My son was not told that the alignment machine was down. He left with new front tie rods and the alignment not done. He had to come back as it was severely out of is to verily out of alignment. They told him the alignment machine was broken at that point and told him he would have to drive over to the store on North Shore drive. He was at the Farragut store. We have a lifetime alignment At a different store where he could have easily good have easily gone and gotten an alignment. It was just convenient because he was already there at that store. We should get a refund on our alignment because the extra time he spent of an hour Or more getting this done plus the distance is not excusable.

Brittney at the front desk was amazing. I immediately felt at home with her warm smile and great personality.They were very understanding regarding my momma having had a stroke and let us stay in the vehicle until they were ready to take it into the bay.The guys in the bay took their time and was very thorough in the inspection and gave me a detailed list of work that needed to be done.If you want a great job done and treated like family, come here. I will definitely be back.

If you want poor quality of work and be over charged for the job your needing done. Then this is where to go. I will never take my car in to this place again. Took my wife’s van in to have the alternator replaced and have them look at the driver side sliding door because the door would not open and close properly. First they replaced the alternator without giving me the estimated cost before performing the work. This came out to a $1,200 charge. However they did call about my door and said the entire door would need to be replaced. After arguing with the mechanic, he said my other option is to weld the door shut. After I was able to control my laughter I told him he should stop working on cars and find another profession. I ended up fixing the door myself, which ended up being a very simple fix that costed me $60 for the parts I needed for the repair. I can not speak for the other locations but this particular location should not be in business. They should rename it to Last Choice Automotive, because this is the last place you want to take your car in for service.

Absolutely avoid this place. They will RIP YOU OFF!!! Air filter $90.53... and get this... Battery $283.69 and $44.90 IN LABOR!!! I almost died!!! So for a battery, oil change with air filter and a pedal stop sensor... $559.78!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM LIKE WE DID. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Best auto shop I have ever been to. Excellent mechanics, honest and upfront about their service and they always get the job done in a timely manner; and they are willing to work with your budget and they always go above and beyond for their customers. 10/10 I would recommend anyone take their vehicle to these guys

We were given a low dollar estimate on work to be done. It took a full day to get the actual price which was much higher than estimate. They would need the car over a week to do repairs. We opted for just the oil change which was a good price. They never called to say oil change was complete. We ended up taking car to the dealer to get work done.

They took my car in without a prior appointment. I didnt have a lot of free time in my day so that was most appreciated. They were fast, efficient, professional and kind. I really appreciate their courtesy. Thank you.

I took my car in (with a free engine scan coupon), because the service light was on. They called and said they needed an hour to investigate. When they followed up and called back I was told it was nothing and could pick up the car. When I arrived I was given a bill for $178 and was told it was to clear the immobilizer. This was the first I had heard about the charge and had never been given the opportunity to authorize the amount. After contacting the manager the fee was waived. I found the experience to be unprofessional and will not be returning to First Choice Automotive

Had issues getting our car to start. Had Oreilys do a scan which showed a bad alternator. First Choice got me in that day. They did their own diagnostic check first. Turns out it was the battery. Professional service completed within hours of my problem. They also saved me a bunch of money by doing their owe due diligence. I’ll definitely go back when the time comes. (Also offered a Lyft service)

I had an oil change, as far as I know everything was performed correctly. I am happy with the service & price & have used them before. This time they gave me a card for a complimentary oil change.

They told me that they can’t change my oil because the drain cap was completely rounded. That’s not very likely because that part is not removed and tightened back every day. But thinking that it’s only a few $ and what they say might be true, I said it’s ok. They attempted to charge me $72.77 for an oil drain cap that is only $13. Go there if you want to experience a good ripoff.

Paid over $700 for the car to not start after 4 weeks of it sitting on the lot. Supposedly all it needed was timing so I agreed to let them do the work. They then said when I picked it up that I needed a computer to get it started. I put one in the car and it still doesn’t run. Absolute waste of time. Tried contacting Nathan (regional manager) about it. No response. Over $700 down the drain. Not happy about that at all.

Complete rip off. They charged me triple the cost of any other car service business around. Not to mention my new brakes are squeaking way worse than before. I will never use them again. They saw me as a dumb blonde and took complete advantage. I asked around after paying $1926 for new brakes and every other car service place laughed at me for paying this much.

I love everyone at First Choice! I’ve brought my beloved ‘98 Nissan Sentra (“Dolly”) to them numerous times over the last year or so, and they always do a fabulous job. I know that I will always be well-taken care of, and that even includes free rides to/from home if I need to wait for a part to be delivered. I know that I can depend on First Choice to fix anything and everything and at a fair price. They are the absolute best. I won’t take Dolly anywhere else!

My second encounter in this place where reps were either hostile or just ignored you. First experience was over a year ago so thought I would give a second chance. First time no review called area manager instead. This time rep at counter said be right with me. He went out drove a car in to garage and started working on car and never came back in, I left.I used to use this business until a bad encounter with employee then took my business elsewhere. I get mailed coupons all the time so thought I would give a second chance after over a year. I know its hard to find people to work but the people that do work should be attentive to customers.

Very responsive and helpful employees (Thanks again Brandon!). Got my cars heating core bypassed and back on the road in under two hours after I brought it in. They were able to take me right away which was a huge relief. Highly recommend them for if you’re ever in a pinch.

Always love having Nate and his team work on my vehicles. It’s hard to find a trustworthy shop. They are very good about not recommending unnecessary repairs. Any time they have recommended a service I have found it verbatim in the manufacturers scheduled maintenance.

I went for an oil change: They advertised a $19.95 oil change. I waited in the waiting room and once the oil change was done the lady at the front desk told me that it was $70. I literally have a small car that used the most basic oil. The receipt said the oil change was $34.95 and with the fees it came out to be $70. How do you advertise one thing and charge you double with fees? I guess they noticed a mother with a toddler and didn’t think twice to rip me off. Never going again.

I took my car to have the oil changed and they told me I had an oil leak around my timing gasket and that they had to fix it before they could change my oil. The charge was going to be $1000.00. I told them I just wanted to do the oil change which they did. I picked it up and it was still saying it needed an oil change so I had to get them to fix that. Then as I was leaving the place the cover underneath the car fell down and was dragging on the concrete. I had to turn around and go back. They took to car around into the garage and it told the guy 20 mins to put it back on. Not once did anyone apologize and the mechanic acted like it was a burden to have to fix something that they did in the first place!

In past I have gone to get the oil changed on my truck with no real issues. Today, asked my wife to take it in for a simple oil change and after completing the work they tried to convince her she needed a fuel system cleaning, a coolant flush, and a tune up… all to the tune of $1400! Needless to say that the truck is @ 165,000 miles & we just completed all that “stuff” during the big 150,000 mile scheduled maintenance at the end of 2019. They’ve never tried this flagrant of an upscale with me and I & my wife feel they were trying to take advantage of her. Not to mention the VERY offensive & vulgar music they had blaring in the work area. Wife commented to the manager about the music and he said, “yeah, I tell them all the time not to play to that stuff.” Time for us to find another maintenance shop.

Farragut First Choice looked over my air conditioning which was not working in my 97 Honda CRV and diagnosed the problem after spending a while trying to recharge it. Since it was a big job I decided not to do the fix immediately and they did not charge me for the Freon charging service since it wasn’t the problem at hand. I appreciated them doing that although they had spent time and supplies on it.I returned to them for my next oil change since they had been fair with me and they gave me a very good price. My car is old and the oil plug was a bit messed up and leaked after the oil change. They apologized for not seeing that before hand and replaced my oil plug for me. First Choice is professional and more than fair and I will be returning for future fixes.

We are from lower Alabama and driving home our truck decided to blow her fuel pump. We got towed here and the guys got us right in. We had to basically camp out in the waiting room and they even let us borrow a car to get out kids lunch. We truly appreciate all the hard work and effort you put into getting us back on the road. Showed us great compassion and for that we are very grateful. Bless you all.

I do not live near this first choice auto anymore, but they have always done right so I go out of my way to visit them. Didnt get this same feeling recently and after last visit when rotors and brakes all had to be replaced. Paid extra 1.5 years earlier for ceramic brakes/rotors and still they all needed replacement again. Still have some weird squealing sound and TPMS light back on after driving just a few miles.Still better than most places, but less than I expected based on past services. Again, has been great and still more honest than most.

They quoted me 20 hours labor for a rear main seal. Looked it up myself and called another shop that goes by book time, they quoted transmission rebuild, not pull and replace, which is 12 hours book time. When I asked them about it, they stood firm and said thats what it is, 20 hours. They tried to gouge me for 8 hours labor. Paid my $117 diag fee and took the car. Will never ever go back.

I recently got new tires and wanted a wheel alignment and I went and noticed that my car started veering. So I went back and was told that I needed bolts that should’ve been on my car but weren’t. I found the bolts at a local dealer took the car back and they fixed it!! Super professional and willing to help get the job done right! Highly recommend!

I really do not want to write this review, but I do need to share my experience in hopes it helps others to avoid getting taken advantage of.Earlier this week, I took my car to First Choice Automotive in Farragut for an oil change. I receive coupons in the mail from them frequently so I decided to use my oil change coupon.Keep in mind, I’m 32 weeks pregnant and had my 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son with me. I was hoping an oil change would take around 30 minutes or less.About an hour goes by, and the man working at the front desk came into the waiting room to give me the news that my car needed several things and gave me an estimate of $2710.97 — I was shocked because my car seemed fine. I hadn’t heard or felt anything unusual about it. I was being told I needed new brake pads, rotors, suspension struts.I politely declined and explained we could not afford that right now, but I would take the estimate to my husband to talk with him. 10 minutes later, the same man came back into the waiting room and told me “I just talked to the regional manager and since it’s the end of the month, he’s going to come off the price a lot!”He gave me a new estimate which was discounted by $900 — I immediately thought...this seems super shady. How can you drop $900 like that and what does it being the end of the month have to do with anything? So I declined again, and said I just needed the oil change please.After I left, I was going to visit my parents who live out of town. I mentioned it to my dad and showed him the estimate. We decided to take my car to his mechanic to see if my car was needing all of these things and what they would charge us. He’s a trusted mechanic that my dad has worked with for years.Guess what? Nothing is wrong with my car. My break pads still have half their life left and I definitely do not need new rotors or struts. We were shocked that First Choice would completely lie about this and it makes me so disappointed that a business would do this.Please be cautious of this business and always get a second opinion.

I use First Choice because they are close to my home. Unfortunately it seems like everytime they perform work on any one of my vehicles, it needs an Upselll of More Work.And this time, for a simple oil change, they found the need to completely reset the seat, steering wheel and digital readouts. Its just frustrating.

After a hellacious trip from New England to Texas, I had truck troubles in Knoxville and first choice was the only place open as it was close to closing time. My nerves were shot, Brittany and Doug were amazing godsends. They were the nicest people I have encountered in a really long time. When they told me the issues I had to have a little melt down outside and they were so understanding and gracious and did everything they could to help me. Brittany worked her magic. She was even there later than she was supposed to be because they got a little busy at end of day, but the two of them work great with each other. Even the mechanic was nice and explained things with a happy positive demeanor (forgot his first name I think last is Anderson) the staff definitely deserves a raise or a party! Even when I was leaving Doug (cutest guy id seen in a while) walked my dog for me to my truck! Wish I could give 10 stars and I owe the staff so much for saving me on this trip home!

The family and I decided to go to Tennessee for the weekend so the kids could see some snow. On the way back my truck broke down on the side of the highway. After getting my truck to their shop they quickly diagnosed the problem. Only issue was getting the part since I have a older model truck. They were able to find the part, get it installed, and got us back on the road quick. Thank yall for the phenomenal job you did. My old truck has never ran so well. Keep up the great work.

Im really happy with First Choice. I brought a used car in for inspection that I was interested in buying. The staff were extremely kind and willing to help us out, and gave me all kinds of tips of what to look for. Long story short, they found so many issues after raising it up that they didnt even charge me a dime, even though they spent time talking to me about the car and having a mechanic look at it. These are honest people and I will definitely be using their services in the future.

As for his first day in that location as GM he didn’t hesitate to jump in. It’s great to see management lead by example and not from the desk! Truly grateful for the professional service I received. Service was fine. Lost a star due to their lack of COVID concerns. I didn’t see any employees wearing a mask and that includes the man who cashed me out. All the customers were wearing masks and it seemed disrespectful to me that they wouldn’t provide the same courtesy. I’ll consider coming back only because I live so close, but not until I am vaccinated.

My car broke down in the middle of the road and I called them and they sent a tow truck to get me and car. They were so kind and understanding. They told me that they would call the next morning and they found my problem. They fixed it and I was so grateful that they were there to help me. They also gave me a great price. These are so awesome and I recommend them to anyone who needs repairs.

Window broke on the coldest day of the year, went by to see if they could look, no problem. They are over the top with their high quality service, high quality technicians and mechanics and their courteous staff. They go out of their way to take care of their customers and their car needs. They are superior in every way.

I think they get their parts from advanced auto parts. The total for my parts were around $300 and told me it would only take an hour and a half to swap my brakes and calipers out. They told me it would be $1000. I’m still trying to fill in the gap, when I brake my truck vibrates..a lot. They did not use the correct torque spec for my vehicle and it warped the rotors, so they were immediately bent when they put them on. I will never go back there after trying to be charged 600 extra dollars for a “warranty on the parts. When I could just go myself to advanced get the parts, and come back with them. Poor quality, overpriced.

WOULD RATE ZERO IF I COULD. I had a simple oil leak coming from a hose not being properly put on. The part and labor for the fix totaled out to 51.58$ . That was at the second option I decided to take my vehicle to because this rip off of a place said I needed an entire new oil pan and labor would be 600 for 3 hours for a total of 892$. Highly recommend do not take your vehicles here they will try to rip you off and do something to your car that doesn’t need to be done. I had this problem fixed a little over a month ago, no more leaks! No thanks to this place! -Edit a few months later. I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOU AND “FIX” SOMETHING THAT DOESNT NOT NEED TO BE DONE. Newer drivers, older people, and females I would recommend a different service if they feel they can steal your money they will not hesitate!

Took my dually in to have tires and wheels put on that I brought to them. They gouged both rear wheels and proceeded to tell me that it is normal to scratch wheels when putting on new tires and it cant be helped. In 30+ years of dealing with cars Ive never had my wheels even remotely scratched when putting on tires. They also over charged me for Services that were not done. My son also worked at this shop a few months back for one day and watched them scam 2 customers out of alot of money. Only reason I even went there is because my son knows the new manager.

If I could leave no stars I would! I dropped my car off to get a free quote on what is wrong with my sunroof and they called me back telling me nothing was attached and it was off track and it would be 3,000 dollars to fix, when I got it home and looked more into it I realized they taken pieces off and made it worse, when I called to let them know that it was worse than when I brought it in they told me the district manager would give me a call in the morning and I have not received a call yet! I am very irritated.

It was 3pm on a Saturday and my trucks steering damper (I think that’s what it was) went out on us as we were about to start a road trip! I called First Choice Auto and was able to get in within 15 minutes and they not only found the problem but fixed it that day!! Great service and great people. Very happy customer and then I found out about that nationwide guarantee, I was even more ecstatic! Keep up the great work y’all

So wife decides 2 PM Saturday is a good time to tell me the family minivan has been making noises all week. Knowing places will close soon and be closed til Monday, I test drive it. Sounds HORRIBLE. Cant find a wear mark or interference. Figure a bearing is out - at least. Just moved here so rolled the dice and went to 1st Choice - it was the closest place I could find that was opened. Figured at very best theyd diagnose and Id have to bring it back Monday. Was hoping to get out of there for $500. Got a call an hour later. Vehicle fixed. They found a dust guard had been bent in against a rotor and just bent it back. No charge!!! AND to seal the deal, I found $40 in a backpack I took to ride down on my bike and pick it up. :-)In Chicago, where I came from, theyd have tried to sell me a whole new rear end. We moved to the area last summer and First Choice has become our garage of choice for major and minor auto work. They are always looking for ways to save us money, while still performing quality work. I used to be an engineer for Ford Motor Company, so I know cars, and know when to tell that Im being BSd. These guys know their stuff, and worked with our third party warranty company very well.

The BEST Service !! William explained what was wrong in detail. He even brought me back to work area and showed me what was wrong. The mechanic was FANTASTIC !! He did a beautiful job on the repairs. My girlfriend took a used car she wanted to buy to get a full inspection. The car looked nice, drove nice and was in her price range, BUT First Choice Auto found a problem with the water pump that the used car lot didnt tell her about. She didnt buy the car and it saved her money in the long run. Friendly staff, clean waiting room and tv to watch while waiting for a short period of time. I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle there.

Guy was honest that my transmission was shot. He couldve sold me a few things that wouldve band aided it for a minute but he said I cant do that my conscience wouldnt let me sleep at night. You dont see that very often anymore! Go see these guys they will do you right!

I have used First Choice several times. They are honest and do a great job. More than once we have come in with something small they fixed it on spot with no charge. When there is a more serious problem they are affordable and have done a great job. They will be the first place I go every time.

We recently purchased a used Jeep Wrangler with a couple of cross threaded wheel studs that ultimately broke while we were trying to service the Jeep. We limped on down to First Choice Automotive and they replaced the wheel studs for us. We were in and out really fast and they took great care of us. They even gave us some recommendations on how we could make the repair ourselves. Thanks for the great service Nathan!I would recommend giving them a try.

Sold my wife and oil filter cover we did not need. Took vehicle to Toyota dealership and said nothing was wrong with it. Then we confronted them they said it was true and we were going to get refund and never gave us a refund. We bought several oil changes at one time or we would have never taken it back after our first experience. The first time they changed our oil we had oil on our garage floor the next day. Plus checked our battery said it was good and ended up being bad on another visit. Their ether are crooks or never run a shop before?

Came in for an alignment check after getting new tires and wheels. They got me in quickly even though i didnt have an appointment, performed the alignment, and had me back on the road within an hour. Very friendly staff. Would recommend for sure.

I’ve used this place several times over the last few years. They’ve always been courteous and timely in the past. My latest experience was less than ideal. While they were courteous they charged me over 20% above the estimate they gave me in person when I didn’t even ask for it. It also took over three hours to get the job done which wouldn’t have been a big deal had they not told me a specific time already, then followed up with ‘40 more minutes’ only to have it take 3:15 hours. It’s about respecting people’s time if you say something, follow through what you say you’ll do. Let someone plan.

My experience here was friendly and fast. I came in with a headlight out and in a matter of five minutes my headlight bulb was changed and free of charge. On top of the super friendly staff that brightened my morning up! I will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!!

Good thing is everyone can make a choice, better thing is First Choice Automotive is easy one to choose. I took my car for AC recharge, was greeted with professionalism, respect and spared the clinical approach you get at dealerships. In one hour, I was able to enjoy the hot summer season in driving comfort of my AC blowing refreshing cold air. Since the pricing was reasonable, no holes burned in my pocket, so it felt even cooler. I went in because I had an oil leak and they identified the problem quickly (cracked oil pan I think). Unfortunately they identified several other things wrong with my car, including a bad axle in front, which they recommended I fix even before the oil leak issue. It was disappointing to be out so much money but I appreciated them identifying all of the problems.

Super professional, work was started immediately and finished before I thought it would be. Their competence and kindness made it easy to trust them with my car.I didn’t like that I wasn’t consulted on the tires, they just put on what they had or maybe they only carry one type, still would have been nice to know my options. I also didn’t like the dirty handprints left on the light grey upholstery. Thankfully it wasn’t grease and cleaned up ok.

Only disappointed that I needed to ask the desk employee to put on his mask- Im immunocompromised. Also took longer that estimated but not terribly.
