Wow, this place has the most records Ive ever seen in the Midwest. I was in Fargo a week ago for work, and I scored some really rare metal and HipHop albums. Im from the twin cities area, I cant think of a single store that Ive been to that has a better selection. I just wish I wasnt 3.5 hours away. I guess I have a reason to come back to Fargo more often. The dog (Gertie) I think, was super sweet too. What a gem, a real treasure!

Dont buy vinyl here. My daughter recently purchased a brand new album she really wanted. After she got home and opened it she saw it was smashed. She took it back to exchange for the same item. No refunds and no returns policy is a rip off. Shes a kid and out her hard earned money. Ridiculous policy.

Just on a stopover and thought I’d check out a local Record Shop. Really great records and prices that were very fair for some rare records. Ended up finding some good stuff and then talking to the owner for over an hour. My only complaint is that the store is 1500 miles from where I live and I wish it was my local shop.

Nice place to get vinyls. It is in the same store as Game Giant. So once you pick an album to listen to, you can pick out a board game to play while listening.Although I did not find what I was looking for they do have a large selection of used records.

The best part of my visit to Fargo without a doubt. Hung out for hours with the owner Aaron while our dogs played. Great curation, great atmosphere, great politics, great guy, great store. Every city should be so lucky💜🙏

One rarely encounters such a clueless, rude, unprofessional individual in a small retail outlet. The guy behind the counter is a complete toolbag. I highly suggest avoiding this place at all costs. I will never set foot in the place again.

Should be named ripoff giant.bought a new amp there and it wasnt what I wanted.they refused to refund money.i bought amp for 500 and wasnt what I wanted he told me I have a 90 day return policy.then denied that he said that. I have a witness to what he said.i drove all the way from Jamestown .just dont know how a business can do this.didnt offer no compromise in store credit.just you bought it you keep it .so I wouldnt buy no high dollar items . because you wont get your money back if something is wrong.at a time when money is tight .and on top of dealing with covid-19 stuff.iam also dealing with the unexpected death of my sister .and now I am out 500 dollars .not a merry Christmas

Great selection of games and odds and ends that go with them! They also have tons of awesome greeting/birthday cards and gifts. I love going in here from time to time just to see whats new. If youre cruising through the downtown area this is a great place to stop. You never know what awesome items you might find!

Fun place for record and audio enthusiasts. The proprietor was very knowledgeable on both subjects and turned me on to some new music I was unfamiliar with. I also received a fair offer on a box of good condition records so well worth the trip.

Two loves in one!! Great selection of board games, cards, and vintage toys on one side, awesome vinyls for days on the other! You have to checkout on each respective side. Pro tip for the first timer. You can find old, new, used, and bargain vinyls. If you need help, just ask, the people are great! Shop and jam out to some good vinyls while you shop. Prices vary.

Vinyl giant was a place thats way too cool for me. I hope to get cooler so I can be in there longer to check out the awesome selection of board games. I dont think ive been in the presence of so many boards. It was really intimidating. Next time Ill ask for help. But my friend asked for help one time and said they do a great job at finding it. Hopeful my cool points will go up so I can ask next time. If someone gave me a quest to go in there I would absolutely say yeah. Like this place has a good vibe and the people are incredible. We visited on a day trip while in ND on vacation. My husband found some great hip hop and rap albums that are harder to find in our home community. I was underwhelmed with the punk selection. The games area had an impressive selection, and the sales associate was super helpful and knowledgeable. My family found just the RPG stuff they needed, plus several hilarious novelty gifts. Looking through the products was entertaining in and of itself, a real bonus for the whole family.

Best Vinyl store in North Dakota. They had a lot of selections and I was able to find what I was looking for! They were extremely helpful and answered all the questions I had. The store is clean and organized well! I would recommend.

I’ll begin by saying, I NEVER write reviews! These one star ratings definitely prove you can’t please everyone. This place is AWESOME! I could spend hours lost in the large variety of records displayed, both new and used. The owner, (If I remember correctly he introduced himself as Eric) was very knowledgeable and made us feel very welcomed! This spot is definitely a new hangout for me! My first time there I left with 9 records, two of which were played while in the store. Eric even exposed me to the world of Mr. Jimmy Smith, one of my favorite records right now! Ahhhhh I could go on forever about how AMAZING this place is but truth is most people probably wouldn’t read more than a couple of sentences. :) Even other customers that came in were friendly and knew the owner by name which speaks volumes as to the atmosphere! Great place, great people, great prices!

Recently decided to give Vinyl Giant another chance after seeing some recent arrivals posted on social media. I arrived and they did not even have them priced out yet. Deceptive business tactic at best. Not ever going back.

This is THE place for games of all sorts as well as a place to pick up classic vinyl and possibly hard to find albums missing from your collection. It also has some novelty gifts... such as small hand soap for those of us with small hands or minds... haha... but the game selection is among the best that Ive seen no doubt.

Rude owner and way over priced selection. I was only in there once and ran out when I saw the prices, not very good selection either. My buddy who is around 70 years old recently got yelled at by this guy for not handling records right. The guy has been collecting longer than the owner has been alive and he has best collection of Psych records in the area!! I remember when there was a real record store in the corner called Vinyl connection. Phat Kat was way better too. Ah, the good old days! Luckily, I only have to drive a few hours to find real record stores and dont have to waste my money at this place or Orange records!

Way better trade in and cash prices for records. Other shops in town wont even look at some records because they aren’t personally known by the buyer and this miss out on some great trades or buys. Great selection of used and new and decent prices. This is my go to record store. Doesn’t get better than this in the area.

Outstanding little shop! Coming up from Minneapolis for the weekend, this is the only place in town that didnt leave me disappointed or feeling unwelcome.Vinyl Giant has the relaxed environment and sincere customer service that I wish other giants like Electric Fetus had.I ran into a number of records nobody else in the area cares to stock, and snagged a good deal on an album I didnt think Id ever even see in person.Im driving up again just to pick up a few oddities that I was happy to put on order. As for cameras recording with audio, thanks for the info. That is illegal in North Dakota. A felony.You are also as condescending online as you are in person. Sad.
