The employees have great attitudes and very helpful, I always enjoy my visits. They have decent prices and discounts. They also have a good selection except for ammunition.

Wish they had deeper selection. Still more up to date stuff than anyone else has.

I was looking at product and the sales clerk Darius Gentry. Pointed out a mote suitable product for fewer dollars, then had me purchase more items for my bike trip only to save me another $15 dollars with a coupon. A very good sales man.

Life jacket shopping,only had one type one color so I suppose I will be happy with what I got. Body glove good price.

I had a list of specific items I wanted. The young woman, possibly a manager or assistant manager by her professional demeanor,, walked me through the store to find the different items. I wish I had her name because she deserves credit for such great customer assistance. I bought (another) backpacking tent. I am eager to set it up. I also bought a workout wicking shirt (in green oof course).

Usually have good sales on most everything here and decent selection of stuff. Stuff is nice, too.

I spent $110.00 in there today and from the time I walked in till the time I walked out the employees there made me feel very uncomfortable. They kept walking by me and staring at me. I was in there for a hour, got asked if needed help only once(1 time). I can understand stand if I went in there in with a baggy coat on. I did not, I am dresses in form fitting clothes. Not something I can hide items in at all. Would take pic, cant figure out how to post one. I will not be coming back to this store, or recommending it to anyone either.

Shopped with a friend. Was not treated well by staff. Felt overlooked and unwelcome. I did see many good bargains and she saved $ so I will return to visit this store and give the atmosphere a second chance

Has always been a great overlooked store. I love this place and I dont even play sports. They have guns, camp gear, and all sorts of sport gear along with fishing equipment. Ya cant go wrong.

The staff is friendly and they try to help. Unfortunately their selection is very limited in a lot of things.

Horrible customer service. H6sband and I went in looking for a exercise bike, which they dont carry, so I walked all over the store just looking and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE asked if I needed help. One employee was in the back, while 3, 2 girls and one male employees were up front laughing and giggling, ignoring myself and my husband. ( I could have been a thief, shoving stuff in a bag, and the employees would not have even noticed) . Made my way over to where my husband was, looking at the bbq guns, and we stood there for about 15 mins, before I hollered and said can we get some help over here please?. Then the male employee from the front came over. Then the male employee came out and went to the front and started talking with the girls.These 4 employees need a lesson in customer service. Because if it were not for us cutomers going to this store, they would not have a J. O. B.

I walk in and three ladies were behind the cash register chatting. One asked if they could help. I told her what I was looking for and she pointed to the wall and continued her conversation. So here I am with two little boys trying to pick out the correct sporting items they needed. My youngest had to use the restroom. So we walked toward the back and found a young man. He was in the middle of helping a customer and asked if we could wait a moment. I said yes. Then he went and unlocked the door for my son. Thank you:-) however later when I asked him if they carried little cleats for my son he showed me where they were and went back to where he was working. Again I was left to fend for myself. That same young man was now being the cashier. While the ladies were chatting. Ill give that young man 3 stars but overall except for him, no customer service. It look like he was the only one working. Shame on Management.

I love Big 5 in Fallon! The staff here is remarkably friendly and always happy to help. They have the best deals for name brand sporting goods. Dont waste your time traveling to Sparks or Reno when you can find better deals in Big Five. 10/10 would recommend.

Big 5 is the Kmart of sporting goods stores. Low end to barely midrange products in general. It isnt a place I go to look for serious sporting goods. However, when you need something beyond the extremely limited Walmart selection and cant wait for shipping, this is where you end up.Most of their sale prices are in line with regular prices online. Especially firearms, which are within 10% of regular retail price WHEN ON SALE.As long as you know what the products are (mostly lowest end Chinese import) and how the prices compare, it is a reasonable place to grab a few things
