First time using Wagenhaus and I am SO impressed! They treated me like a valued customer who had been with them for years, repaired my old VW diesel and made me feel as valued as the fancier / newer cars I saw at their shop. My car runs great!! They were very skilled and thorough (found and repaired things I knew were issues but had not mentioned - those things you just deal with - because no one could fix the problem before.) and reasonable priced. Quality and highly skilled service all around. Very happy! Highly recommend this shop.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The customer service is top notch, Missy is quick to respond and is ALWAYS kind and helpful. My husband and I have two cars that Wagenhaus has been servicing for three years now and I have never been disappointed once. To have a business care about you and your service needs is rare, but Wagenhaus is always there!!!!! 100% recommend. Thankyou Wagenhaus!

I took my car to them to get serviced. They claim they would fix the car. They put the first part in the car. Car still didn’t run. I finally got a diagnosis done. They told me that it was the original problem that I expressed to them. I had already rented a car. Took them almost 2 weeks to fix the problem and the car still didn’t work. They told me that it could be something else and it would take more than 2 weeks to fix the problem because they was backed up with cars.I called Shane’s Automotive and had them tow my car to their shop. Shane’s fixed my car quickly and it’s running beautiful. After everything with Wagenhaus the part they put on the car that they had me pay for came from the junkyard and they broke the fuel pump wire. The car wouldn’t start because when they went under the seat to put the fuel pump in they never connected the wires back correctly. I will never take my car back to them. They state they were so busy and it would take weeks for my car to be finished but when we went there to have the car towed somewhere else they were sitting around doing nothing. That don’t look like busy. If you want your car done right with professionals take it to Shane’s Automotive off of Cedar Creek Road in Fayetteville NC

Scumbags. Said they would charge me $150 to drill out a broke stud. Service completed. Give me the invoice to pay, almost $200. I ask the girl who gave it to me who is also the girl who quoted me $150 why it isnt $150 as she quoted. She says she forgot their service rate per hour went up to $160. Really?! Then why is it almost $200. She says tax. I point out on the invoice where tax is $11 and some change. $160 + $11 isnt $200. They refused to correct it and insisted I paid the nearly $200. I went here based on a recommendation. Take MY recommendation and be assured these people are the dishonest crook shops you hear about all the time. They are not honest. Stay far, Fay away. Thieving liars right here! On top of all of that, when I get my car back, my just-painted caliper is scratched to the metal and has to be painted again!

Took my BMW X3 in to Wagenhaus because my check engine light came on and I got a drivetrain malfunction error. They had it for two days to diagnose the problem but could not replicate the issue nor find anything at all wrong with the car. They did a thorough multipoint inspection too. I expected at least a several hundred dollar bill for all of that but they said no charge since they couldn’t diagnose a problem. They were courteous and professional all around. They have my business in the future for sure. Very pleased!

The visit was very disappointing and was a waste of my time and money..I was so pleased with the service I received at my first visit I went in to see why my heater wasnt working explained to them that antifreeze was leaking only when I turn on the heater or the defrost on. I was provided with a list of everything else that was wrong with my car including the heater issue. I paid the $138 for them to diagnose the issue. Schedule an appointment to bring my car back in for heater to be repaired I received a call less than 1hr after they opened and told me that the heater issue was not what they had told me and the total went from $200 to $600. The young lady told me that she was sorry but for me that just wasnt enough I understand it was not her fault.. but ..I paid for them to diagnose that one thing the heater and I am thankful for them telling me about the other things but that was not what I took my car in for. She didnt offer me anything no discount no credit from them missing the problem when they diagnosedto go towards the repair or anything but then said to me they was not charging me for what they did that day when the only thing they did was what they was supposed to do the first time so I am very disappointed in Wagenhaus and i dont think I would do business there again unless they made this right.. Ill take it to the dealership where at least I feel like they would take full ownership with there mistake and tried to make it right. Im sorry but I must let ppl know about my experience, Because I only went because of other reviews. Unfortunately my review is not a good one

Asked them well in advance with a punch list of things to be addressed on my 1993 UK RHD Defender 90, was assured they could do all the repairs no problem. However took them a month to finally say what they found, confirming what I informed them initially. I had to tell them where to find the parts for the repairs and then another few weeks passed and they claimed again they didn’t know where to find the parts, so again I informed them and miraculously parts were ordered yet then they claim they couldn’t do the suspension...Now it’s 3 months and still the vehicle isn’t repaired. And now claim there are wheel lug locks, which when we looked it over this wasn’t the case. So now it has me wondering if my vehicle has been sitting this whole time and NOW they are starting repairs...I’ve since relocated out of state and had to leave it behind waiting on them at their mercy and hopefully they aren’t stringing it along to complete other jobs. First in, first out? This was supposed to be a quick turn around and it is now going to cost me extra to have it shipped since it wasn’t completed with in the first quoted timeline. I wish I could give them better rating but at this point I’m severely irritated and would not recommend this company.

After going to Wagenhaus with my Mercedes S63 I will never, ever carry it anywhere else for service. Jim and his crew are the best. I originally carried my car there to have the rear shocks replaced. These guys were half the price of the dealer and unlike the local Mercedes dealer, these guys are a pleasure to do business with. Most importantly, they stand behind their work. 6months after having the work done the passenger rear shock developed a slight leak. Nothing that Wagenhaus did or didnt do...it was a defect in the part. Carried the car back to Wagenhaus and Jim replaced BOTH rear shocks under warranty. After inquiring why he was replacing both rear shocks when only one developed a leak Jim told me that to do the job right, both shocks needed to be replaced again as a pair. Keep in mind that this is a 6 hour job with my cars Active suspension. Im sure that most other shops would have only replaced the one defective shock and sent me out the door at the best. These guys are honist, very proficient in their work and half the price of the dealer at the very least. Carry your Euro car to Wagenhaus and let their professionals take care of you. You will not regret it!!!

Stay far far away from this place unless you have money to give away. Took my Benz there and they kept it for a month before they even told me what was wrong with it. Every time I called they gave me some excuse about mechanics being on vacation or they couldn’t get the fuel pump cover off WTH. They called me and told me that I needed a $2100 repair because my rear SAM module burned out and it also burned out the fuel pump. This turned out to be partially false as the SAM module did not burn out. all I had to do was remove it and clean it. The fuel pump did burn out but I got a replacement for $350 and $80 for labor. It took the mechanic 45 min to remove the old pump and install the replacement. I waisted a lot of money at wagenhaus. I was left with a $350 diagnostic fee(the price of a new pump) and a car that still would not start. And let’s not forget the towing Fees to get it there then the tow to my home costing $160. If you guys reimburse me I will give you another star but I will never refer anyone to this place. I just wish I had read the REAL reviews before having my car towed there.

I have been using Wagenhaus for the past 10 years and never had one bad experience. From oil changes to starters, water pumps, radiators, tires, even repairing my power windows no problems. Both of my cars were BMW’s and they have done more than I ask for.Of course you will pay more for these cars but all you can ask for is honesty, the sad thing is that in the past 10 years more people have seen the fine work that they are doing so the wait time getting your car in for a non-emergency might be a day or two longer but worth the wait. Can’t say enough about the owner he’s been one fine person and you can tell that this is a family business by the way he appreciates his business.Could not recommend any other auto shop that works on European cars and I have lived in fayetteville for over 40 years.I made a mistake and let a shop change my brakes in Hope Mills and it cost Me Dearly. So people with a older BMW make sure you know where to go, whatever the job is they will do it.I just looked at some of the negative reviews and it really blew my mind because evidently those people didn’t shop around, I just could not see how one would think that they are going to get FREE service or realize how expensive it is to work on foreign autos..If they could not give them an average rating then they should have not even committed.

The first time I took my 2007 Volkswagen to The Wagenhaus, I had a lot of issues. I went it to get a transmission/engine seal fixed, but had to keep going back because they failed to install the hardware properly, as in, they forgot to bolt my transmission to my engine, so I had to take it back. The second time I had to take it back (all in the same course of the seal being fixed), the windshield wipers that were installed flew off during a rainstorm, in traffic, an hour after being installed. I was appalled at how much I paid ($1,500+) for these kind of errors. Forgetting to bolt a transmission to the engine is quite simply negligence. I was out of a car for a little over a week.About a year later, my car started jumping and shaking again, very similar to when the transmission was not bolted. I feared that perhaps the bolts had backed out, and I asked them to take a look at it after explaining my previous experience; the woman at the front desk did not seem to believe my story, because they didnt make records for the times I had to take it back, only the original service.Jim looked at it for us, but it took 2 days (I picked it up before they called to say it was done because I felt that kind of time was ridiculous) to determine whether the transmission was bolted properly or not. He determined it was okay, and I will say that he was true to his word and did not charge us for looking (although the front desk girl felt otherwise). For the price you pay for supposed dealership quality work, a lot is lacking. Im not sure who worked on my car the first time, but clearly those kinds of mistakes are unacceptable, especially considering peoples safety. The fact that I was afraid that the transmission installation was done poorly a year later is pretty telling (they were the only people to have touched the transmission).I feel like everything has been resolved, but I wont be going back. I appreciate Jim checking the transmission bolts for free, but slow turnaround time and fear of future issues directly related to their work is a deal breaker for me.

Before I walked into the service desk, I noticed that one of the repair bay was empty and one of the service persons was sitting in a chair doing nothing. Now, when you are told that you are backed up with other cars to repair, I would expect all the repair bays to be full and all the service personnel to be elbow deep in a car engine. I brought in my Audi because the secondary air pump was making a loud noise. I was told that it was due to my alternator not outputting the correct voltage since it was a Bosch that was purchased from Autozone just down the street. I was told, verbatim, You shouldnt put Chinese parts on German cars.Last time I checked, Bosch is located in Gerlingen, near Stuttgart, Germany. This is the first example of nonsensical and disingenuous information passed from business to consumer. The mere geographic error and the assumption that I, the customer, am an idiot is egregious. To this end, Id like to say that it is impossible to find a Chinese alternator as Audi has a Bosch and Valeo model which are German and French respectively.Over $900 later, I find out that the alternator that was replaced by Wagenhaus was, I quote, The exact same alternator -- but the difference is this comes with a warranty if it dies again. Keep in mind that I was told that the secondary air pump is just fine. As of the writing of this review, it howls on a cold engine start. Its noteworthy to say that the technician listed my shocks as passing for the QA check along with my fluids. I thought that was interesting considering my shocks are disintegrated and the mounts are resting on the struts in pieces. I was told that next time I bring it in, they will take a look at it for free. (The courtesy check is ALWAYS free).Additionally, my engine was smoking. I was told that it was my valve cover gaskets. ($900) and that EVERY other component was functional in regards to oil seal.I saved up, I paid the $900. Buyer beware: The technician did NOT clean up around the area. The work was sloppy and was re-worked under warranty. I was without a vehicle for a week.My engine is still smoking. I was told that it was my camshaft endcaps. I was quoted again roughly $900. Why? Because the process involves new valve cover gaskets -- again. I called Audi. They said its normal procedure to have these done at the SAME TIME. Apparently, its normal procedure for Wagenhaus to get paid twice for the same work.I checked also about the shocks. They said it was fine again. I purposely checked all of my fluids beforehand. Power steering didnt register, but the technician marked OK to everything again. The oil was on the min mark when I arrived home. After I got my warranty work completed, I forced one of the technicians to inspect my shocks with me present. I was presented with a quote of $1500. And wow those dont look good at all. Insane.Ive always been a firm believer in local business. I work for a local business myself. I however, will NEVER go to Wagenhaus again. I will NEVER look like a fool by recommending them to my friends. I WILL pay Audi $120/h for labor since I get a free rental anyways included with the work. Its simply not practical for the consumer to do business here. Either way, you are going to pay big bucks for luxury car labor. We all know this as we paid for the car to begin with. Go to the dealer and get it done right ONE time.Management, feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss. I have happily saved my work records.
