Lots of very interesting merchandise. I was disappointed that a lot of it was not ironed but crumpled from being taken out of boxes. I only remember seeing two employees and thats from two floors at Penneys. We finally had to go behind curtains to find a dressing room. It looked like it had been vacated. Really a strange experience. Not like the panties of old.

Always love the original department stores, if people werent so lazy anymore these would be around forever. Stay strong, youll survive, pennys.

I went in the store Sunday June 6th 2021. I browsed around and there were several good sales items that caught my eye. However, when I went to check out I found very very limited options. The one upstairs was closed -the one downstairs had such a long line that I put my stuff back and left. I will shop online from now on, at least I don’t have to deal long lines

I had several returns from online purchases i made before and after Christmas and i didnt have receipts because u dont get actual receipts when u order online. The young lady that assisted with my returns was very knowledgeable in her job and it took no time at all. Very impressed

The clothing and jewelry departments are great when there are clearance sales but the salon within JCPENNEYS is amazing!! Think I found my new hair place. It would be worth the hour and a half trip plus have childhood friends that live in Fargo so its a win win!!! No complaints!

I had the best experience today at the Fargo JCPenney!!A week ago I stopped in to try some jeans for my very particular 7 year old son. I ended up grabbing 2 pair of jeans and was extremely excited to find a 4 piece suit combo for him as well.My checkout went smoothly and while the amount I was spending was more than I had anticipated, I reasoned that if the jeans were what he liked - I was willing to pay the extra.After trying the jeans on, we realized the cut was wrong and they just didnt work. While locating my receipt I realized I was charged for 3 pair of jeans instead of 2. Disappointed in my own lack of attention, I headed back to the store to return the 2 pair that didnt work.The cashier that assisted me today was training and the manager was telling her about the reasons why they should always scan each item instead of using 1 barcode to represent each of a similar item. I spoke up to defend the original cashier - she hadnt scanned 1 tag for 2 pairs of jeans. The manager gave me a questioning look and I explained that she actually accidentally charged me for 3 pair when I only had 2. But I didnt expect a return for that on the receipt because there was no way to prove that I never received the 3rd pair - it was totally my fault for not questioning my total the first day.He responded saying that he was not going to allow me to be charged for 3 pair when I didnt get 3 and especially since I was returning the 2 I did have since they were not what I wanted.Both the cashier and manager were polite and efficient. I truly appreciate the service I was given today at JCPenney - West Acres!!

Terrible! I purchased a small item online and decided to pick up at main store sixty minutes away, by car. I thought JCPENNEY would have a quick pick up place, like area grocery stores, or other retailers. Curb side. No way! I walked around a huge mall, went up to the third floor, where pick ups were in the same line as returns. Long lines. See pic. When I said something to store manager, about the long wait, she stated it was a busy time of year.

My mom and I went to Sephora for our free bday gift. Great time spent together.

Penney s in Rochester, MN was awesome. Gal in Fargo was not really interested in showing me anything. Pretty disappointed although had to have the blinds so ordered from her. Wish I would of had the exact measurements when I was in Rochester as I would have ordered them there instead.

There was only one place to check out and I had to spend time looking for it. Stores was messy.

Many associates seemed to be standing around talking, and were not of much assistance. The racks were not organized well. Difficult to find the right thing or know what the sale is on something if so many things are in the wrong location.When I left, the security sensor went off so we turned back in case something didnt get scanned properly but nobody working even seemed to look up. I double checked the items we purchased to find out that one item still had an ink tag on it. We live an hour and a half away and wouldve been in quite the bind had we gotten home and still had this on there.Overall an ok selection in store but not much assistance in the store and not the greatest attitudes from the people we did deal with.

Selection is sparce for some things...hard to find help at times...escalator and/or elevator is out of order all the time yet I see staff using it?? The store needs something to pep it up.

Just seems dirty and really needs an update. Elevator was sketchy. But I had a stroller. Walked the upstairs flier 3 times and finial found 1 sales person. Hiding in a corner. Dont get me started on the bathrooms! Please! All but on faucet was broke. And that one that did work, you had to hold your finger on top for it to work. Toilet area, ewwww gross! Changing table to close to the door and doesnt seem safe.

Escalator broken, one elevator in entire store only two people per trip, took forever! Need to fix and lots of hair clumps on floor throughout store disgusting and dirty! Elevator buttons had mysterious brown goo on them.

Does anyone even work there? I went in for some custom window treatments and the seller was very rude until she found out I had no budget for my windows and Ive worked in the window department and know its commission based so her treating me like I couldnt afford to be there is NOT how they are trained to act. All customers are important, regardless of budget and after the seller sold the wrong window treatments to me the manager was very unprofessional in our return.

I dont like the store layout. Hard to find help. Macys is nicer. But I did love the sales, the gift options. They had packages there with options I couldnt find elsewhere. They had sample perfumes/colognes in boxes, shaving kit bags that allowed the gift receiver to sample different options then bring in a voucher to receive the one they liked best. Whoever came up with that option is brilliant! If you dont know which cologne is their favorite, you dont have to, they get to choose along with try a huge amount of others for the price of one bottle!

So tired of walking looking for a checkout thats OPEN!!! find one open and its standing in line for 10 minutes. Go back to the old checkouts.....

Seriously impossible to buy clothes without trying them on, hire someone to clean the dressing rooms or just quit selling clothes cause its a total waste of time to buy clothes to take them home and than return them. Might as well just shop on Amazon than.

I luv going to Pennys and hope that our Fargo store can keep hanging in there. With so many people doing on line shopping they are destroying it for the ones that enjoy the shopping experience strolling through the store seeing & touching what you want to purchase. Please hang in there Pennys 🙂👍

Sondra went over and beyond to help me find my order this morning when they first opened that was cancelled since out of stock (last minute) . The store said had two but were no where to be seen. After about an hour going back and forth and checking every single similar item she went in the back and found my order that was cancelled last minute. Overall very patient and professional. It was a headache waiting and trying to figure out the computer glitch but it was also worth it because I needed this item and expected it when time for pick up. Overall a great experience and sales and employees. Im very satisfied

By FAR the biggest store in the mall.Definitely a smidge too focused on selling to women specifically.Absolutely has some of the best deals around if you get in at the right times AND have a Penneys card.Sales are often too plentiful. There is usually something going on, but you really can never tell which sale is the best since they are so often.

Service was friendly. Levi’s are very spendy.

They might be closing alot of these but I can always find something. Purchased over 10 items last weekend.

This store was messy and the staff were not very helpful. The staff were more interested in trying to act cool and chat with girls. When walking around the store, the floors were dirty and there were even dust piles everywhere. Stock seemed to be an issue for the specific items we were looking for and we had to travel to grand forks to find what we wanted. Definitely not a good visit vs the first time we were there

One of my favorite place in town, great place to shop at. There are always great deals and my favorite feature is that there is a wide range of sizes and and the clothes are actually cute ! And dont get me started on clearance and the coupons ! Very Friendly atmosphere , High traffic at times but hey who does not like a good deal. I love Pennys :)

There was only one pair of jeans in the whole place that was my size. Not their fault, Im just an oddly built lumberjack looking guy who needs to lose 60 pounds so I can give them all my money. Other than my struggle for jeans... And a lasting relationship... this store is great. Large selection of anything clothing relate. I have even ended up browsing polo shirts, which I hate. Thats how great this store is. The same concept goes for women in my life. Except JCPenny is way cheaper and of better quality.

My go to place for a great selection of quality mens wear. Always friendly helpful staff, clean and well organized.

Came into the store to look for a shirt. Found what I wanted on a table that was clearly marked Buy one get one free . Took the two shirts to the register and was told that I could NOT have THAT shirt in the deal because it was already marked as clearance. Called a manager and was told Sorry thats the way it is. I dont think I will ever come back to this store.

I was really pleased with the side and selection of this store. It was clean and well organized. However, when checking out, the staff was a little unfriendly despite an issue with their computers requiring me to write a check instead of pay with my bank card. It was no problem, but the staff could have been more polite.

I’ve been to this JCPenneys locations several times over the past month and each time left disappointed for one reason or another.The store is incredibly messy all of the time. I don’t ever expect that everything be 100% neat and tidy, I understand that people are CONSTANTLY looking through things, trying things on, unfolding things. But I shouldn’t go to a corner of the store and find heaps and heaps of clothing on top of tables, heaps of clothing nearly as tall as I am. I was unable to look through some things due to just how massive the pile on the table was.I saw employees on the sales floor standing around, having a personal conversation, instead of actually working.Sales are signed in a way that makes it difficult to figure out exactly what is on sale, for how much, etc. There was a table of jeans marked with three different sale prices, and not knowing which jeans were on which sale turned me away from purchasing jeans there.Size selection for jeans especially is limited both in store and online. Many brands only carried down to a size 4, making it impossible for me to even shop for those things there.I’m really disappointed for these reasons, as I’ve shopped Penney’s, I’ve gotten some fantastic deals in the past. It just seems this location is not being managed or maintained properly.
