They had some things in stock I wanted and a couple I needed. Overall, this is a pretty good store. My only complaint is, they send me catalogs with coupons stuck to the cover. The first one I peeled off was expired. Okay, no big deal, I had the one they sent me a few weeks after that...but when I peeled it off, It was also expired! It had the same expiration date as the one Id received a few weeks prior. I hadnt even had the 2nd coupon very long, so I kinda felt tricked into shopping there. Oh well, like I said, I got a couple things I needed.

I have found that the FARGO store staff always is kind and helpful with whatever my problem seems to be! I was in there this morning and they went out of there way to make sure i left satisfied!!!!!!! GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE! I only gave them 5 stars because that all there is THANK YOU GUYS

Parts didnt show up on an $1800 direct ship item from their Store In Fargo. Called into store to talk with Carter and after waiting 25 min on hold I decided to call back. For him to say yes you can come in and purchase the bolts for your items but we will have to charge you for them. Thanks for the top notch customer service Carter. Its some of the best in town.

Long story made short bought a log splitter and somehow part of the money was credited back to me but wasn’t in my account so I told the manager Randy I would pay it once the money was in my account. He didn’t like that so he said he was going to turn me in for theft. I contacted there corporate office and they were way less rude and easy to work with. They were polite and said they would be looking into what happened. I recommend not shopping at the store in Fargo unless you want to get threatened with theft.

I bought a pair of winter work gloves yesterday, when I got home they were not fitting very well due to how loose the insulation was, so the next day I went to return them and the manager said that they were dirty and torn in the inside, how they were returned is how I bought them the day before and he refused to do a return or an exchange. Definitely won’t be buying stuff again from here

I appreciate that the guys that work here know their equipment and they try to save you money when buying parts. Without assistance I would have spent over $300 today, but the guy showed me the stuff that I needed and saved me $200 by getting the parts for my pressure washer that I actually needed.

Ordering online is a nightmare. Bought a snowblower with shipping that said it would be delivered in 5-7 business days. By the 7th business day I had no tracking information and my card had still not been charged. I had to contact customer service to get a tracking number, it still wont show on their site. As I write this, it is the 9th full business day and its still not estimated to arrive until tomorrow, so 10 business days...2 calendar weeks. I should have ordered from Home Depot and asked them to match the price. At least I know they know how to ship things. I plan on asking them for some sort of compensation for wasting my time. The main reason we bought this from NT was because the shipping was estimated to arrive sooner, so much for that. The only reason they still get 3 stars is because the customer service has been very quick to respond and very helpful.

Went there to get a belt for a snowblower. The parts guy looked it up and said they were out. He said it was a little hard to find a part number for this snowblower. So I asked if he could give me that number so I could find this belt at another location. He said no but he offered to order it, I said I need it today so no need to order it. And I asked again for the number he said no again, I was looking right at his computer screen this entire time and so I looked at the # and he seen that and x out of it. So not only did he lose my business for the day but for good, Ill never go back. Ive asked for part numbers many time at other stores that did not have what I needed in stock and there happy to give me the number and even suggest a store that I could find it at. This is a 1st for me and the guy was rude the entire time as well. Theres too many stores that carry what they have. No need to go back... Never again

I purchased a Vogelzang Mountaineer wood stove to replace a Franklin wood stove.Once it was in place and the fire was lite, it was a world of difference.Im getting at least 50-60% more heat from the wood used and that quantity is much lower with the Mountaineer than with the Franklin. The cost of the stove was very good and the service/help of the employees at the Fargo store was excellent.The one thing that I didnt expect, was on the initial burn that there would be so much material that burned off the stove. That did create some bothersome smoke, but it did dissipate after a while.Im very happy with my purchase expect a warm feeling for several years to come.

Where do i start with this disastrous experience with northern tool. It all started the first week in october. I upped the limit on my card to purchase a standby generator expecting for the order to go through in a couple days. Over a week later they try to process the order and it gets declined because upped my limit for only 4 days. Not a huge issue so i contact them after upping my limit again to place the order. A week later it gets declined because they couldnt link the shipping address to me. So i cancel my order because frankly im tired of dealing with them at this point. I get a confirmation email that the order has been canceled, then i place the order with acme tools and have zero issues and its processed and shipped to my farm with no trouble at all. A literal month later i get an email from northern tool that my order is going to arrive shortly and im charged $4000 for the generator i canceled last month. After waiting on hold for hours and talking with no lie 7 different northern representatives i get another email saying that i will be getting charged 15% for a restocking fee and additional freight charges. This is all after i had cancelled the order and got confirmation that the order has cancelled. They tell me that I need to contact fedex and refuse the order and I need to contact generac and tell them why im not accepting the generator. Why am i doing all of this work to fix your mistake?????? so here i am waiting weeks and weeks with a $4000 debit on my account for a generator that i dont have nor want!!!! They still have not resolved the issue non of the customer service representatives know whats going on. I would give negative stars if possible. Go to acme tools for any of your needs!!!!!

Store is ok prices are ok but if you have a question about one of there products dont ask the manager he will attempt to belittle you for asking. Case in point I went in to get a replacement belt for my $1000 band saw I purchased there I asked the person at the till were the belts are because I could not find anyone else. She polity radio for help when the manager arrived he said very rudely we will need a part # or at least know what saw you have I replied I have this saw and herr is the part# then he started rudely we dont carry replacement belt you have to order it. Wow could you just say you dont have belts at all before assuming I blindly drive around town looking for a random belt.I petty the staff that work under this guy. Business would be better if he just stayed in his office and was no longer allowed on the showroom floor.

I needed some Trailer hubs. Called the store and got ahold of Randy hes the store manager. It was 7:55pm and asked if you could stay after 8 so I can get there and purchase new hubs. He stayed 20mins past 8. What amazing customer service from Randy and Westin for staying at work for me. It shows that there is still good customer service and good companies in the world. Thank you Randy and Westin again.
