I hired the company to renovate my kitchen. I had never undertaken a major renovation and the team really took the time to walk me through the process, from the design to permitting and execution. Even though my kitchen was quite small, they were still incredibly responsive to my (many) questions. Finally, their work was excellent.

My bathroom remodel turned out beautifully and only $100.00 over budget. I must compliment the technicians and all the staff at KBR in Fairfax. For my 1st major remodel the process was surprisingly easy without any major issues. So, if I was grading out of 10 stars I would give 9 ½, as there was a slight communication probably in the middle of the remodel. Over all everyone was friendly, experienced, and the designer walked me through choosing the fixtures, tiles, and products for the bathroom. The finished product was absolutely beautiful, and I would choose and recommend KBR 100% for future projects.

The team was professional from start to finish. We sought several quotes and KBR listened to our ideas/budget and provided a quote and drawings that best represented our ideas. The crew was very respectful and worked tirelessly to complete our project with minimal disruptions to our living space. I will definitely use them again on future projects.

KBR did a great job or remodeling our bathroom. It wasnt one of these deals where it takes the contractor forever - they were real focused on getting the job done quickly. We also really appreciated getting input from their work crews - they had excellent suggestions for us when it came to making certain detailed decisions about the project.

Silviya, Huseyin, Irving, and their crew, from start to finish, were careful, efficient, competent, timely, clean, and demonstrated a genuine concern that their work be of top quality. I love the cabinets, countertop, floor tile, backsplash, and faucet. The color combination turned out to be beautiful. The crew consistently left the place tidy after each days work and were regular in removing the trash. I must say that given the timeliness in which the job was completed, the quality of the work, and the final result, the price charged by KBR was very reasonable and fair. Belle Yucel (KBR Designer) used on site visit and discussions with us to come up with a beautiful solution. Materials were ordered and work crew showed up every day as expected and completed the remodel job in minimum time. The crew cleaned up the work site every day. Unforeseen issues were discussed and addressed via change orders. We are totally happy with KBR and would choose them again for future work. If you are looking for a high quality job by a local small business - choose KBR! The designer and crew were really artisans!Description of work:Complete kitchen and dining room design, demo and remodel. Installed new lighting, cabinets, countertops, porcelain tile floor and SS appliances (Owner purchased). Electric service upgraded to meet code. Removed non-load bearing wall to open up space. Moved stove and installed exhaust vent to outside. New design allowed for larger refrigerator and pennisula island with counter seats.

Surprised to found some positive reviews but left me wondering if an entirely different staff assisted me when I hopped by. I was so excited to get our bathrooms remodeled, hopefully to change all the stained floor tiles and grout. We have them all white so cleaning can be quote tedious and require daily maintenance so I decided to have them all changed. My friend suggested this company and sadly we dealt with delay in communication and lots of miscommunication. I don’t recommend this company to anyone.

I worked for KBR for 3 years and I am pleased to say that this is a very good company to work for. Everyone there was very easy to get along and work with. My boss was very helpful and understanding. Very family oriented company and will always help you with whatever you need to succeed in your job! If I could go back I would !

Never pressured or pushed us on options. Made us feel in control of project. We wanted shower bench for corner. Upon demolition, they discovered dead space that would allow for possible expanded space. We asked about extra cost and they came back with well-priced quote - again, no pressure. We went with it - best thing we did! They treated our remodel as if their own house and turned out beautiful. Worked continuously without interruption. We wanted one-stop shop without hassles. Review of KBR – Bathroom remodelsI hired KBR after interviewing 4 other companies. My first requirement was that they did the Schluter Kerdi Shower method because our master bath shower developed a serious leak. This is what prompted the renovation rather than just fix what we had.My first meetings were with designer, Silviya. She had a great design for the master bathroom and helped me select the colors and materials. I went to Ferguson’s to select all the fixtures. The finished master bathroom matched the design perfectly. The second guest bathroom was standard, and we used the same nice wood cabinets and pebble insets in the shower bath.The team was led by Omer (the PM) and Ervin as the crew leader. I was very happy with the efficiency, professionalism and hard work the crew performed. They showed up exactly when they said they would, cleaned up and responded to my questions well.My one criticism with KBR Kitchen and Bath is they did not use the Schluter Kerdi Shower method as they promised and contracted to do. The designer, Silviya wrote on the contract that the Schluter method would be used for the new master shower and when the technician Olegariao was putting in the shower tray, I noticed it wasn’t orange and when I asked whether he was using the Schluter method, he explained that KBR uses the KBRS system (Schluter method’s competitor). Because I didn’t know about this, I called Omer and he had Cemil (the head PM) step in. They immediately got the KBRS rep to come out to the house and show that KBRS is comparable to the Schluter method. Cemil made sure I was happy. What was important is that KBR stepped up and resolved the issue.The crew consisted of Omer as the PM, Silviya as the designer and Gilter and Ervin’s brother, Audelio as the two main technicians. Everyone was very professional, and they locked up our house most nights without a problem. Sometimes it was hard to communicate more detailed things because I don’t speak Spanish – like explaining how to turn off the water with our new water heater but the crew made every effort to resolve any problems that came up. And Ervin was extremely diligent and came when needed.And there are always issues with renovations. KBR partitioned all work areas and cleaned up every night. There was a little damage to the paint in various places, but they fixed it to my satisfaction. And after initial trouble with communication, Omer and crew were very attentive.I also want to say that KBR did this work at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. They were extremely careful. They all wore masks. They disinfected the bathroom they were using and told me they were being careful outside of work. This eased my worries because the work was supposed to start at the end of March when the pandemic started and everything shut down. KBR understood my concerns and delayed start of work for 5 weeks. They started mid-May and finished around July 4th, which was on schedule. The glass for the shower was delayed but it worked out fine.I love my new bathrooms and plan to have KBR come bid on our Kitchen and basement.

Working with KBR has been a great experience. We choose them because we saw all the great reviews and now we understand why people are happy with KBR. From the day he first came over to look at our kitchen and give a quote and throughout the project they were great. The quote was little more than the others but it was still reasonable. At the end of the day they did such a great job. Their focus on details was outstanding. Great service and excellent quality!!!

KBR did a fantastic job with our kitchen and flooring remodel. Silviya, our designer was great to communicate us and helped us pick a layout and materials that work beautifully in our home. Our project manager and technicians were professional, courteous, and neat. They installed everything with care and it all looks so beautiful. They also finished the entire project in just under 3 weeks - yes an entire kitchen demo and rebuild and all new flooring in just under three weeks! Their pricing on labor allowed us to use high end materials and we couldnt be more happy with the finished product.

Cant say enough good things about the work of KBR. We just had our THIRD bathroom done and it is as gorgeous as the first two. Next month will be the fourth and final bathroom. The quality is super high and the price very reasonable. The teams that show up are professional, thorough, and very good. I highly recommend them--my husband and I use the Fairfax location.

Hired them to update our master bathroom. As opposed to other designers, Sylvia took the time to talk to us about what we wanted and not on what she wanted us to buy.  Their price was 1/2 of what other places had quoted us. Job was done on time and the contractors made every effort to clean up after themselves which allowed us to sleep  in our bedroom during the construction.  They were always available to take our calls. Very professional and always on time. A+++++++. Kudos to our contractors Jeff and Will!

We just finished our master bath remodel and could not be happier. We had five quotes for this project and only Silviya sent a quote with estimated costs without having to visit the showroom first. When we went to discuss our design, Silviya was very professional and knowledgeable and remembered every detail we discussed weeks earlier in our home. Our technician, Kai, was absolutely amazing, working 5-6 days a week. He was a perfectionist and his work was top notch. The end result was better that we could have hoped for. I look forward to having KBR and Kai come back to remodel my other two bathrooms.

We contracted KBR for a full kitchen remodel. While the final result looks good, the project execution left us frustrated and concerned with quality. First, KBR did not employ a licensed electrician or plumber nor was the work reviewed by by such. Their initial wiring violated the most basic code s and Im confident it would have gone uncorrected if we hadnt caught it.The program manager did not return calls or keep us us updated on status. Furthermore, he only checked on the subcontractors performance once despite raising concerns on a couple occasions.The result is good but I do not recommend them.

I didn’t get a red carpet when I visited this location, but overall customer service was satisfactory. A lot of room to improve, but I think they’re much better than others in the area — programmed to make sure that you’re happy, from start until the end. One of the employees was “serious”, but I think it is worth the experience since it was the most affordable price based on the quality service they provide. It was my understanding that we would get certain types of cabinets that they have in their inventory. But it was nice to have a variety of selections that allowed us to custom build our countertops and backsplash. Oh, and the design is free. They won’t charge you even if you don’t buy.

We used KBR to remodel our kitchen to include demo of the old cabinets, installation of new cabinets and granite counters and a small amount of plumbing and floor work. We could not be happier with the finished product. We worked with John as our designer. He was gracious and helpful throughout the entire process. The crew that performed the work was also very nice and extremely hard working. I truly would be hard pressed to come up with any negatives. A+++

We had 3 bathrooms done at once - the Master Bath, Hall Bath, and Powder Room. Belle was amazing and she helped us every step of the way - from design layout to choices for tile, countertop, paint, etc. We could not have done this without her, and we are so pleased with the results. Sometimes I walk into our newly remodeled bathrooms and I dont want to leave - it looks fantastic and very calming, just as planned. What I liked most about Belle was her honesty. She wasnt pushy, but if I had picked something out that she thought would not work, shed let me know, and this is exactly what I wanted from her - she has the design skills, shes done this many times before, and this is why we picked KBR. Same goes for the rest of the crew. They were very professional, they knew what they were doing, I could tell theyve done this before many times, and if I had a question about anything, someone was always there to respond. For every issue that came up, they responded promptly. I couldnt believe the end result - it was so much nicer than I could have imagined! They completed the contract within the agreed upon timeframe. We did have some change orders, but these were due to unforeseen issues that came up during the renovation, or they were requested add-ons. And so overall, we couldnt be more pleased and we highly recommend this firm for their professionalism and quality work!

KBR Bethesda did an excellent job renovating our kitchen. All the personnel we interacted with were professional and courteous. Sims was the designer who helped us develop the concept for the kitchen with ideas and a few rounds of edits from us. Adem who was the project manager was on top of things; in particular the time line of 3-4 weeks was maintained. He was always available to answer any questions we had through the process. He also worked with DCRA for getting the permits and inspection process. The crew who was there on duty including Ahmet were clean, thorough and friendly. They truly deserve a 5-star rating.

The job started on time and was completed within budget and actually a few days ahead of schedule.Dany arrived daily with the rest of the crew on the project and worked alongside them each day. He was extremely friendly and helpful, and kept the project going in an organized and efficient manner. The crews arrived when expected and worked very hard. Huseyin was the project manager and was always available to address any concerns or answer questions we had during the project.We were impressed by the way KBR really listened to us, answering our questions and coming up with solutions to any problems or concerns. Very poor customer service experience, especially if you are younger...(We are both in our late 20s and are redoing our kitchen and adding an island, and we are planning on redoing all 4 bathrooms in our house.)My wife and I walked into the store when it was somewhat slow about 3 other groups of people in the store. There were a few sales people helping the few groups of people in the store. We were not greeted by the person at the front when we walked into the store, so we started to browse. We found several different options, and we had some questions about how quickly certain cabinetry would take to arrive once ordered, as we want to get the work started soon.There were two other sales people in the back of the store who were sitting on there phones either texting people or playing games. We walked passed them and made eye contact with multiple sales people who just ignored us even after we were the last two people in the store there was still not a single sales person who would even acknowledge our existence. Easily one of the worst experiences that I have ever had in any kind of store like this and that includes the flooring and bathroom sections in Home Depot.Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, as the selection is not great and the people are just plain rude and unhelpful.

We LOVE our new kitchen and we are so glad we went with KBR Kitchen and Bath. The workers they sent to our home were very skilled and the quality of their work was excellent. We did a total demo and then installed new everything - cabinets, counter-tops, some floor work and new appliances that required electrical work and plumbing. KBR knew exactly what was needed and were helpful as we made our choices. They started and ended on time both daily and then from the beginning to the end of the project. We were new to this experience having never remodeled before so we learned a few things. 1.) Ask questions - about EVERYTHING - make sure everything you want is addressed - dont assume that items that seem standard to you are standard... and 2.) ask MORE questions as the process moves along. If you are concerned about something dont wait because they do move along quickly and tomorrow will be too late. KBR will accommodate your requests and do everything to make sure you are happy. Finally - it will cost you more in the end than you thought because things do come up and it will be nobodys fault. Just be prepared. I would use KBR again - Hakan is a hoot and fun to work with... I found all of the designers, staff and workers very helpful. Have fun!

KBR Kitchen & Bath provides the best value for your money of fully packaged products/services for your kitchen & bath remodeling needs!After some 30 years, our kitchen Formica countertops were in need of replacement so we turned to Angie’s List for recommendations of good suppliers in our Northern VA area. KBR was one of two firms we contacted and found their Mr. Hakan Ureten (Kitchen & Bath Designer) to be the most helpful in steering us through the process of selecting a good granite material for our countertops and at the most affordable price.We simply walked into KBR without an appointment and met with Hakan. He had on display one foot square samples of granite and a range of various color cabinets on which we could place each selected sample to match with our existing cabinets. Once we selected a few good matches, he arranged for us to go to the stone warehouse to see the full sized granite slab to finalize our selection and reserve the exact slab for our job. We learned that viewing the full sized slab was the most important step in this whole process and insured we would obtain the desired effect we were looking for in our new kitchen countertops.Within one day of selecting the slab and concluding a very favorably priced contract, the KBR Mongolian stone artisans arrived to take the final measurements of our kitchen using not only a trusty tape measure but also an electronic device that actually mapped our existing countertops. Two days later, the uniquely skilled crew returned with the perfectly cut pieces to replace our countertops and overcame some long standing problems we had experienced with our old countertops.Included in this package was a new double sink. That installation also proved challenging because over the years other plumbers had made a mess of the underlying drainage piping and garbage disposal installation. KBR’s technician had to re-plumb the whole sink system, including the reinstallation of the garbage disposal, which for the first time now runs silently.Conclusion: KRB Kitchen & Bath performed outstandingly in meeting our needs to upgrade our kitchen countertops in a timely and very cost effective manner. We highly recommend their services and would be pleased to use them again.

We walked into the store when it was slow with three people sitting around. We werent acknowledged and had several sales people walk by us and just ignore us. I even asked one to help me with her saying no I cant help you I have a customer coming in to see me soon...Really? Just avoid this place.
