Such nice friendly service. Few fishing gear clothing lines such as Dirty Hooker and Calcutta. (I like the Dirty Hooker line) priced same as what you would find on line. They have a grill that opens Mon - Sat. I do have to come back and try that food. About 20 different flavors of ice cream served here as well. Tried their Pralines Pecan, Blue Berry Cheesecake, & Banana Pudding flavor. Really good!! The older Gentleman that served me and my other half was super friendly and was talkative and informative. The others working the shop are definitely approachable and friendly as well. Seemed family ran with how well everyone was working together. Definitely need to come back. They have live (local) bands that come as well.

I dont go there very often but everytime I do i always get great service. They carry good products at fair prices. But like every single store you go to they do have some items that seem slightly over priced to me.Theyll gladly help you out and answer any questions you may have to the best of their abilities.

Run by great down to earth people. They live fishing and they enjoy providing assistance and service to those in the community that share the same passion. Every time I go there they feel like family! They stock great products and even support local brands and companies.

Great place, good people Tom is very helpful Vietnam veteran so prepare to hear a great story about the draft and about the biggest fish he ever caught. Great guy and theyre more than happy to share their secret spots to find the monster fish. Theres a small deli attached for some good greasy food. Love this place.

The man that runs the shop every time Im in there is awesome. Hes very knowledgeable and very helpful. Hes very nice to my son who bugs him all the time about different lures and bait lol. Its not the closest bait shop to me but Im happy with the travel knowing Im getting the best service!

It is now called Deep fitters and they carry all your line of fishing equipment and homemade ice cream and its a very enjoyable place to go to and you can find just about anything that youre looking for and theyre very helpful and when you get through looking in there go next door to the grill and have lunch or have supper wonderful food

Not as friendly to new customers, and assumes you know what they offer opposed to telling you what they offer. Over all a decent bait shop. Give only three stars because literally 100 meters away the place is filled with bums under the bridge that liter and make you feel uncomfortable. Not the bait shops doing, but you feel as though they would have the bums run off.

They have lots of fishing equipment including live bait minnows live eels also serves food name has been changed to Deep Creek Outfitters you can find them on Facebook.

This place has a great selection of live and cut bait They have a pretty wide range of tackle to.The only thing I have a problem with is some of the boat operators dont​ respect the individuals that are fishing off the shore line.Some are good for slowing down an I really do appreciate that but for the other half that dont lets try and find​ it in your hearts to be a little thoughtful about others an not just yourself . We stopped for ice cream, which was great, and were surprised by how friendly the entire staff were. We will definitely return.

Cant post the video for size I guess, but itll on my FB page later, Cape Fear river earned its name today with the river overflow height at 52 above normal and still rising! A little outta my league for kayaking, hehehe, wouldnt want a floating tree or piece of house to get me!

Was just there the other day. Introduced myself, asked a few questions about some events coming up took a look around and left. The man was polite, professional and friendly. Good little spot to access the river and get away while staying local. There is a bit of trash along the river, but thats on the people who show up and act carelessly. I will be going back quite often

DO NOT GO HERE! The workers look at you like youre a criminal. This one time my friend and I were looking and we didnt buy anything and one of the workers chased us down to river accusing us of stealing.

So sad that my nephew was profiled in this store and accused of shoplifting. I will never send my kids to this store again. You should be ashamed of yourself.
