Just recently bought a Tacoma from Milton at Churchill auto sales, start to finish he made the deal pleasant. We were buyers from out of state, and was texting me. Very quick responses and reasonable in negotiations. I was buying an off road truck and it had some obvious trail use. During covid (and how quick our deal went down) he was unable to detail it and sent me home with a voucher for a detail reimbursement. To make things even more thoughtful he sent a driver to pick us up at Reno. I love to support family business like these. Went in and they were super friendly and helpful. But when we told them that we would be able to put 11,000$ down on and 25,000 car they said they would check with their financial bank. They came back the next day saying sorry the bank wouldn’t Finace us. We know they didn’t check because their was no dings on both of our credit reports from a financial institution. So instead of lying to us they should have just told us they didn’t want to sell to us. Wouldn’t want to buy from people who lie anyways. We usually buy our cars outright and buy a lot of cars, so they just lost our business.
