Great help from girl at counter, but she was very overworked and needed another person to help others!This time she had help, and again was very nice and helpful.Im going back to see her in Aug when my contract needs attention.I live in Iowa City, Iowa and the only customer service store is in Coralville Iowa (suburb of IC) and though there are plenty of employees, the place is chaotic. They need a receptionist so someone at least acknowledges your presence. Its common to wait an hour before anyone talks to you. If you just want to buy something and go, theres nothing you can do but wait. I just buy elsewhere, or wait till I can get to Fairfield.

Hands down was Mariah the most helpful, selfless, kind employee I have EVER encountered. I came into store at 530, store closed at 7pm, I left at 920pm. I had to get a new phone, experienced set back from the high calls due to pandemic, and etc. Etc. Mariah was determined to have me leaving with a working phone. Honestly folks, unbelievable kindness walking into this store. I shall never go anywhere but here for my Verizon services/ needs.

As always when Ive come to this store, I was greeted immediately and received very helpful service. Today I came with a weird technical problem which, unfortunately could not be fixed in-store. However, the staff were so helpful trying to fix the issue and giving me advice as to what to tell the phone tech when I call Verizon, that I really didnt mind that I leaving without the issue being solved.And how often does That happen??👍😊

If you go in to get a plan or upgrade your plan. They do a fine job. Go in there needing help or to ask a question about your plan, you might as well be a Zombie with the plague. GO TO THE ACTUAL VERIZON STORE IN IOWA CITY. Youll have a totally awesome experience.

Did not honor their 14 day warranty on their phone. Nothing wrong with the phone, but the mgr refused the return. Buyer beware!

I bought a new phone here. The staff was not upfront about all the charges and taxes involved, even though I asked detailed questions. They also signed me up for device insurance, which I clearly declined.

I walked in with a broken phone. The associate didnt even take the phone from me. They told me that there was nothing they could do. I would have to take the phone to Iowa City (an hour drive both ways) so they could hook it up to a special computer. I went to the Iowa City Verizon store where they TOOK my phone and TRIED to do something with it themselves. Then they CALLED in the claim for me. I asked them why this couldnt have been done in THIS STORE IM REVEIWING and they responded with, they should have. The gentleman in the Iowa City store was amazing, helpful, and most apologetic for the mistakes of others who simply didnt want to DO THEIR JOB. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE AS THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN RUDELY SELLING PHONES AND PROVIDING NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER SALES.

Wow! Michaela and Mariah are on fire!! I staggered into Verizon CellOnly Fairfield in a panic because like a lunatic I lost my phone in the snow. In the words of my teenage daughter its a xxxx phone anyway and is so old the factory doesnt even make them anymore. Without skipping a beat Michaela found me a replacement cheap as chips and before I was even finished complaining she found me a wicked-awesome deal with a case which actually fits my new phone, a glass protector, a suave hands free kit and a badly needed selfie stick for my daughter and all in stock! I was encouraged to go back and be counseled in preparation for my up-grade!

Elderly mother went in with her new Verizon phone from online for assistance getting it set up on the network, and she was charged $25 to literally tell her the password wouldn’t work, and sent her on her way. Calling corporate!! I spend $450 a month with Verizon and have had Verizon for 19 years. Authorized dealers I would think have some responsibility to help Verizon customers.

Went in because my phone wouldnt turn on or respond and the manager wouldnt look at it just told me I had to claim it on insurance. She was more worried about leaving for the weekend. Went over to Washington Verizon store and they fixed it right away! Washington store is the place to go!
