Great experience! We worked with Todd and he was very patient with us an never felt pushy. The process was quick and very easy. The installation team were on time and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job.

Hidden gem and easy to work with. Much better than the big brand name shops and good pricing. Not to mention they were super quick to get us carpet installed.

I wanted to give these guys five stars! I recommended them to several people before I even had the carpet installed because we had THAT good of an experience shopping there and picking out carpet. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly; very professional. The problem came when the carpet I picked out wasn’t the carpet that was installed. HOWEVER—I had no recourse because I didn’t obtain a sample of the carpet I picked out, I didn’t take a photo of the carpet or even a photo of the tag! That’s how much faith I put into this business—I didn’t cover my investment whatsoever. I had full faith that I would receive the product I purchased. Pleasant was very friendly throughout the ordeal. They stated they didn’t know which carpet I picked and assured me repeatedly that the one I had installed was the one I ordered (it wasn’t) but like I said, I have no recourse. I only write this review to encourage others to cover their bases, don’t make the mistake I did. I’m not saying the company is sketchy—it could have been an honest mishap somehow, and other than the mishap, the experience working with them was top notch. Like I said, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Great communication while scheduling the measurements and installation. The installation was timely and professional. Overall, I liked the company. I wanted to love them and be a repeat customer—referring friends and family there too but unfortunately I will not be back. I’m disappointed I didn’t receive the carpet I picked out and that will keep me from returning. I would recommend to anyone reading this though—definitely check them out. Just make certain you have clear evidence of what you’ve picked out and paid for.

Very pleased with the inventory! I had a LOT of option to choose from. Plus I learn a lot about carpet. The employees were kind and knowledgeable to my needs. The pricing was wonderful!!! I was very pleased with all the items I bought. I’m going back to pick up more carpet because they gave me ideas I didn’t even consider about my house. They have my business for life ☺️. We had an excellent experience with Pleasant Flooring. We called late Friday afternoon after our property had flooded in the lower unit, looking for someone to come out as soon as possible to install new carpet. Neil took our call immediately and was able to give us a quote over the phone to install the next morning. Buddy, the installer, came out the next day (a snowy Saturday morning) and was highly efficient and professional. We would highly recommend their work and will definitely use them again in the future.

Highly recommended, had a great experience from start to finish. We were quite picky up front trying to find the carpet we wanted, but at the warehouse they were patient while we explored a number of samples and debated all options. They were very punctual and professional when they came out to measure and flexible when setting our install date. The install went very well and once completed looks fantastic. Couldnt be happier with everything!

I have dealt with a Pleasant Flooring twice, once for a carpet install and once for luxury vinyl plank flooring that we installed ourselves. Each time the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. They make the experience simple and hassle-free. On top of that, the prices are much better than I was able to find anywhere else with excellent quality.

Everyone here was super friendly and helpful! My wife and I picked out carpet for our whole house within 20 minutes, it was installed flawlessly. They are very affordable, and have a huge selection to choose from. We will be back for our vinyl project in the next couple months. We have 2 children, the owner gave each of them a free kids tablet also.

I couldnt believe how much they had in stock to choose from, let alone all of the samples that could be special ordered. Luckily for us, they had what we wanted in stock and we were able to get our carpet installed as soon as the next day although we scheduled it for a few days out.Installation was very professional. I would recommend Pleasant Flooring to anyone looking for carpet and they had a lot of different flooring to choose from as well. Very resonably priced and friendly staff made us confident in our choice to go with Neil and his team.

Good inventory and prices, expert installation. We had them recarpet our RV which was labor intensive. Great job! Also they bind remnants for inexpensive room-sized rugs.

Made first contact at the Novi Home Show, looking to see if we could rejuvenate our existing 7 yr old carpet buy getting it stretched and professionally cleaned. The contact we made there was very nice and professional. That same person came out a week later prepared to stretch the carpet out, but gave us their opinion that stretching and cleaning would not get the high traffic areas back to the condition we wanted. So they measured for carpet instead, unfortunately they did not have any samples with them.We live in Sterling Heights, but we decided to drive out to Novi that day to view samples. Everything was going well until the owner Niel got involved. He jumped in over his guy and quoted us a price with a home show discount, and when I asked how long the price was good for he snapped back rather snarky with...today only! Mean while, he is bragging to his sales guy about how busy he has been all day, and that he has written 50k in sales up that day...right in front of us! We told him we would not be buying carpet off of a sample in a warehouse, we need to see it in our house to pick it out. He would not let us take any sample to view in home, and he wanted us to put a deposit down regardless...I refused, so he said he would have his sales guy bring samples to our house, that was the only way we could see samples in our house.Prior to coming out, Niel called to ask what samples we wanted to see. I told him I did not write them down, it was whatever we viewed and he quoted us in his warehouse...which seemed to irritate him. He told me he would have to have his guy pull that info, and then they would be out as planned...and if we picked out a carpet while he was there we could give his guy a deposit on site.Between that call and the scheduled visit, we decided to check out other places as well. Had one company out, got a quote, then Pleasant came out. We picked a color, then informed them we had another company coming out in a couple days, and then we would make a decision. Not 2 minutes after the sales guy left Niel calls me and is jumping down my throat that we were supposed to buy carpet from him, and we did not inform him we were shopping around. He made a strong point to tell me he has to pay his guy for coming out even if we dont buy anything (as if we were scamming him out of money), and how dare we contact another company when HE TOLD US he would have the lowest price.I had enough, told him I was not buying carpet from him and hung up. He then texted me a heated text message stating I promised to give him 50% down when they came out with samples, and how these other companies are not as good...etc., etc. Highly unprofressional, and I am shocked this person runs a business.Follow up - I did receive follow up from the manager (Craig) after posting this review, and he did sincerely apologise for the situation, as well as offer extra incentives to make up for the negative experience (which I declined). If you do choose to explore doing business with Pleasant Flooring, perhaps you can avoid a negative experience by dealing with Craig instead of Niel.

I recommend this place to everyone!
