We shopped here before moving east for 15 years and were happy to see theyre still the same service oriented, high quality merchandise provider as before. We went in, immediately found exactly what we were looking for to enhance our new home in two areas, arranged for delivery and installation, and were out of there in half an hour. Stress free shipping at its best.

We were able to find what we wanted, get out ordered, and quickly get in and out!

They have so many beautiful lamps, ceiling fans, ceiling lights, basically any kind of light you need plus some furniture and decorations. All of which is quality stuff. I have shopped here for years and bought many beautiful pieces and decor. We are now remodeling again and using them for our new items. Love it.

Sold me a light kit that came with no pull chain, so I have to manually unscrew lights every time I dont want them on, such as daylight! The salesperson who sold it to me didnt bother to tell me this and my choices that do fit look just like Home Depot and Home Depot would have been a lot cheaper.For me the service has always been poor, but they are close and do have a better selection so I put up with it.Ive had enough and just wont give them my money anymore. Make sure you dont pay for a light kit that costs almost as much as the fan itself and doesnt work properly. Ask. Nobody cares enough to tell you.

This location has piss poor customer service with lazy sales representatives that dont follow-up on shipments or orders. There only interested in receiving their commission than they are with the customer receiving the product. Best to visit the location for product ideas and order from the online store.

Great customer service. Bought a lot of lightning fixtures including bulbs. A couple of bulbs broke and was immediately replaced by customer service. I initially bought multiple fixtures @ lighting the web.com and had a really difficult time with returns and customer service in general. You can really see the difference in customer service - Lamps Plus folks are well trained - you can hear it in the way the phone is answered and just their ease of product replacement in general.

Dont bother buying their installations services for fans. Their guys just showed up, they want my dining room table moving before theyll work. Would have been nice to know that before. Back to my regular electrician I guess. I would summarize Lamps Plus as having some good products but they are a very aggressive sales organization with very average customer service.

Good selection, friendly staff, but pretty high prices. Overall worth checking out.

Contacted the Fair Oaks location to make my purchase. Lori Will assisted me and helped me with my order, thankfully, as I was about to order 7 of the wrong lights... With Loris assistance I was able to get my order placed before the 2:00 shipping deadline and we received the lights promptly! Great customer service and highly recommend this location for all your lighting related needs.

Went in for 2 lampshades. Found just what we needed. A large supply to choose from - many different styles.

They were so helpful when trying to find lamps for our bedroom. We had to return the lamps 2 times because they just did not go with our bedroom set. They had no problem with our returns and encouraged us to try again. The 3rd time was a charm and we LOVE our new lamps! Thank you Lamps us for being so accommodating.

The people there are very helpful. There are soo many lights that it was hard to choose from but chai was able to help us out on finding the right one. Was able to order three lights two for kitchen and one for dining table. Told my mom she is excited to check the place out.

Ordered two pendant lights and we did not notice the globe on one was cracked until we had it fully installed :( I called Lamps Plus and they sent a new globe out the next day. There were issues replacing (holes did not line up, screws missing, etc) it so we took it back to the store where the manager gladly exchanged it with a new one out of the box. A very good experience, they stood behind their product

The specialist who helped us was friendly and efficiently found the lamps we wanted. He helped us purchase in store and have the rest of our order shipped. He was also very helpful in letting us know the timeframes we could expect our shipment in. Luckily our shipment came much faster than anticipated.

This store has a giant selection of lamps, chandeliers, etc. Bob helped me order a chandelier for my entry way. He was very professional and kind. I will definitely have to come back as we will need other type of lighting once we fully finish remodeling our home. I am also referring this business to my clients as well.

Lamps Plus gave us exceptional service in helping us decide which fans out of the 88 displayed that we purchased. We needed three overhead fans and Chris turned on lights and spun the blades of the many we were interested in. He looked up the specs and colors available on any fan we requested. The store was easy to get to with ample parking. He discussed the quality of the fans, the manufacturers specs and gave some suggestions that he thought might suit our needs.

The selections were plentiful and the service provided by Chris was outstanding.

The store did not have old fashion swag lamps but Sean was able to find them online and ordered a lamp for me that will be delivered to my home in a week! Thank you Sean!

I recently bought a floor lamp and am very happy with it. I wish I could have waited until it went on sale as it was a bit pricey. I found a dining table chandelier that I just ordered and hope it looks as good as in the photos. I was looking for an all glass console table and found exactly what I wanted from Lamps Plus. I just thought I’d check Amazon. Same exact table for over $100.00 less. Compare prices!

My experience shopping at Lamps Plus was a 10 all the way around. Couldnt have had a better Lady Sales Rep waiting on me.

Picked out a relatively inexpensive floor lamp and I questioned how big of a bulb could go in it so I could read. The saleswoman changed the bulb twice so I could check it out! Great customer service! They put it together for me and carried it to my car. Nice people and customer service you dont find just any where any more!

Chandelier promised to be delivered in early January, now they estimate it will be end of February

Even though they did not have what we were looking for they were incredibly helpful. Looking for a florescent light and found out a new law is eliminating them. The woman that helped us was very informative and professional. This was the first time Ive been to this store and I was so incredibly impressed with everything about it. All lighting, furniture and accessories are of great quality and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. This is definitely a great place to go to shop for someone as well. I will definitely be back.

Wow! They have a lot of lighting options. Almost overwhelming. Luckily I was met by a delightful lady that was able to steer me to what I wanted. Desk mounted drafting lamp. They had my lamp in stock. Otherwise it would have been free shipping, 2 to 3 days. Prices vary greatly. Lots of affordable and stylish choices. A plethora of high cutting edge options as well. Signed up for the free ewards program and got a free LED bulb.

Its a beautiful store with people that are generally very friendly. I find it interesting, though, EVERY time I have ever walked in here with a question, within the first three minutes of being there they typically recommend I check with a store called BulbMan. While I appreciate their willingness to send me elsewhere just to see that my needs get met, it often seems like a little bit more time on their part would get me the answer Im looking for and gain themselves a sale.

I went here once for some lamp shades, and was very surprised by the prices. I understand believing in your products, but the prices seem a little too steep for me. Otherwise, they have a great selection and are willing to order items for you that they dont have in the store. This seems to be where to go for hard to find items.

I bought 2 chandeliers from Lamps Plus in Citrus Heights on June 23, 2015. I also purchased from the the installation for the 2 chandeliers and 1 other that I wanted hung. They charged me $390.00 and said they would arrive at my home within the hour. I waited 3 hours and had to leave-my husband stayed behind.There is a simple formula for hanging distance in relation to dining room and kitchen tables, as well as the entry way! Its simple and can be done by googling in 5 seconds.Anyway the installer was told to do it by normal specifications by by husband who is not a light installer. They proceeded to leave a 7 inch chain, leaving the lamp at the top of the ceiling. 48 inches from the dining room table where it should be hung 30-36 inches from the table.I immediately called them and told them this was unacceptable! The assistant manager asked me what I wanted done. I told him, hang the lights the correct distance from the tables, they look ridiculous! I called for the next two days as well as the installer that is hired by lamps plus. Noone has returned my calls!The job was done poorly and they have done nothing to rectify the situation!Poor, poor customer service. Meanwhile, I have 2 lights that are supposed to be hanging chandeliers hung up on the top of the ceiling. It looks ridiculous and like an unprofessional buffoon placed them there!That one star is a lie. there was not an option for negative numbers!

Too expensive

So many different types of lights omg overwhelming almost. Very pricey but they greeted me immediately and tried to find what i needed. This place is definitely the lighting spot!

I purchased a variety of lamps at this store for my remodeled bathrooms. They always have a good variety to choose from. They also have a variety of others in their catalog. I like this store and will continue to buy there.

This review is not about this store in particular but about Lamps Plus in general.Think twice before buying from these people, their return policy is misleading. With the two big box stores they will allow returns no matter the reason. The wife bought a lamp from Lamps plus and it came in a plain box without a picture so I didnt know what is was supposed to look like. The instructions were pitiful without clear illustrations, and no parts list. So once I assembled and installed the lamp the wife says it doesnt look right and is supposed to hang lower. We go over the instructions and look through the box and do not see any more parts. Finally after pulling the last styrofoam out of the box we find a couple of rods taped to the bottom. At this point wires are cut to length and we cannot put these rods on to extend the lamp. We call the Lamps Plus phone number and explain the problem with the packing and poor instructions and they are telling us that sorry were out of luck and its going to cost us $50.00 dollars to return or exchange this product. With the poor directions and hidden parts this was a loser from the start and we will never buy from this company again and will stick with stores that stand behind their products and really to mean it when they say customer satisfaction.

Very expensive shipping. Each light fixture was $40.00 to ship to my house. The return cost was $50.00. Returns are very difficult and expensive. Two stars for their style and selection. I found these costs and their policy were hidden. Either case, you better know youll like it from their online pictures or you will PAY dearly for it.

Well, ordered a ceiling fan over a week ago from the Fair Oaks store. It was supposed to arrive at the store and then be shipped to me to arrive on Thursday. Thursday came and went... no fan.Called Friday, they said they would next day it to me to arrive on Saturday. Saturday and Sunday came and went... no fan.Called at 10AM this morning, Jeremy told me he would talk with the shipping guy and call me right back... Its been an hour, still no word on my $300 fan.I took last week off work to do the living room renovation, everything is done... except for the fan... I wanted to have it installed before the carpet gets installed tomorrow. Doesnt look like thats going to happen.Additionally, actually getting help while in the store was next to impossible. Not enough staff and zero organization. While their selection is great, Im not sure Ill be going to Lamps Plus when we do the remaining rooms in the house. Could have just ordered from the manufacturer and gotten the fan on time I think.

Very low inventory on bulbs. They sold me the wrong ones, when I returned them for the correct bulbs they said we had to order them. I live an hour &a half away! I would have to pay shipping charges for there mistake. Not very good business practices.

Edit: I reached out to them from their response and never recieved anything back from them. Called to talk to the store manager and the lady who answered said to try later.Beautiful products yet way over peiced. Went in due to their Jan sale sign they had and it didnt seem much of a sale. The lady who greeted me seemed to have an automatic judgement type attitude, I chalk that up to me still being in my work clothes as I just got off work and everyone else in the store was more of the higher class type. That really threw me off. The lady who greeted me was more then happy to assist others but seemed to wander away when I would walk by which was a bit embarassing. There was a cute chair that had a pillow which I removed to see the rest and there was this weird gunky substance on the chair which was gross. I definitely did not expect this experience from a store but you cant get great service everywhere so oh well.

They have everything you need to light up your life or room even the front porch.

Bob was great to work with. Some things are really expensive but good values can be found if you look and work with the employees.

POOR QUALITY CONTROL AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! We bought a Possini Euro Chandlier, a table fountain, 2 Casa delta fans.1. The chandlier has has 15 LED lights, so we bought the 15 LED lightbulbs as well. The LED lights are supposed to last for several years we were told. The salesperson was nice enough to put the LEDs in the chandlier for us. But as soon as we got it home, almost every week we had 1 or 2 bulbs go off. Since it was covered for a year by warranty we went back. Such a waste of time!2. Then the fountain pump would not work, we were told to bring it back to the store so now another trip to the store. They told us that when the replacement fountain arrived someone from the store would call us. We waited for about a month and called back. The salesperson said that an email should have been sent out but obviously wasnt. They said they could not ship it to the home since we had returned it to the store. Ok - they are the ones who asked us to return it to the store in the 1st place. So again we go back to the store to pick it up.3. Fans-out of the 2 fans, 1 was obviously was not checked by quality control and we got 2 female wire parts for 1 male/ 1 female. The salesperson again suggested that it was the light part and to bring that part to the store. We were told the part would arrive in 2 days - they would expedite the order. The part arrived 5 days later. I also asked the salesperson to have the store manager call me to followup on the issue. No one from the store ever called. When the part arrived, we discovered it was the same thing as the original. When we returned to the store with it, the manager non-chalantly explained that it was the fan end wires that were incorrect not the light fixture wires. So again they asked us the entire fan-which we took 2 hours to install, back to the store.It has been about 2 months now and we have been back to the store with 1 problem or another atleast 5 times. These people dont care about their customers. All they care is about sales. TAKE YOUR $$ elsewhere AND SAVE A TON OF TIME!
