I loved my experience dress shopping here. It was the first time I went dress shopping and after trying on 4 dresses I found the one. I told them my budget was up to $1000 and they had tons of dresses off the rack for under $1000 to look into. I was never offered any our of my budget. The lady that helped me (Trish) was super sweet, really helpful and not pushy at all. She was genuinely crying with us when I found the dress!! They also have a lady that does the tailoring, I havent done this yet but the estimate was pretty affordable. I would highly recommend! In covid season I made an appointment and 2 people are allowed to go with the bride. The whole shop was empty just for us most of the time so it was really safe! I lost track of time but I think we were there close to 2h. I left with my dress on hand supper happy!

My sister and cousin purchased their wedding dresses from here. My cousin actually purchased two wedding dresses from this shop. My sister also ordered her bridesmaids dresses from the shop. The girl that helped her told her the dress that was picked out came in the color she wanted. However, when the dresses came in the color was no where near close to what they were supposed to be.The girl took no accountability what so ever for the mistake. She told my sister that the owner was coming up to the shop. And that they would give only half the purchase price back on the dresses. After waiting for over two hours for the owners, the girl stated that they were not in town. She knew this from the start!!! Then said that the owner states that no money could be given back and we had to keep the dresses or leave without them and no money. She finally called them back and they agreed to give $70.00 back for a dress that cost $171.19.The girl should have taken accountability for her mistake!!! But she would rather have upset clients and lose out on business than to make things right. Even after three wedding dresses were purchased from them, they didn’t care about keeping a client and making them happy regardless what their policy is. All policies can be changed depending on the situation, especially when an employee made a mistake.I’m getting married myself in the spring. Guess where I will not go to purchase anything for wedding!

Worst service ever, and very rude. The sales associate who’s name was not given followed us around the store staring, while we looked at dresses an informed the bride she only had a small selection of her size (4 dresses). The bride asked to try on a dress and was not allowed because her budget was only $500 and “her” as in the associate says “her” dresses were way more in price.

Upon arriving at the store nobody greeted us then when we asked to try on bridesmaids dress the employee took us to the back and was no help she did not speak so we choose what we would like to try on went into the dressing room and the lady only allowed me to try one dress and said oh I can not let her try on anymore. She would not allow me to try on anymore because I was bigger but told me I had to order a dress in my size and pay for it so why would I do that if I dont know what I want. This place is discriminating against women and I will not buy from here and I will spread the word.

I went for my bridal appointment today with an open mind due to the reviews being completely great and very poor reviews. However, my experience was beyond amazing! I found my wedding dress and the consultant was very patient, understanding, and helpful and I was very pleased with the selection (it may not be for everybody depending on style) but there is a wide variety to choose from in my opinion!

We are living in Germany and was trying to find a prom dress and couldnt find any my daughter liked. My husband went to North Carolina for a few days and I called Bridal & Formal Center. Ms. Connie was so helpful. She sent me pictures of prom dresses to my phone for my daughter to see. Also, she sent pictures of shoes that would go perfect with the dress. My daughter decided on a dress and shoes that Connie had sent us. Connie went above and beyond sending pictures and calling back and forth. Thank you so much for helping us.

I stopped by today and only had about an hour to find a formal dress for a special event. Dana was the person who helped me and she was incredible!!! I shared with Dana exactly what I was looking for in regards to style, budget, and fit and she was able to help me find numerous dresses that were beyond my expectations! I bought my wedding dress from here. I asked the seamstress if she could remove the sleeves for me to create my one of a kind dress and she did a fantastic job I wasnt sure she would pull it off but it was amazing and breathtaking. I want to say thank you to everyone that had a hand in making my wedding extra special. Will definitely be returning when my girls look for prom dresses.

I would like to say the ladies there are great but the dress I purchased for my daughter was poorly made. We found a beautiful dress Saturday that fit her perfectly, but unfortunately lasted her one day. We had to take it back the same day because we found a rip in it. They fixed it and I was grateful until the next day when she had to actually wear it. The outside lace part of the dress ripped within an hour, not in the same area. It was my first time buying a dress from them and I believe it will be my last. The overall quality of the dress was bad.

My friend made an appointment to look for her wedding dress. We arrived early to her appointment and not one person asked if we needed help. We waited at the front counter for 10 min. When we informed the employees that we had an appointment, they all seemed bewildered. No one assisted her in looking for dresses, and they all seemed so eager to leave because the shop was closing at 4:00. Very disappointed. If I could give this zero stars I would.

I stopped in yesterday and saw Connie. She was very personable and helped me try on some wedding dresses. Although I didnt find anything she was very customer oriented.I will say I wish they had more variety in dresses for women over a size 14/16. Especially since wedding dresses can fit smaller than street sizes.

I went in on Sunday,looking for a wedding dress ,low and behold , I think I can say YES ,to the dress ! It’s a toss up ,between 2 . We’re shooting for Fall with our special day .One requires so alterations,to get it JUST THE WAY I WANT. Yet ,there is some speculation whether or not the seamstress can get the exact stones , to add on the sleeves ,which would complete this particular dress . I am just not certain ,IF,I want to take the chance ,for it to be “matched up” or not . Now ,this other dress ,is just perfect the way it is , so now I have to just make a decision... There was an associate,named Mayra, she was just phenomenal! Her personality is on point ,she was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a wedding dress ,formal wear or that perfect prom dress ,to ask for her personally ! With that being said ,I have one more place to look Wednesday,before returning to this establishment. Decisions ,decisions .....

Wow !! I was so surprised when I went into the store, the place is huge and they have a tremendous selection of gowns. From the moment I went in I knew I would find the gown I wanted for the ball. They have a great selection of jewelry and shoes as well. For my wedding, I found the perfect dress, shoes, which the owner even dyed to match my bridesmaid dresses, veil, jewelry, tiara, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, mother of the bride and groom dresses, and even the crinoline to go under my dress! When you go in there, ask about their cups! They are amazing!!! I love how the owners are even on the floor helping out customers!! They are the sweetest couple and truly want to help you find your dream gown.

I worked with Connie for a couple hours looking for my beach wedding dress and she was absolutely amazing! She had a bunch of new hires and even though it was a busy Sunday for them, she made me feel taken care of and made it fun. After a terrible experience at Davids Bridal on Skibo, it was exactly what I needed. I left with the perfect dress and a smile on my face.

I want to thank Ms. Dana for helping me tonight. I have been looking at particular bridal gown online by Allure. After trying on several gowns, Ms. Dana said Ill be right back. My goodness she came back with the gown I had been looking at online. I cried, it was everything I wanted. She was patient and very help. Im soooooo happy. Thank you so much. The bridal and formal center is a wonderful place to find the perfect dress. My fiance and her family came in and almost immediately found the one. The staff and owners were a tremendous help. You can tell they have passion for what they do and it makes the experience so much better.

Found the dress I wanted in November of 2016 for an October 2017 wedding, had a mail in payment applied to someone elses account, waited over an hour for the alterations person to arrive for our appointment in August, called to confirm my dress you be ready to wear for my pickup appointment, just 2 weeks before my wedding. I would bet money that alterations werent started until the night before pickup, my gown had not been steamed and I spent more time waiting for it to be steamed than I did in the dress that day. The extra material that we would have had, they suggested a belt with it, wasnt available because it had been incorporated back into the dress which it clearly had not been. The day of my event, a few of my alterations didnt hold including my bustle. One thing I will say the abysmal performance from this company did not ruin my day so good luck ladies and avoid this place to avoid the stresses leading to your big day.

I visited the Bridal & Formal Center last weekend and had an amazing experience! They have many options for wedding dresses, varying in prices! Theres a couture room in the back - its a must see! Katelyn helped me that day and opened my mind to lots of different styles. She was very patient... as I was there with my mom for four hours! Finally, I said yes to the dress! Thanks to Katelyn, I was able to find the dress of my dreams!

When we went to bridal & Formal the young lady there was so attentive & made sure she listen to what my daughter was looking for and found the perfect dress. I selected my bridesmaids dresses from this store. They were highly recommended by a friend because thy have a variety of dresses. I enjoyed having the wide variety of dresses to choose from. However, they charge you heavily for alterations. One of my bridesmaids had to pay 118.00 for a hem and a running stitch. The last 2 dresses were to be ready on Friday (the day before the wedding). When 2 of my bridesmaids went to go pickup their dresses, they were not ready because someone forgot about them. My bridesmaids were told to come back the next day at 11. My sister paid for alterations and the alterations were not even done. Her dress was halter style, so we had to tie the halter around her neck in order for the dress not to fall off.

I just want to take the time out to say thank you for helping me look beautiful on my special day. I drive 4 hours for a year to make sure this dress was the one in I must say I look AMAZING. But special thanks to Taylor.

Finding your dream wedding dress can be a frustrating experience, but the staff was very patient and helped me find the perfect one. We took a dress that was $99 dollars and turned it into a custom princess dress and stayed within my budget. The staff made sure I was very happy.

Really wasn’t impressed with the selection I was looking for. If you want a A-line silhouette with lots of lace, you might be in luck, but you’re S.O.L if you want a plain ball gown with not much beading or lace.Didn’t feel as though my consultant was giving me her undivided attention. Overall just wasn’t the best experience as my first time dress shopping. The only positive was this appointment helped me narrow down my dress size.... since my “consultant” didn’t even take my measurements.

I really think some of you ought to get over the whole race card thing. Its BORING. ***My experience here was and always has been good. I got a dress here for a ball in April 2017. Ive shopped there recently, and ive never had any issues with the dresses being dirty, in fact, I notice some are wrapped in plastic so as to avoid oils and other dirt transfer onto the dresses. The girls seem to be happy to be there. My dress was like a suit of jewels, black sheer dress with nude colored material underneath. Gorgeous. They had the bottom of the dress altered for me, dont recall any issues here either. Nice store, and they wont reorder your dress and sell it again until after your event, so you know someone will probably not have the same dress, at least not from this store. Lots of choices. All very pretty dresses, reasonable prices also.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!!! The dresses here are filthy and for some strange reason after they rent them out to customers they do not think it is necessary to clean them (Per employees response). This is the nastiest dress shop I have ever been to, even the shoes they have here are all filthy and run through like they came fresh out of a flea market. I feel that if they are going to sell stuff like this they shouldnt try to overcharge and if so, at least clean the clothes. Additionally, I noticed even after I told a worker there that I did not need assistance, because I was with someone else that was viewing their clothing, the employer still felt the need to spy on me (how weird). Any who, youre better off going to a thrift store or even salvation army has better standards for their clothing.

I went in during the season of prom even though I was looking for my wedding dress. They made feel so special!!! I didnt feel like I was fighting little teenagers for attention and assistants. Also I ended up picking the total opposite of what I thought I was looking for before I entered. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone!

THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY !Minimum wage job for commissioned work. While the manager is on top of things, the owners are not competent and will do what ever it takes to make a penny... or save one. They encourage employees to lie to customers about dresses that are in stock and their ability to order it - and to do what ever possible to get money down from the customer which is non refundable. The store itself isnt exactly the healthiest place to work either - the back room has mouse traps in it and the main room is littered with dead roaches on a daily basis.

My name is Lenisha. I walked in to try on wedding gowns with my cousin around 4:30, and a lady came out asked how may I help you followed by no name. She told me I had to make an appointment. Which I know I didnt because I have been here a few times before already, so I know for a fact that I didnt have to make a appointment. I am an African American female by the way. Shortly after looking through the dresses she comes back out and says Monika was going to help us because she was busy in the back and she was not to me because she was back and forth outside on her phone. Monika did a great job with us and helped us the way it was suppose to be done.

I honestly wish I could leave one star. After trying on a couple of dresses, the black lady who helped me only made me feel bad about myself and the dresses I liked. She told me in a rude way I wasnt skinny enough to look good in the dresses I wanted. I also was told that I was not able to afford the dresses, so why try them on? I had a bad experience and would not recommend unless you are under a size 10.

Ive been to this store a couple of times. First for my prom dress. Then a bridesmaid dress, and now for a wedding dress, and every time, the girls have been so helpful and sweet, and Ive always found just what I need.

I went to this store about 3 times. Every single time I went, the store had its lights ON and the open sign was always on. Every single time it was closed. No sign giving an excuse or saying what time someone would be back to open. There was only one car in the parking lot, Im not sure if it belonged to an employee. I also called the place a few times but no one answered. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE, WHO EVER MANAGES IT NEEDS TO GET THEIR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT. I have no problem taking my business elsewhere.

This place doesnt even deserve the one star i gave it!! I am a transgender woman coming into this store to find a coming out joke. I wasn’t able to use the dresses room, i had to change in the men’s bathroom, after telling them i am transgender, further more they treated me like i was a joke. There was no welcoming warmth or support. Don’t give this discriminating business your business. Go to David’s Bridal or bridal and pageant connection. I would file a better business bureau but they dont handle discrimination. Waist your timebwith this rude and unprofessional business.

I purchased my wedding gown and bridesmaids gowns here over the weekend and had a wonderful experience. My family and I were greeted at the door and a salesperson came to help us immediately. She asked what I was looking for and gave me books to help me narrow down my search. From there, Donna helped me every step of the way and was upbeat and pleasant the entire time. There was a large selection to choose from and the staff gauged my interests and then took me to the section of the gowns that I described. They helped me to pick out my own gowns and helped me to try them on. They made suggestions about sizing, alterations, and also showed me jewelry, veils and more accessories. I ordered bridesmaids gowns from here that are not carried in any other store. Overall, all of the staff members were friendly and made the entire experience a pleasant one for me. I highly recommend coming here to search for a bridal gown. They have the best selection in Fayetteville and surrounding areas and the best customer service skills you could ask for! They are more interested in helping you find what you are looking for than pushing you in the direction of things you will not like.

I was in desperate need of a pageant dress for my 4-year-old daughter when I just accidentally found Bridal & Formal Center. I walked in the store without an appointment and to my surprise found the perfect dress. Which by the way my daughter got many complements on. Kandice was very patient and understanding because not only did I have a 4-year-old with me but also my very curious 11-month-old baby. Kandice made sure my daughter loved her dress and also took the time to google the proper length needed for her particular pageant. Horrible customer service. Over priced. Bought a dress and had some beading fixed. Went to go pick it up and they completely changed all of the beading and replaced with sequin. When I asked about they said, you dont like it? No apologies. No refund or discount. HORRIBLE. Stay away.

They didnt help pick any dresses when we came in. They told us to just look through the store.After finding nothing but old cheap dresses in the main part of the store, we were informed they had a special room that they only let some people come in. But we could only look if our price range was high enough. She didnt care about what style we were looking for, just the price and the designer. Only the bride and one other person could go in and only the bride was aloud to turn the dresses, because they didnt want us to harm their expensive gowns some of these dresses are 3,000!. The bride couldnt even take them off the rack. And let me tell you these were not that nice. Nor that expensive if you know what nice wedding gowns usually cost.It was the worst experience iv had and the bride decided to leave just because of how poorly we were treated and talked to by the staff, who were clearly not trained in customer service or knew anything about wedding dresses at all.I am only writing this review because I wouldnt want any bridal parties to have the experience we did. Go anywhere but here.

I went here today “just looking” at wedding dresses!!! Went in the door thinking “this will be yet another wasted trip”, left out feeling like Bride of the year!! I FOUND MY DRESS!!! I must say that from the moment I walked through the door the staff made me feel as if I was the only Bride that has ever existed! They were amazing and I must say my Dress is just as amazing!! Lol!! I can’t wait to walk down the isle in my stunning dress!!Oh Yea, Kandice is definitely THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!

Great store with friendly service and an excellent selection of gowns in a variety of sizes for any formal occasion. Having alterations on site is very convenient , the Bridal and Formal Center is a one stop shop for all of your formal occasion needs.

Kandice was absolutely amazing. I definitely would recommend going there to find your wedding gown. I already left a review on there Facebook page. But they have so many selections on gown and styles thats what makes that store so great! There prices arent that bad either. They also offer lay a way. Perfect for anyone with a budget!

Update*** so the shop lost their seamstress. When I bought the dress I was told they have a seamstress and she will fix the dress. Which didnt happen....They recommended another place and those folks told me they dont do bead work. I really like the girls that work there and the dresses are beautiful because I returned to find another dress and everyone was hands on deck. They were nice to do an exchange but no refund. Not the best place to find a wedding dress honestly. Because if they dont have a seamstress then you wont be able to get your dress altered unless you take it to Raleigh or find someone else in town. The place I did take it ended up butchering it so there is that.... just a real disappointment. I give it a lower rating because I think the owner should have given me the refund on the 250 dollar dress or the 30% original discount on another dress. The alternative was a dress that cost $1000. But!!!! The girls there are the best still go there to check out your dress options.-----I went in twice. The first time the three women graciously helped me try on about 7 dresses. They explained how the tailoring works and what they could do on 3 months notice and such. Very helpful and even picked out several dresses I really rather liked myself but overlooked. The best part is they have a vintage gown section. Very affordable and very special. I wanted to sleep on it and returned the next day to buy the gown after I tried the dress on several more times and many others. Highly recommend you visit this place and skip all others. They were very helpful and nice. Excited to see what the alterations will look like.

Bridal and Formal Center was my last stop in hopes for my dream dress. After falling in love with the lace from a beautiful gown. They start clipping me and the dream I had of walking down aisle was a reality. After weeks of trying on dresses that were pretty but just not quite perfect. Miss Janette created a custom piece for me. The amount of love and care she put into my custom dress makes my heart so full. The employees all stop to talk to us at my fittings. Miss Janette has worked so hard on my dress and my custom veil and I am so excited to walk down the aisle in my one of a kind dress. Seriously check them out. No other place can tweak or change something you like into something you will absolutely love. Thank you Bridal and Formal Center for making my dream dress an affordable and beautiful reality.Side note about the secret room: I went in multiple times with one other person from my bridal party and tried on quite a few dresses. You can touch the gowns. How else will you be able to see the whole dress? The room was magical. And they dont tell you about normally unless they know your budget can meet those needs. Why have a bride fall in love with a dress she can not afford.Patience is an important part of life, and if you go during a busy time yes there will always be wait times.
