Its a Best Buy. Okay selection. Decent enough prices for a retail store. Id give 3-stars, but the staff is what bumped my review to 4. They tried to be helpful and seemed half-way well informed, so they made the difference on my review.

Shopping here was painful. The manager should retrain the staff. Telling me at the door to come back to the door if I need help is silly. Wanted to by a $600 TV and the signs were printed in 8 font and not very helpful to read features or if I had found one, ask if the item was in stock. I guess they think everyone shops online. Went to Electronics express where I was helped and prices were better.

The death of Brick & Mortar?The only things an actual brick and mortar store has going for it nowadays are two things. Great customer service from knowledgeable employees and not having to wait for shipping.Unfortunately Best Buy failed on both accounts. I visited the store on a Thursday afternoon and the store was deserted. I came in to get a protective case for my phone and asked the young lady greeting me at the door about this. She pointed me in the general direction of phone cases and told me it would be somewhere there. She grabbed an employee walking by (who was likely more familiar with the store layout?) to confirm if she was correct. He confirmed (but offered no help beyond that) and I made my way over to the Cell phone section. After searching around for a bit I found a case that looked like it would work. Just to be sure I asked the greeter if she could confirm that it would fit. She googled this on her computer and told me it would not work. I went back and grabbed another one that looked like it might work and went back again for confirmation from her (mind you, all this time there was no one to be seen in this department or the surroundings) again Google confirmed it was not the correct case for my phone. At this point I asked if there was anyone available to offer some assistance. She then proceeded putting an appointment in her computer for me to get help!! Mind you, the store is deserted yet they are still unable to help a walk-in? I dont get it.. After waiting for a couple of minutes, someone made his way out of the back and asked what I needed. I explained and he eventually found the phone cases and proceeded to grab the two cases I tried before he got there..He then made off to someone behind the desk for pick-ups (which seemed to have the only activity in the store) and confirmed that these did indeed not work for my phone, sorry about your luck.... I left the store empty handed and further convinced that moving forward all Best Buy needs is a pick up window like in a post office and get rid of this huge store. They have obviously given up the idea of running an actual store. Im sure Amazon will be thrilled and keep eating their lunch...

Very dissatisfied with my service which is unusual. I went in asking for assistance with putting on my custom switch shell. I did everything correctly, I set up a consultation, scheduled an appointment, and provided geek squad with all the necessary tools and pieces needed to complete the task. I was told during my consultation that this could be done and reassured when I dropped the device off. Only to get a phone call an hour advising that they would not install the shell. I am not as upset with the fact that Best Buy apparently doesn’t provide assistance with this task as I am that it was all a complete waste of my time. Very upset.Update: I reluctantly returned to this location again today because I was running the rest of my errands in Turkey creek. Once again, I visited geek squad for help with my Nintendo switch that I purchased there. I wanted help with my Nintendo switch SD card. The SD card seemed to be causing my switch to freeze whenever inserted. The lady was the same one that I encountered during my last visit. She knows nothing about the Nintendo switch but pretends she does so she doesn’t have to call someone that does. All she could do for me is repeat the same things back to me and stated that her professional advice was for me to just buy a new one (they’re expensive!). I would have liked to see some sort of effort before being told to buy another one. Disappointed that they continue to treat me, an elite member, like this. What can geek squad do? Because the past two times I’ve visited they’ve not been able to do a thing to help me with an item I purchased at their store. Should never have given them a second chance.

I went in to ask what their recommendations were for building a super fast hi end computer. With a minimum of 4 screens and top of the line technology. After standing in the pc section waiting for over 10 minutes for someone to show back up I went to customer service. I was then told I had to talk to the guy at the door in order to get any assistance. I just left and figured I would spend my money elsewhere. Ridiculous what customer service has come to.

I did my research online before heading to the store. Salesman was helpful and efficient. Showed me a couple of options in what I had specified, didnt push to upset, and was able to get me exactly what I wanted. In and out in 30 minutes. I call that excellent.

Every tech guy loves a Bestbuy. They usually have a taste of everything you could possibly want. In comparison to the one off of N Peters road, the selection here was much more limited. We did find what we came for but our browsing was disappointing due to the lack of stock. All in all a good visit though.

Couldnt get in even though I have a medical issue recognized by ADA that prevents use of mask or shield (which I explained to point of contact inside Best Buys entry door) Also couldnt get a human to pick up the phone, hung up after multiple tries over a half hour period. Will contact ADA tomorrow to get a case started. Its my understanding a $75,000 fine will be levied by the Justice Department for businesses who dont comply

Went into the Knoxville Best Buy so my friends Ken and Ruth can buy a new TV set and a gentleman named of, I believe it to be long-haired Chad because theres a number of Chads in there and everybody will know that person. He was in excellent customer sales person, very informative, knew was he was talking about he helped my friends out a great deal. If you ever go in there look for Chad the long-haired one, Highly Recommended.

Its funny I must have the look of no money A 56 year old man that probably has more money then 5 of these employess and I couldnt get a hello or a can Help you once people behind me were asked people in the store. I have bought countless computers and acc from best buy but can never can be asked or respected. I wont be back again this is 2 best buys that train there employees to stand around on there cell phones but not greet or respect every customer equal.

We made the mistake of visiting this Best Buy vs the one located on Town and Country Cir.There was only one other customer in this store yet we still couldn’t find an employee to help us. We waited close to 30 minutes before I saw an employee on the floor. I had to approach him and ask for help.My husband and I was in the market for a camera.Needless to say the camera I wanted was not available and apparently couldn’t be ordered . EVEN THOUGH IT’S DISPLAYED IN THE STORE. Ok fine, please show me something comparable. Nothing was available for purchase but a few we liked could be ordered. We thought we made it clear we wanted one that would sync with our iPhones. Apparently we didn’t. Once it arrived we realized it was only compatible with an Android phone so we had to return it.We returned it to the store located on Town and Country Cir. The store was extremely busy yet had MUCH better customer service at this store. We were helped immediately by KNOWLEDGEABLE employees.No comparison between these two Best Buy stores.

I understand that Covid is real and safety is of concern when going out to places however the safety precautions set up her are tremendous. Last time I visited I had to wait outside for 10 to 15 minutes in freezing temperatures after it had rained. Only 15 people are allowed in the store at a time which is kind of ridiculous because the store is huge. I would recommend just do curbside pickup if you are going there for something simple like a charger or something. Other than that very friendly staff and quick checkout time.

Literally the worst experience. I was in the store for almost an hour with no help. Employees would walk by and avoid eye contact. I needed to purchase a lens for a camera and just needed someone to unlock the counter. The guy that finally came to help apologized but still didn’t have keys and had to go back to the front.

Tried to do some Christmas shopping here and the guy at the door was aggressively asking everybody that came in on what theyre looking for. The first thing my wife could think of was car audio equipment and he said they didnt have that. Just check peoples temperatures and make sure they have a mask, you dont need a bouncer at the door worrying about what people are looking for before they even get inside. Good way too loose business.

The expertise, customer service, and professionalism of two Best Buy employees at the mobile desk saved the day for me yesterday! Carmelo and Cody were so very helpful to me as I purchased a new phone and being a senior with technically challenged skills. Carmelo spent so much time with me being patient setting up my phone and Cody came over to help fine-tune the instructions at the end of a very long and productive lesson. These gentlemen are to be commended and their manager Kari Stout is to be commended for having such wonderful employees. after an extremely disappointing experience at the geek squad desk these gentlemen saved my business and saved the business of everyone I know that I can tell to go and see the mobile help desk.

I tried to go in to get a cable for my phone, but I was made to wait in a line for what appeared to be an employee to help me. There was a confused old woman who seemed like shed been there a while ahead of me, and there was no indication in the two minutes I stood there that she was going anywhere. I know what Im looking for. I could be in and out in under 10 minutes, but instead the guy at the door stopped me. I hate Best Buy as is, so Im kinda happy the employee stopped me from making the mistake of spending my money here. So thanks, I guess?

I ordered a headset to go with my phone, it told me the item would be ready in about 3 hours. I go to pick it up and they proceed to tell me it would be the next day. I chose another set and they refunded my card very quickly, no hassle or anything.

I took my computer in for a problem. Now, I wasnt overwhelmed before I got there because I had tried to call the day before to find out what was involved and never reached a person. When I walked in I was told I would need an appointment. But the people working at Customer Service and Geek Squad were extremely helpful. I live on the other side of Knoxville so they fit me in so I wouldnt have to come back that evening. They explained the options and found me the best price option to get the computer fixed. So, not sure Im thrilled with Best Buy, but these folks were very helpful and went out of their way to do their best for me.

Love the neat and orderly store layout. Employees offered assistance immediately and were courteous. Prices seemed a bit high but didnt comparison shop for items I purchased: Ethernet Cable 50 ft. $40 and Wireless Mouse $17 So, cant definitely say if prices were a bit high or not. It’s hard to understand the 15 person limit when the Best Buy 3 miles away allows 100’s of people in at the same time. Add to that, when you actually get in this store and wait 20 minutes for help they don’t have inventory and recommend ordering. People walking out saying they never got help and the guy at the front says “ok your name is off the list” isn’t a good look. Can’t imagine this company makes it in the long run.

Definitely the smaller of the two area BestBuys. Will still provide great service and fair pricing/price matching, but the availability of products here versus the other store in the the area is the reason for my lesser vote. It is just nice to actually see/try/test products before you buy and the other location offers much larger and much more diverse products/selections.

I only came in here for what I needed and was glad to get out. I just wanna know why I didnt see FEMA parked outside or biohazard bins or hazmat placards all over. I felt uncomfortable in this store. Maybe I could have bought what I was looking for online and saved a trip. They go through all these efforts to keep people safe and yet everyone is touching things and germs are still there and yet they would rather just see a muzzle on people. I used to like walking into Best Buy. There is a good chance that when my card is paid off and it will be soon that as long as their covid-19 protocols are in place Ill gladly spend my money elsewhere going forward.

Bought a Samsung TV in December 2020. It has stopped streaming properly. I understand electronics mess up and that’s not my issue. I’ve called this location endlessly to ask about how to return my tv and have yet to get anyone to answer. I get put on hold by an automated system for a minimum of 30 minutes each time till I finally hang up. I’ve tried to visit the store but they only let 15, yes 15, people in their huge store at a time. 🙄I don’t have time to stand in line for hours to accomplish this return. Just poor poor customer service. Suggestion: if returns are important to you don’t buy from Best Buy.

I understand that we have to wait in line because the store is at capacity but why do I need to tell the “bouncer” why I am there? We went to look at soundbars and some were not working. The sales guy said he just couldn’t get some to work...not a good sales pitch. We went to ask someone about a phone charger and he rudely waved us in the general direction. Went to pay for the charger and the checkout has a sign to go to the online pickup area where there was a line and only one person working the line. Noticed that someone was getting checked out in the normal checkout area so I went and waited my turn and was told he wasn’t supposed to be using these registers and I would have to go to the online area. I said there is a line and only one person working...another employee came up and started helping me and the now line behind me. This is nuts, it’s nearly Christmas and only one person working both the online pickup and checkout??? And...for the record, I do not want to beg to get into a store to spend my money. I will wait in line but I don’t need to tell you why I am there to get in!

Scheduled a battery replacement for an iphone and verified the date, time , and the representitive stated the battery would be waiting. A week and a half later ...arrived for the appointment; (after driving an hour) spent an hour signing some papers, running diagnostics on the phone, and checking other details...yep, needs a battery but we dont have one. How do you schedule an appointment with a customer for a battery replacement and not have a battery while also wasting three hours of their time, gas, and trust? Wouldnt that be like a surgeon scheduling a hip replacement without the parts?
