooth. Food lion charges a lot less for them too.

Never go by another persons reviews.Go in person. We are so excited to have found such a delicious bakery. We will be back! My goal is to try 1 of everything.

I am so happy that I found this place tonight! Not only were the cupcakes absolutely delicious, but the donut my husband got was so dang good. That raspberry filling omg. I was so excited to find out there are vegan options here because my son has a dairy allergy and I’m so excited that we have a cute little spot to go for our cupcakes! The girl working was very attentive and sweet! Reasonable prices and so much to choose from! We will certainly be back!

I’ve had sweets from sweet tooth before and they tasted wonderful but I’m very disappointed with what I had gotten today. The cupcakes I received were dry and hard and tasted like they were almost a week old. I’m alittle upset because I looked forward to having their sweets today just to end up feeling like I’m not a valued customer. Only to get old cupcakes when they are supposed to be made fresh every morning. They were definitely not fresh. From what it seems I am not the only one noticing this from other reviews. I’m sad to say I will not be buying anything from sweet tooth again. I don’t usually post reviews but today it was disappointing enough to have to made one.

I liked that they where nice, very clean. I got a couple of cupcakes for my friends birthday but the cupcakes where super dry and they had a lot of frosting. We end up throwing them away after one bite. I lost 46 dollars. Im only giving three stars because the staff was super nice, other than that Im not buying again from here.

Omg! I had sweet tooth to make my nephew a Sesame Street designed birthday cake and they did an excellent job!! They made my nephews 1st birthday so special. My family and friends complimented on how well the cake was designed and how good it taste. Through this difficult time because of the pandemic, sweet tooth bakery made myself and my families special day more beautiful! I could almost cry and really don’t know how many ways to say thank you Sweet Tooth of Fayetteville!!You’re the best and will forever have me and my entire family as customers. I can in the store today and got a half a dozen cookies I got to read velvet ,two vanilla ,chocolate and strawberry shortcake they were very pretty but really dry. They taste like they have been sitting either over night or all day. I had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to help me and I feel like I waisted $18 when I could have went to the store and got them for half that price I think you guys should take all these review into consideration bc a lot of people have been say the cupcakes are dry and taste old. I won’t be returning!!

After reading the reviews, I went there with an open mind. I’m sad to say that everything we tasted was in fact, dry. We ordered 2 cupcakes, a cake pop, a donut, monkey bread, and a lemon bar. The lemon bar was the only good item. Just in case you want to check out what I ordered—5:15pm 3/21/20.

For those who love macroons I suggest this place. Their macaroons are the epitome of what french macaroons are suppose to be like. Their coffee is just as delicious when you pair them together. I’ve yet to try their ice cream but I will. Their cupcakes are just as sweet and lovely as well. As far as their macaroons, they go quick but you can certainly call and reserve them if you do it early enough. The owner Jamie was a sweetheart and very pleasant to work with. This is the absolute place to go to for those who have a sweet tooth.Side note: as far as their selection of bake goods, they do have a lot they just sell quick if you specifically call in advance and have them set it aside for you they will. And if you’ve never tried macaroons, theirs are pretty good so unless your a baked goods expert on the French don’t bash a shop over something you’ve never tasted before. Either you like it or you don’t

My girls and I went here today for the first time, originally for just macaroons. We ended up get other stuff as well. Unfortunately, it will be our last. There was a very small selection of baked goods to choose from. Less than half the menu, was available. We bought cup cakes, macaroons and cake pops. All of the cake products we bought today tasted old and very dry. This is the first time I have ever had macaroons, so I cant say what they should taste like, but I can only imagine what fresh ones would taste like. These were definitely not fresh. The customer service was not that great either, the person who rang us up, seemed annoyed and unhappy. She wasnt rude, but very unwelcoming. All in all, I was extremely disappointed with this bakery. Maybe week days are better, but do not go here on a weekend.

About a year and a half ago we ordered gender reveal cupcakes from here and they were beautifully decorated. They were a little dry but they were chocolate and I know plain chocolate tends to be drier. Because of the beautiful decorations we decided to stop in today to check on a smash cake and birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday. I love their work and the person helping me was very friendly and helpful. However they wanted $72 for a 6 inch smash cake! I thought that was really high. We ended up going to another local bakery and were able to order the exact same smash cake and they actually do theirs 7 inch for $15! They also wanted $91 for an 8 inch birthday cake whereas the other bakery charged us $30 once again for the same 8 inch birthday cake. So in the end I will say their decorating skills are top notch but just very very pricey! I understand they have overhead, ingredients, etc to buy but somehow other bakeries are able to charge significantly less.

My husband bought me a Gluten Free carrot cake for my birthday. It was the best carrot cake i have had! My second birthday Gluten free and im so glad he found this place. AMAZING!!!

Pretty disappointed/ irritated I was told I could pick up my order if I came to get it bc the grubhub driver was taking too long and then after driving across town I was told my order had been given away! They didn’t even let me purchase anything so i made the drive for no reason!!LOVE LOVE LOVE the food .. not the service.

Great! We stopped for cupcakes this afternoon, and this place was definitely turning over customers! We found the inside to be Kid / family friendly with good seating and water fountains, and a fun window kids can look through into the kitchen.They had at least a dozen flavor options, appealing to both kids and adults taste. Also noted there were several gluten free flavor options.Price for basic cupcake $2.79; gluten free $3.00. There is about $1.50 savings for buying a half dozen (which is what we did!).

The coffee here smacks and the atmosphere is nice. However, I wish that the cashier lady was a bit nicer she kind of sassed my friend which isnt my favorite but then she said some nice things to me about my purse so it evens out. Its kind of expensive and the whipped cream they put on top of their coffee isnt as great as it could be and I kind of wish they had those tall tables but overall I really like the look of the cafe.

We tried a new dessert spot today and it was DELICIOUS! The ice cream and creme cheese brownie were so good. I ate way too much but it was worth it. They have lots of options between cupcakes, ice cream, donuts, cookies, brownies, cheesecake, etc

Once upon a time this was my favorite !! Now it’s seems that the recipe has changed no where near the same. It is absolutely horrible now. I will never go here not to mention for how they taste the cost is too much for a cupcake. I’m a custome to paying 4 dollars a cupcake but not for that dry stuff !!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a 250.00 Royal Baby cake 10/05/2019. I picked up a beautiful looking cake. But, cutting into the cake we realized the very dense, over cooked, heavy, wet feeling cake was inedible!!! My daughter took one bite of the cake, 3 other people tasted a few bites and it was so terrible tasting and unappealing no one ate a full slice. We threw away basically 250.00 in the trash can. I was cheated out of money but my daughter and her husband who suffered a twin loss in January and was suppose to be enjoying a baby shower for their upcoming rainbow baby’s birth in December 2019 was cheated out of enjoying the cake for their Royal prince.😡😡😡😡😡

Its really satisfying. I plan to order a birthday cake from them this summer. Has a wide variety of flavor. Its a little pricey but well worth the money. Only one thing had me down. They have home made dog treats but nothing for cats.

A very nice local bake shop. They were very hospitable to our womens group by allowing us to have our meeting at their shop. This was my first time at Sweet Tooth. I enjoy checking out local bakeries. Sweet Tooths selection was awesome, even at the end of the day. I highly recommend their cookies. I also purchased 6 cupcakes. The German Chocolate was moist and delicious, and the nuts in the icing were a treat! But the wedding cake flavor -- at least the one I ate --- was dry (the cake part) and seemed a bit stale. Maybe it had been sitting out all day? I noticed a few other reviews that said the cupcakes were a bit dry and stale too (here and on their Facebook page). However the almond flavoring of the wedding cake cupcake was yummy, even if the cake part was dry. But I will come again. In fact, Im stopping by for some cookies this week :-)

Ive had Georgetown Cupcakes and when I did I understood why people thought they were so special. I ended up buying some for a few people in my office and ordering dozens to be shipped as Valentines Day and Mothers Day presents. They are by no means run of the mill cupcakes.I didnt think they could be rivaled, especially not by a local baker.Sweet Tooth absolutely matches Georgetown in terms of quality and even beats them on Taste with a few of their flavors. The prices is as expected.If you just want a cupcake for sake of having one, elsewhere would be a better option.If you want an indulgence that you will brag about to someone, only wishing you could offer them the experience of eating one as you describe it, then you owe your soul a visit.

Gluten free cupcakes are small and $3, usually only have the red velvet flavor but sometimes other flavors as well. Cupcakes taste amazing and the coffee is good too.

My family and I love this place. We have ordered a wedding cake and several birthday cakes and they have all been delicious! For the wedding cake we wanted sugar flowers and they advised us to order them because it would be way more expensive if they made them. We did and they set up the cake and added the flowers at no extra charge (there were a lot of flowers).

I started a we made it another week tradition with my daughters to get us through a deployment without daddy since they were having a hard time. Unknowingly I may have created the biggest bonding opportunity for us all. Daddy would get on my postmates account and send girls random cake pops and they looked forward to mommas treat order every week. Daddy is home now but our love of Sweet Tooth has us still making orders! (Chocolate glazed donuts were a huge hit this morning, and we brought dad a huge cinnamon roll on his shift last night along with energy drinks and coffee you guys also offer!) I have never received anything less than perfection and the ONE time they forgot part of my order, they sent extra cake pops with the return order to make up for it! Our one and only go to bakery for everything. The raspberry roadrunner ice cream is life changing btw lol!

Against my better judgment after reading the reviews I ordered anyway I was so ipset and dissatisfied I love sugar cookies I took one piece and was instantly upset I tried each cupcake and the vanilla one I could even finish it was so dry and to much icing I still have 2 cupcakes and both cookies a waste of $17 I should have followed reviews bit I sad everyone taste bids different Im. The cupcakes are wonderful, and that’s kept me returning for more, since being stationed at Fort Bragg. However, the employee with teal hair denied me the military discount they’ve been honoring since I’ve first started purchasing baked goods from them. Her explanation as to why I wasn’t eligible was rather rude. While I am more than capable of paying the extra 10 cents, it’s the principle of her blantant rude attitude toward me regarding a MILITARY discount. Due to this, I will not be returning.

I bought a cake for my sisters baby shower and I loved it! I only bought a One tiered cake (b/c of the price) but it was definitely bigger than I expected. The lines were clean and the cake tasted great. Will be going with them from now on and is definitely worth the price.

I recently ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for a bachelorette party and I will say that they were all delicious! They did the design almost exactly as I wanted and they were ready for me to pick up when I came in.Now the negatives about my experience was that I ordered 4 different flavors for the cupcakes and was told that they were able to accommodate me. However, at 6 a.m. of the day that I was supposed to pick up my order, I was called and they said that they never got the shipment for one of my flavors and that they couldnt make those cupcakes. It was explained to me that I could pick two other flavors instead to replace it. I decided to do half and half but was promptly called back again just to say they didnt have the substitute flavor either.This did upset me because they shouldve known when their shipment would arrive and tell me in advance instead of springing it on me the morning of pickup day. It felt as if they did that on purpose so that I wouldnt cancel my order and ask for my partial payment back which is exactly what I wouldve done because I needed all those flavors for the bride as they were her favorite.Also, telling me that I could pick a substitute flavor just to call back and say that it wasnt available either seemed a bit ridiculous. I would expect for you to know for sure since you are giving me bad news and trying to make it better.All in all my experience with Sweet Tooth Shop was okay customer service wise but the cupcakes were delicious.

I love the red velvet cupcakes. Every bite is delicious. I go there when I want to treat myself to a special sweet treat. There is a lot to choose from. Coffee also.

Best bakery in Fayetteville! I have had many bakery and coffee products from Sweet Tooth and enjoyed them all, especially the variety of cupcakes. Customer service is always on point. They did mention they can do just about any order with a good timely notice. I will be a returning customer.

I love this place! However, lately they have been slacking on French macarons, each time I have gone in they are out. Its the only place in town that I know of that makes them there(a few have them come in from other places). Also, they have a good selection of cupcakes to include gluten free. I have never ordered a cake there, so I cannot speak on that.

Great little hole in the wall. We went in to get out of the sun for a conversation with a colleague and bought cookies and they were amazing. Bit overpriced, though.

LOVE this place, If it wasnt far to drive to get coffee I would go here every morning to get Carmel macchiato it is the only place that makes it just right and way better than Starbucks. Oh and the cupcakes.. are so delicious love getting cupcakes for my son here!

Best Iced Mocha Ive had in Fayetteville area. Not too sweet, just right! Lots of great looking deserts and they can apparently make any Coffee or Espresso drink you can imagine.

The customer service was not great for my first time experience at this store. Apparently mopping the floor was a more important task than serving customers. I stood at the register for about a minute before I was addressed. The employee also failed to wash her hands before she served me my pastries after she stopped mopping the floor. She did use the plastic gloves to shield her hands from the food, but her hands were not in the gloves. Not sure if Ill be returning to this bakery.TO THE OWNER: My visit was on March 15th between 6 and 6:30pm

Terrible macarons! They are not macarons at all they are like a piece of bad cake with a chunk of over sweet icing topped with another piece of bad cake. I had vanilla and it was colored pink and it had that strong color flavor twang to it. I was so mad I wasted my money on them. I thought they looked funny before I bought them but I didnt feel like driving all the way to Raleigh to get the ones I normally get. Big mistake on my end. Next time I will make the drive to get great macarons. Also the girl working there I honestly dont even think she knew she was working there. She was like spaced out and when I was asking her a question she just looked at me like she didnt understand. With food that bad and service like that I do not know how they are even open. I should have read these reviews before I went in and I could have saved money and my taste buds!

Went there today after I dropped off my dogs next door...had a brownie with nuts... old and tasted like its been in the freezer. I told the person at the counter and she tasted the brownie and agreed with me...no apology, no offer of anything else. Very disappointed

Couple of times I went my experience wasnt terrible, but unfortunately the last time I went the owner was extremely rude. Ive never been to a bakery where if you ask them to write 8 simple letters they make it seem like its the hardest & most time consuming thing to do, and then will only do it but they will charge you $15.

Love this place.....just changed my lifestyle to vegan and this place adds to the big change with delicious vegan cupcakes and gluten free items.
