I brought my 06 F-150 truck here a cpl weeks ago because my reverse stopped working out of nowhere. As soon as i called i was greeted promptly and was advised on what my issues may be. They were extremely professional and did a free diagnostic on my vehicle to find out what the problem was. Turned out my reverse band was snappef which required a complete transmission rebuild. That was my worst fear but everyone there made this process as painless as possible. They were able to fix my truck in 4 days and have me back on the road good as new. Im extremely greatful for ghe work they did as Ive heard horror stories of other places rebuilding transmission improperly and creating more issues. Ive driven the truck now for almost 200 miles since the rebuild and feel great about it. Their 1 yr 12K warranty gives me piece of mind as well. If i ever need any transmission work done on any of my other vehicles i will not hesitate to bring it to shift works.

I went to shift works with a gut feeling that things didn’t feel right with my transmission in my Jeep ( work vehicle) they were honest and up front from the start on how long it would take for them to diagnose it. And then when I was determined I needed my transmission rebuilt they were honest with time constraints, cost, and were able to find the best plan for me to be up and running with as little down time as possible.. they were friendly, even when I was stressing out..I have since gone back, because I thought I had a transmission leak, they fit me in late in the afternoon, put it on a lift, figured out where the leak was coming from ( not transmission) and helped me by topping off the fluids so I could keep my Jeep on the road a day or two longer and not miss work!! They walked me under it and pointed out the issues they saw..they went above and beyond considering it turned out bot to be a transmission issues!! I am grateful for their time and care with their customers!! I would recommend them 100%!!

Had my wifes car told theyre from another shop who wanted to put a transmission under it. Shift works diagnosed the problem as some broke wiring. And a broken speed sensor. Great customer service and very knowledgeable about transmissions. They have earned a customer for life

I took my car in for a diagnosis, we thought was a transmission issue. Turned out not to be the transmission and a different issue with the car. They diagnosed the issue and I was able to take care of the repair myself. Always great to find a good honest shop. If I have any trouble in the future I wont hesitate to come back.

There is nothing better than an honest mechanic. Ive been around cars my entire life and its sad how many people will try to take advantage of you in this profession. This shop is great and a good place to go if you want to get an honest diagnosis of your car troubles.

I cold-called for a quote on a transmission. These guys were direct and honest. Their quoted price for a remove/reman/reinstall was actually cheaper than most online joints who are just selling a transmission. Theyre an ATRA certified shop, which makes a huge difference in the quality of work. And to be honest, if you look at their ratings here and elsewhere, they have extremely satisfied customers. That is something that is very difficult to do where automotive repair is involved, so theyre clearly doing customer service and repairs correctly.

These guys are rock stars! I was referred to them by my local mechanic and had also heard about them through another car enthusiast. I took my 95 Dodge RAM 2500 diesel in with a transmission leak. Jeff looked at it and found two breaks in the transmission cooler lines. The lines were discontinued by Dodge and new aftermarket/surplus lines were $600! Jeff cut out the bad parts of the lines and installed brass unions with compression fittings to seal up the old line. After an old school transmission service with new filter, Im back on the road the same day for a total cost around $300. Thanks guys! You can bet Ill be back with the rest of my cars for regular transmission maintenance and repair. I HIGHLY recommend these folks. They are honest, fair and you get what you pay for... great quality work.

After speaking with someone on the phone about a quote. Easily realized these arent the people to get prices from. They quoted me two different prices. And the guy didnt ask me if I was working with a shop. Then tells me they only give prices for bench jobs to shops. Without even asking me what shop I work for, how could you assume? SMH customer service IMO poor. Was trying to find new vendors to add but they clearly arent it.

I just wanted to post this,I had a customer breakdown in Atlanta Georgia. I contacted ATRA and they directed me to Shift Works to get my customer handled, and I must say they were very professional and very fair with the repair cost . I took my 1966 Ford with an AOD transmission into their shop. It had vibrations and would not shift correctly. They took it in and did an amazing job. The AOD is shifting better than ever and the vibration is gone. Thanks Shift Work Inc for a job well done. OUTSTANDING!

Recomended by a friend and did not dissappoint. They are very informative and on point with customer service. I had/have an issue come up after repair was made and they have been great to work with. I will recomend as well as use them again if needed.

We had three issues that needed to be addressed, one was a leaking transmission, seems that this one got solved fairly easily. The second one was transmission and differential service on a 4 wheel drive but the service was not done completely. A few months later I had to get that 4 wheel drive vehicle resealed as it was leaking fluid, no mention of a problem from Shift Works, which is why I took it there in the first place. Additionally the transfer case was full of water so the fluid was not changed, like I asked to be done.Last issue was my wifes car making a grinding noise, Shift Works said it was the front wheel bearings so we had them replaced. 10,000 miles later, which should be nothing for a bearing, we are needing to have them replaced again as they are making a very loud noise like they were before. Seems like something is amiss at this shop and we did not get what we paid for as far as Im concerned.

A few months ago, I had a problem with my transmission and was just barely able to get the vehicle to Shift Works. They offered a free inspection to see what was wrong with the car, but since it was close to the end of the day, they would need to check it the following day. The car was unsafe to drive off, so I planned on getting a rental from Enterprise.Upon calling Enterprise, I was informed that they werent scheduling anymore customer pick ups for the rest of the day. I had ZERO means of getting their aside from walking, but Enterprise would be closed by the time I walked there.Jeff noticed that I was in need of help and was nice enough to have his son give me a ride to Enterprise. This really meant a lot to me because I had never even met Jeff prior to bringing my car in. It had been a long time since I had experienced that level of humanity and compassion from anyone, let alone a company.Once we found the problem, him and his team had the issue fixed quickly and I have not had any problems with my car since. I definitely recommend bringing your transmission problems to Shift Works, and greatly appreciate their help in my time of need.
