My go to knife sharpening shop. They always do an amazing job and my knives and scissors cut like brand new. I only wish they were open on weekends, because they have limited weekday hours and I always have to pay extra for shipping which costs almost as much as the sharpening.

Daniel is beyond knowledgeable about all knives in general. More importantly he has detailed knowledge of all his products. That combined with the best service makes this place a definite go to for any thing knivea

I only recently discovered this shop, and it is very local to me. I stopped in today and was impressed by their stock. They had a great collection of Benchmade, Spyderco, and even a handful of Chris Reeves Knives, among others. The prices were more than fair for a brick and mortar shop. I will definitely be back, and I plan on giving their sharpening service a try as well.

I walked in to get a Lansky Quick Fix Knife Sharpening for $5 and ended up leaving with a Chris Reeves Umnumzaan Knife for $425. The store is well kept and a delight to to walk around looking at all the beautiful knives and accessories. I didnt get the name of the person helping me but he was awesome!!! He was very helpful in showing me the different types of sharpeners and sharing his knowledge. I will definitely comeback again.

Knife sharpening services are few and far between, but it is great when you find a fully competent, friendly and affordable location near by. Cutlery Mania answers the phone pleasantly, takes their time and gives all the information you could want. They turn around your knives in 24 hours. My two chef knives are perfect and for only $5 per knife. My ONLY suggestion might be shifting their hours so that if you work full time, you can get there while open...they do have Saturday hours though. But that does not take away a star as their business may mostly be mail or commercial.

Dropped by for the first time the other day. I looked around the whole store, and addition to letting me handle every knife I was interested in, the owner was very knowledgeable about his products. He was great to talk to and he has great products. Best cutlery store in NJ that I know of

Huge selection and helpful employees. Let me try all the knives I wanted and gave me a good price. They told me they could have my knife back by tomorrow sharpened, and to my surprise I had it back in 10 minutes with a great edge for only a couple bucks. Would recommend if you want to try out some knives before buying.

Daniel and the rest of the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I saw someone say the knives are pricey but if you try to buy the specific knives they have you will pay more anywhere else. They have a great selection of knives and I have brought many coworkers and friends there. No complaints from anyone everyone loves the place I highly recommend!

I live near their store so I stop in when I am looking for a new knife.They are always very nice and very helpful. Never pushy and never in a hurry. Prices are excellent and the one time I did a return (changed my mind) it was very easy with no hassle.

Called inquiring about a $550 knife, I wanted to confirm they had it in stock and what options they had. I was also curious if they had it in a different size, as i was pretty sure what size i wanted but have never held one before, so I wanted to see and feel my options. The guy on the phone kept referring me to his website for stock, and couldnt tell me what he had. It was a simple call to see availability, and I would have been there within an hour to purchase.They either didnt know their stock, or didnt care enough to tell me. Either way thats not how I do business. Traveled further and got the knife and service I wanted. If I wanted to look at a website, I would just order online and save some cash. I wanted local support and opinions.

I had no idea I was so close to such a great knife store. (A great knife store in New Jersey....never would have believed it!) My friends and I used to make day trips in to PA for knife shopping, but no more!The selection of pocket knives is drool worthy and means that I will be bringing and sending people often. The selection of chefs knives means my daughter is going to LOVE this place.The shopping environment is casual and stress free. The employees are friendly and helpful. The pricing is very reasonable and fair. The number of brands, models, and inventory is an impulse shoppers nightmare :-)You will not be disappointed making a trip to Cutlery Mania.

Very nice shop with a large inventory. Stores inventory shows online which was nice so I didnt have to call ahead to see if they had a specific knife I was looking for. I checked the website later that night and it showed the quantity dropped by one so its actually accurately. Dealt with one guy not sure if hes the owner or employee but nice guy took time to go over the knife I wasooking for and offered up some suggestions without being pushy. Prices for what I was looking at was right around online pricing maybe a couple bucks more but nothing outrageous. Ill be going back for the next one in my collection

Ive shopped at Cutlery Mania a few times over the past year and always had a great experience. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped my wife with a new set of chef knives, a cubscout knife for my son and a jack knife for me. They got a repeat customer for life.

Im impressed. As a collector and one that also appreciates a solid work worthy, everyday carry blade, this is my new source for cutlery both kitchen and carry. The staff was very helpful and the selection varied. When I lost my favorite carry blade of 16 years I came here and walked out a happy man.

I was trying to get there before they closed but am new to the area and got onto the wrong exit ramp. When I showed up, the managers were still there. They let me in and answered all my questions. I had a lot because the selection of folding knives is extensive. I ended up getting a nice ti-monolock from Benchmade.I didn’t feel rushed at all and learned a ton just talking w the manager. Went there on an early Saturday morning. I came in looking for my first set of sharpening stones, but wanted advice and I GOT IT. I was walked through everything clearly. No belittlement, just honest information. No pressure sales either since I was peeking at upgrading my opinel.

First time in the store, as I’m from California. I needed a Swiss Army knife. Ended up with the suregrip 17 blade. Which was a little more than I needed, but was definitely on my list of had to have knives. Service was fantastic , price point great, and I am cheap! Hope to get back there next week or at least before I have to go home.

This shop is really great! They have an outstanding selection instock and on display. I bought my first Benchmade knife from them about 2 years ago and have loved it ever since. Benchmade is such a well made knife, and I’ve returned again to Cutlery Mania to buy my 2nd Benchmade. They really know their products well and the stuff is very helpful.

I needed a double edged defensive knife to have its point redone..they turned me away..said they couldn’t do it ....while I was there I simply asked to see a knife that they had on display there and was told I’d get into trouble with the police and she was reluctant to show it to me ...I pulled out my shield and ID as I’m a retired NYC cop (mind you I’m Spanish) and it made me feel like I was being racially profiled...why have a knife on display that your not willing to sell?..Atleast not to a person of your liking ??..never again..I’ll take my business elsewhere !!!

Visited while in town on a business trip Jun 2017. The staff was very helpful. After browsing for about 30 minutes, I started asking every question that came to mind... knife steels, sharpening equipment, bali-song laws, etc... eventually, I bought a Sun Pro yanagiba, a Shun “Blue Steel” honesuki and three full-size Prehda stones - all at very competitive prices. I’ll try to stop back in again.
