I met with consultant, Cooper Green and advised him of my budget for a new pool table for our game room. Cooper assisted me in finding the perfect table for my family. When it was delivered, Patrick, Reed and Maicen were very friendly, professional and courteous. They walked us through everything we needed to know as far as maintenance, cleaning and servicing. You can’t go wrong using these guys!

Universal Billiards recovered my table with a lighter unusual color and there were some faint but noticeable spots on the felt. Daniel came by and looked at it and agreed it was not up to their standard. Dillon and Patrick brought new felt out and recovered it at no cost. If you are in the market for a pool table I can not recommend these guys enough. They are very knowledgeable of their products and not pushy AT ALL. I used Universal to pick up a table I found on Craigslist, store it for a month, re-felt and re-cushion, and then deliver to my newly-constructed home. From the quotation to the final cleanup, everything was top-notch. Prior to committing to buy the table, I visited their Plano/Frisco store and received a lot of good information on what to look for when inspecting a used table. I then had Universal quote the job(s) and they took it from there. Communication was very good. They did surprise me the day of delivery with a felt change as they did not have the felt I requested in stock. This worked out OK as Im happy with the substitute. The delivery was well-executed - Patrick and his assistant (Cody?) were very professional and conscientious at all times.

Bought a used table they said was in great shape. They installed it and after a few years I moved and started taking the table apart to find that one of the side pieces was gorilla glued and L bracketed together. You just couldnt see it while the table was together. Very shady company. Then they ignored my complaints. Go somewhere else for quality

I wanted to take a second to spread the word about Universal Billiards. Ill start by saying that I am not affiliated with the company or anyone there in any way. I preface with this because I often wonder if the reviews Im reading are from unbiased third parties. I am purely a customer, and a customer with high expectations when making an expensive luxury item purchase like this.My wife and I shopped for months before deciding on the Legacy brand table at Universal. We went with an 8ft port finish with the tournament olive felt. The wood on wood construction was really the tipping point for us. Although the name is not as recognizable as some, this is a well built table and it looks and plays great! I really wanted to go all out and buy the Scottsdale, but have been pleasantly surprised by the value for my money that the Legacy gave us.We hit a minor bump in the road with the felt. There was a flaw on the fabric and the corners were frayed a little bit. I called and addressed my issues with Daniel (GM) at the Dallas location and he went out of his way to offer resolution and address the problem as quickly as possible. They offered to replace the felt for me at no charge. What was an even more pleasant surprise, and what I didnt find out until it they were gone, is that the owner came out personally and did the work! I have worked in retail management in the past and owned a small business for some time, so I truly appreciate this kind of service. He was a great guy and as friendly as they come!I like to support small businesses whenever possible and this kind of service drives home why. I purchased a Universal Billiards table from someone else and hired Universal to handle they move. They did an outstanding job, took their time putting it back together and leveling it out and I highly recommend their serves.

My experience with Universal could not have been any better. Their technicians were incredible. I hired them to repair, move and recover a pool table. I had them put new bumpers and a new felt on the table, and they handled some damage on the table as well. The end result was amazing- a pretty old table with damage now looks brand new, and plays amazingly! The guys who set it up went way out of their way to ensure i was perfectly happy with every aspect of installation, and i have never encountered a company so concerned with making sure i was happy with their work. I honestly feel they should have charged significantly more give the amazing effort they put in. After setting up my pool table, one of their guys noticed a table i bought from them for the room, (still in the box) and insisted on installing that as well- he did so without charge, which was very kind, given i have a slight disability in my legs (in doing so, he saved me quite a bit of pain). I had a chance to speak with the owner for a bit, and learned some of the story about the company. Their commitment to veterans and active service members is inspirational. Its rare to find businesses with such a commitment to philanthropic work. I found the company while looking for someone who dealt with Legacy tables, and couldnt be happier that they are who i found. Their show room is incredible, and i highly reccomend stoping by. I dealt with Daniel, who repeatedly went out of his way for me, and made sure i was able to find the best products for my table (cues, and Aramith balls) and who went out of his way to make sure i got the parts necessary to repair the table. Its evident that Universals primary concern is taking care of people. You wont find a more impressive company.
