Last oil change Christensen changed my oil to synthetic without asking and tried to charge me for an upgraded oil filter that I didnt need or ask for. Just found today when I went to a different place to do my oil that Christensen also stripped the oil pan bolt so they cant even get it off. Buyer beware.

As a Disabled Veteran on Oxygen I wondered How many peopleThey have cheated.Disgraceful.

My daughter and I were traveling from out of state. Just outside Fallon, our vans temp suddenly jumped. We ended up heading back to Fallon in search of a mechanic and chose Christensen because of the reviews. Not only did they fit us in, they really took their time checking our van out. In the end, it turned out to be nothing wrong, just a hot, old engine. I appreciated their service and honesty very much. We were able to complete our trip with confidence.

Called and received an appointment time for our motorhome generator. When we arrived they had scheduled incorrectly. They took the motorhome anyway, when we picked it up they said oh we didnt change the oil filter or the air filter just the oil. Very frustrating. Needless to say the generator would not stay working while on a camping trip. Called them to fix their mistake, made an appointment, when we arrived the owner was in and was rude said the customer is never right and they were not going to fix the filter problems. I dont think I will take my trucks for oil changes there anymore. Too many LOCALLY owned shops thatgive much better service.

From the minute I walked in the door, to picking up my truck, this was truly a complete five star experience at Christensen Automotive. My trucks key cylinder was not functioning properly and I wasnt sure who might be able to fix the problem. The nearest Dodge dealer was 50 miles away so I thought why not try the local repair shop. Best decision I ever made. John at check in was super! He got a technician out to my truck and Russell immediately nailed the problem down to one of three things. In less than an hour of trouble shooting, Russell zeroed in on the problem. He got the part ordered, with over night delivery, and removed and replaced the defective part first thing the next day. When I picked up my truck I was more than pleasantly surprised at the bill. Im sure this same repair at the Dodge service center would have cost three times what I paid at Christensen. I couldnt be happier and will definitely be returning for repairs / service when the need arises. Thank you Christensen Automotive!

We have taken both our vehicles to Christensen Automotive of Fallon and have been pleased every time. We have had routine maintenance and have had repair work done. The staff is friendly and efficient. Quotes have been accurate and if anything is found that we were not aware of they have called to inform us. We will be taking our vehicles there every time we need work done.

When I called to make the appointment they were friendly and worked with my schedule. Got there and they were friendly, professional and did a great job. While I was waiting they answered the phones and treated the other customers the same way they did with me.

It wasnt that I didnt like the business, I left my car parked overnight and someone drilled a hole in my fuel tank and stole my gas. And no camera where I was parked.

Great job. Repaired our transfer case. Had my truck towed into Christensen for a decoder motor, etc and was advised it was a t/case, shopped around and got a reman t/case. They did the install, just got done testing it out in the mud, lol. Dealt with Mike picked up truck today, they test drove, I test drove. Selector 4wd worked great. Works much better after a poor repair in Fernley. Very friendly, didnt try to sale me more than I needed done. I would recommend this shop. Price was as quoted.

I would say they are the best automotive care center in Fallon. Very polite. Very particular with you vehicle. Trust them doing your vehicle right and they tell you what is wrong and show you what is wrong with your vehicle

Was told my brakes where bad and wouldnt be safe to drive car. Took car to two shops in town and was told brakes where fine. Scare tactics, get a second opinion.
