The salesman, John Y., is an exceptional professional. Our experience with him, from beginning to beyond the end, was a standard of excellence in service. John should sincerely teach others how to provide such extraordinary service. John was knowledgeable about the products, had tremendous suggestions, assisted to have the work dine in the limited time we had, and graciously worked with our budget. We had both carpet and luxury vinyl flooring installed. The floors look FANTASTIC and we found no errors or adjustments to be made. We found Carpetland as we were unhappy with another vendor and decided to make a change. We are extremely happy that we did. Finally, after our work was completed, I reached out to John for a third service. While Carpetland does not provide that service (hardwood deep cleaning), John promptly suggested another company with contact information to reach that vendor AND a time that they were available. AMAZING!!Not only was the service unparalleled from the sales to the installation, the price was reasonable and we couldnt be happier. We cant recommend Carpetland enough and we hope to use Johns service again. THANK YOU!!

I think these guys do a good job. Here is my experience;OK - when I spoke with (John Y the sales person) I told him premium carpet and I knew exactly what my square footage or yards measurement for area I needed done.John was very professional and quoted me a price on Mohawk carpet, pad and install that was excellent. I also researched price and knew his bid was very competitive.Perfect install and easy payment on credit card.I would buy from Baileys Crossroads Carpetland again!

Carpet stores are kind of like that mystery of mattress stores. How do they afford that kind of real estate space selling something that everyone has but is only bought occasionally?Well, in the case of this Carpetland, it is the professionalism they are selling that makes it such an amazing value. I am not surprised that Johns face is the first image for this business. His professionalism and customer service is at the premium level, leaving no doubt why people come to this business.John went above and beyond to get us the runner carpet for my sons play area we ordered. He actually drove to a different location after work and brought it to our home before a long weekend. Because of that, my wife and I got to see his first steps last night because he had enough traction with his walker. We really appreciate that.The carpet was great, but John was amazing. I highly recommend this business and especially John.

Just finished my entire house with carpet from Carpetland (Falls Church location). They are professional, fair price, and have an excellent selection of carpets, area rugs and flooring. Jay helped us with carpet selection; John did precise measurements and recommended the best layout with minimal waste. Carpet installers were incredible, arrived at 6:30 a.m., were extra careful with my furniture; did not leave until 6:00 p.m with minimal lunch break. YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG with Carpetland. Highly recommended, these guys SAVED US!Made the mistake of using Empire and had our installation cancelled twice (twice!!!). Went to Carpetland and they sold and installed our carpet 2 hours later for cheaper than Empire.Super helpful staff, didn’t try to sell to us, got us exactly what we needed. Awesome experience.

Poor workmanship on installation of runner on stairway. The job was incomplete and I was told by the owner it would only take twenty minutes to do the job. The landing was left with padding only and no carpet. This is the worse customer service I have ever received and will never return to the store for future services. The work quality was terrible and not worth 443.00 to carpet 14 steps.

Horrible installation of tile. Regret the entire ordeal. Tile was not centered in room in either direction leaving small strips of tile at the doorway. Damage to existing wall tile that was caulked and not replaced. At least one tile was not even with the other tiles leaving a ledge of 1/16 which allows water to pool on the floor. Installation of the tile was to be with the length to the door - it went the other way. Once started, I conceded to the installer we would live with it. We did not plan to live with the rest of the errors. Carpetland only offered a 100.00 discount for the poor work claiming this was their BEST installer and this is how its done.I did business with Carpetland for 30 years. I notified the salesman WITH photos and he never had the courtesy to reply. Instead there was the insistence to pay the balance. The installer came over to look at it and he only complained of not being paid but did not offer to correct his mistakes.Its too late for me. Please learn from my mistake and pick another company that will stand by their work. Sad I have to give one star to post. They dont deserve it.
