Its a above average supermarket. A good selection of Seafood, Meats , cold cuts and cheese. They also sell Wine and Beer and Hard Liquor.

Extremely clean and well stocked supermarket. Told other people it was the cleanest and most organized supermarket I have ever been in. Many cashiers there to assist you and great deals. Mimo has relocated here from Fairviews famous italian deli, he has all his recipes and his personal touch on fresh mozzarella that he hand makes. Its a must if you are in the area!

As a supermarket, City is pretty much your average store. Some items are a bit pricey but they do run some fantastic sales. The liquor section has FINALLY opened and is very organized and stocked. Wide selection of wines, spirits and numerous hard seltzers at reasonably low prices but lacking IPAs and craft beers. The very few IPAs they do stock are generic like Voodoo Ranger, Sierra Nevada and Dogfish head, nothing that we all havent already had and can find anywhere for the same price. I was hoping it would be more like a shoprite liquors, where I can choose an IPA or micro brew that Ive never had or seen before. Overall Id recommend the liquor section for wine, spirits, seltzers and domestic beers. If youre looking for seasonal, local or micro beers, expect a limited selection. We go to City often, mainly for the fresh produce and delicious bakery & the deli department. Id recommend this place, and remember to check their circular for sales.

I really enjoy the selection of produce at City. It all looks very healthy. They also have a wider selection of foods from other cultures or ones my family would eat (i.e. different types of potato, Puerto Rican seasoning, Jamaican seasonings). The even have turmeric root. Some items are more pricey, but the atmosphere is great.

Decent place I only go there for certain things, I dont like their fruits and vegetables. They have these awesome little Portuguese rolls that I love. The wine and spirits is pretty good as well in term of pricing and selection. Overall its not bad but there is better supermarkets near by.

Prince yesterday they have had a glitch with their pricing machine and instead of doing their jobs and rectifying the matter I had to deal with their BS instead.I had 3 different meats in my cart that were labeled for 2 and 3 cents. I get to the checkout and they charge me 11.76$ instead of honoring the price they changed it. I have never known a grocery store not to honor the price listed on their products.I speak to the manager he says there was an error with the machine yesterday. Instead of making sure the product was off the shelf they tried to dupe the customer instead. I’ve NEVER EVER been to a grocery store that didn’t honor its prices mistake or not.Hell the manager didn’t even want to deal with me at all. I was advised not to leave that he tries to hide so he doesn’t have to deal with the meat pricing situation. The manager asked me if I wanted the meat for free that selling 3 packs of meat at 2 and 3 cents a piece didn’t sit well. I informed him that if I can’t trust the listed price of a product that they can change at the register at their will how am I suppose to know the real price. Their mistake had nothing to do with the consumer. The way it was handled was ridiculous after making me wait all because he didn’t want to deal with the situation.This store will never get another penny from me. I literally stopped shopping and left. This place has truly fallen apart. They closed the meat section and left the rotting meat for sale. Have great specials but don’t ring up at the register. The place is a disaster

Went to this store at 6:45pm today 12/9/19 and the store employee said they are closed. (No snow storm or bad weather just some rain only.)Update the website if you are changing your hours. There are lots of other stores nearby and won’t waste time going here.

This place is disgusting and the owner changes the name of it every few years to avoid paying his taxes.The stores hygiene could use some work. Half the store, closer to the meat and fish section, smells STRONGLY like rotting meat and old fish. If you stay in the store longer than 10 minutes, you will come out smelling like fish. You dont even need to be near this section.The fruit and vegetable prices are very reasonable here, and thats the only reason I come here. However, even that has a catch, too -- most of the fruits and vegetables that are super cheap are also super rotten. They sell cheap blueberries, you think its a great deal, take em home, and then find out every single one of them is sour as heck. You buy some great-priced strawberries, take em home, take em out of the container and find that theyre all rotten in the middle. You get maybe 5 strawberries out of the deal that arent completely moldy.Everything in this store comes with a catch, and its obvious that their purpose is not providing great food to its customers, but tricking their customers and making the most money they can.

Super Fresh is where the old A&P was. Has a very nice produce department, a small deli, fresh fish, and a nice section of wine and liquor. A good store for Hispanic items.

Good and cheap. They have a lot of choice. I love this place for shopping.

I have to leave review from a distributor point of view. Freshway is not paying their distributors. We have been delivering products for months and they keep playing us around. Calling many times with no luck. Mr. Phill Hwang pick up your phone and explain why you are not paying your bills.

Wanted a sandwich, both people in the deli was not able to help me. 1 was new and said she didnt know. The other one told me that a guy was not there, but he made some tuna wraps yesterday for today. She said she had a lot of cleaning to do. Even speaking spanish to her she didnt understand me.

Great products and good sales. A tad pricey if not an item on sale, however, most of the things you really need are typically on sale.

Only go there because it’s right here but has gone down hill with each name change. Prices are very often mislabeled and ring up wrong. Liquor prices are nuts and the selection’s pretty crappy. Not sure who drinks all the random things they sell and the stuff most people would want to buy is out of stock.Whole place smells like a fish market; they really need to figure something out about that.But like I said, it’s still handy to pick up most stuff so I still end up there as needed.

I made a quick stop here on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at around 1:30 and it wasnt crazy yet. Its a big enough market to find what you need, but still has the appeal of a smaller market.

I have been going to this place for the past 10 years, even tho they keep changing names and management. It’s convenient and close to home.. I like their vegetables and fish. (the guys at the fish station are very nice and willing to help) The reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars it’s because last week I was there and and I wanted to try their deli products for the first time but the lady behind the counter was not nice/friendly at all. “She was helping a couple in front of me and I was next on line, when she finish with them. she started packing and putting back the cold cuts and cheese etc, which I totally understand, BUT then she left to do something else and I was standing there for over 5-8min and then I go where she was and I said “excuse me I been waiting” and she gave me a look and said yes I’ll be right with you. but she never helped me.” I was in a rush and left. I work two jobs where they are both related to customer service and this behavior is unacceptable. She saw me on line, I was next and she completely ignored me, went to do who knows what and doesn’t say a word... Not acceptable, I will continue to buy my cold cuts at BJs.

This pace is filthy. i wouldnt shop here for the simple fact all the produce looks gross and they dont care if it falls on the floor they just pick it back up and put it back, its all dirty and just downright gross looking. all the shelves look bare or low stalk

Bought $20 lobster tails. They were rotten with green and yellow color. They hide it by packaging shell side up. Also wanted to buy oxtails but meat was brown and smelly. Stay away from this market!
